  1. Fortunately, I returned with first person abilities ready in hand to make the thread my domain once more as I wield the sword of Sandwich, the holy grail of a relic brought from the future to be used to summon the sandwich as I promptly do, winking into the camera as I ride a horse into the sunset with the sandwich in my hat.

Well, okay then. Guess it worked. :P

  5. Reality warped as a figure stepped out into this new place. Thaidakar Von Kelsier, Master Narrator, resident philosopher of TLT, had arrived, arrogance, high opinion of himself and all. He adjusted his fancifully decorated armor as he looked around the area, a faint hum of energy spreading from his core outwards. The fiber of existence seemed to bend around the words that came from his lips, carefully crafted by a mind known for foolishness for some purpose of the wordsmith's design, "Why, isn't this a quaint dimension we have here..." The narrator tightened straps that certainly had not been there before the moment he had needed them, jewel encrusted black metal armor growing closer to his arm. A gilded glass filled with a mixture of super-lava and Root formed out of pure Narration in the man's hand. A cool yet fiery drink, perfect for the circumstances, Thaidakar thought.

  11. What, in your opinion, is the greatest feat of fiction ever accomplished by the human mind in the history of humankind to date, acknowledging the fact that a yet greater novel, novella or novelette may arrive into this plane of existence? (for those who don't want to read all of that, the question is: What is your favorite fiction book?)
  12. And the world's gonna know your name! What's your name, man?
  13. yes, how did you know? TPBM just happens to have a lightsaber on their kitchen counter.
  14. I watched Wakanda Forever.

I liked it, it wasn't what it could've been, but it had an awesome tribute to Chadwick... all over the place...

Aight, time to rant about what I didn't like

    Spoiler

    FRICK YOU!

I personally wanted Shuri and Namor to die at the end by killing each other and, as she's dying, she sees her mother saying 'Show him who you are.." to keep that part, and she says, "I forgive you" after the whole flashback part. Thus setting up the third one with a big ol war without their leaders. then we also have at the end the Wakandans defeating the Talokans, but Nakia dies and tells Okoye and the others that there is still a king to be had in Wakanda, thus foreshadowing the second T'Challa.

Also, some of the character arcs were really half baked. Don't believe me, look at fricking Riri Williams. Why the holy frick does she have an iron man suit? We should at least get a flashback to her admiring Ironman or have her mention that she used to have a Stark Internship and that she took ideas from Tony and perfected some of it to make it more logical.

De Fontaine was under done, she just... She didn't feel well done for her character. They did her an injustice by not having her more in it and investigating Wakanda more... or they just shouldn't have had her in the movie, instead throwing in some other characters to do the same things. We could have that one guy from Antman and Wasp and Wandavision hop in and fill her place in some aspect of it.

Yeah. I feel like they gave us great characters that defied most molds, but then confined the plot to a cliche that didn't work with the characters they had. Kinda sad. It was still enjoyable though

  15. Oh my gosh...

    I finished Thunderhead last night...

    WOW

*begins furiously trying to find the Toll*

That was good. Despite one or two things I didn't like, it was great.

It wasn't as good as Scythe, but it was really good.

Grayson was cool. I noticed "The Toll" I wonder, was it named after him? Tolliver... Thunderhead likes him.. thunderhead caused the resonance... he's at a tonist place... there's the guy on the cover with the sound scarf... hmm... interesting...

Yaaaayyy!!! They're so good! You'll love the next one. I think Scythe was the best but the other two were fantastic as well

  16. I may not live to see our glory.

But I will gladly join the fight.

And when our children tell our story.

They'll tell the story of tonight.

Raise a glass to freedom, something they can never take away.

(The following bit has some of my opinions in it, if this is offensive in any way, please tell me.)

Independence Day is more than just celebrating America, it's about independence, freedom and liberty. Kingdoms and countries rise and fall, but tho we may love one country, freedom must be more important than any specific country. "This is how liberty fails, with resounding applause." Tho most of the dialogue in Revenge of the Sith is goofy, this line perfectly describes how I see the end of The United States happening. If it ever happens, that is.

Freedom and liberty are my country and rulers.

USA is a great country for what it is. I love the early days, I love what the founding fathers sought to create. They sought to rule with common sense and common consent. Any corruption in the current government makes a wound in my heart, thinking of the great country that was and that could still be. I love this country as I love the musical Hamilton. I loved a lot of it, except for a few things. The swear words, in specific, apply to this. They littered the musical, like ants covering an apple that I liked.

Again, do not mistake me, I love the USA. I love the ideas of independence and freedom that inspired this country, the great and lofty ideals that foster the greatness of a land, a land of the free and a home of the brave.

God bless America and its inhabitants.

    Happy Independence Day, folks.

*prays that this was vague enough not to get me muted for.*

there's a lot that Washington wouldn't have wanted.

The ideals are why I love this country, the ideals, the people who began it and the way they tried to set it up.

Yes. This is good. Theoretical America is awesome and in practice we didn't screw it up too badly. Mostly.

  17. HAPPY BIRTHDAY, VAPOR!!!!
