Sooooooo..... She hulk.
It was AWFUL!!! I don't want to offend anyone who liked it or thought it was good, but oh my gosh it's so bad. I thoroughly enjoyed watching it, because it was like watching a train wreck! They tried so hard and they failed so bad.
It was incredible too watch. Horrible in every department. Cgi, dialogue, scenes, plot, characters, acting, MAKING SENSE?!? Like it was just hilarious. And they did this weird thing where she hulk keeps breaking the 4th wall, but in the dumbest way possible, where she talks to the audience about the show or just stares into the camera like in the office.
I'm going to continue watching it probably because of how unintentionally funny I find it.
That was my rant, sorry to anybody who liked it.

Can I just geek about the Shadow and Bone Netflix show for a bit?!? I finished it a few months ago, but I just saw a terrible adaptation of another book that I love, and it really underscored what an AMAZING job they did on adapting Shadow and Bone and Six of Crows.
Even though the show is called Shadow and Bone, I thought that they honestly did better adapting the Six of Crows characters than the Shadow and Bone ones. While watching it, and even now that I'm done watching it, I can't BELIEVE what an INCREDIBLE job their casting director did!!!! Most of the characters were somehow exactly how I imagined them or did a good enough job acting the character that I was converted within their first episode. This applies especially to all of the Six of Crows characters and even more especially to Kaz! Freddy Carter was somehow BORN to play Kaz and it's beautiful to watch. Same with the characters that played the other 4 Crows who were pictured in that first season.
That was a rant, which probably not many of you care about
lol. Feel free to continue with your day.

Weeeeeeeelllll... If we were going to the backcountry, I wouldn't have brought any books. But we went to a group site with a ton of family for a family reunion. Most people had trailers and we just stayed in camp, which had a big cabin full of tables, or we were floating the river. So i didn't think that my books were in danger of being destroyed I didn't take them on the river btw.

Sorry for the two SUs so close to each other, but I have 2 more things.
Thing 4: I'm going camping over the weekend! It's going to be amazing. Idaho mountains might be the most beautiful place on earth.
Thing 5: MY SISTER IS READING MISTBORN! She listened to the first book last week and is on Well of Ascension now! I'm excited to get to talk to her about it. I was able to introduce her to the concept of a Sanderlanche last week

Three things.
Thing one: I finished Peter Jackson's Return of the King, extended edition! It was SO GOOD. That movie takes the total number of movies I have cried during to 2. So it's impressive.
Thing 2: for my birthday, I received a lot of Barnes and noble gift cards, which added up to a grand total of $60!! I finally went to Barnes and used all that to buy 5 books. Crooked Kingdom, The Raven Boys, Call Down the Hawk, Scythe, and Five Kingdoms book 1! I've read them all, and they're amazing.
Thing 3: this is related to thing 2, but my bookshelf may have finally reached overflowing! Many of my books are too tall for the shelves, so they have to go sideways or tilted, and that takes up space. I think I can fit 3, maybe 4 books on my top shelf, but that's it. Yes, I know there's a lot of books my Maggie Stiefvater on my shelf. Shhhh.

I finished The Raven King! It's the last book in the Raven Cycle.
Officially one of my favorite book series ever and I'm on my way to Barnes and Noble to buy the first one of I can find it!

@Thaidakar the Ghostblood there's four, and then there's a spin off trilogy. @Morningtide GO READ THE DREAMER TRILOGY :D The third one's coming out in October! It's about ronan and his brothers, and it's so good. (Not enough blue and gansy action, but that's ok, cause it says at the beginning "this is a story about the Lynch brothers" lol.)

So... The Raven Cycle by Maggie Stiefvater is officially amazing. I've only read the first book as of this status update, but I have the rest and they'll be finished soon!

It's so good! I will look at that SU @Szeth's Facepalm. I actually also started reading it because of you @elf. (And it's not letting me tag you) I am happy to join the Raven club! I will be getting a pet raven now. My current favorite character (I'm only in the first fourth of Blue Lily, Lily Blue) is Ronan. I don't have a reason, I just love him.

I'm going to the byui ropes course today! Should be fun.

I'm back from FSY! It was incredible! I loved it so much. I had the most spiritual week every and simultaneously one if the most fun weeks I've ever had. My company was amazing and everybody was so inclusive and awesome.
Some highlights:
1. The food was but as bad as I had been told. Wasn't good, but wasn't inedible either
2. The classes were incredible. I found one teacher I loved and went to three of his classes!
3. Aggie Ice Cream is really good!
4. Getting to know my company. It was great talking to everyone.
5. The guy who hosted the variety show Rick-rolled all 800 of us
6. Testimony meeting! So spiritual and incredible. I actually cried and I never do that. The company that was with mine for that night had been thorough some crazy stuff but had amazing and incredible testimonies.
7. All the boys in my company showed up to walk to girls to breakfast on Friday, even though we were a mile away and they were right by the breakfast spot! It was so sweet.
8. The second dance! The first one wasn't good and they played terrible music, but the second was awesome! I danced with 4 boys, which is 4 more than I ever have before
.
It was just an all around awesome experience.

I'm going to be offline for about a week because I'm going to fsy!

Well... it happened. I finally overflowed my bookshelf!
There's technically some space on the top shelf, but that's reserved for books that I own, and also the shelf isn't tall enough to fit most of my library books. That's why lots of them are leaning; they're to tall!
Most of the books laying down are Sanderson that I own and are to tall, but some are just because it looks better.

Happy Birthday! I think I'm a bit late...

Thanks for the follow!

Has anyone else ever realized that they know the songs on their playlist well enough to sing along without realizing it? VERY odd experience.

I've got one playlist that's 29 hours long, and it's a conglomeration of some songs that I really liked that had the vibe I wanted for my playlist, songs from a few of my friends' playlists (they played the playlists for me and the vibe checked out, so I added them before I'd even heard all the songs), and then a bunch of the songs that Spotify recommended to me based on the songs I already had.
Now it's like the only playlist I listen to, so I know most of the songs pretty well.

Obi-Wan is so good! My only complaint is that the main villain isn't a good actor! Not a great casting choice. The plot is interesting though and Ewan McGregor is amazing as always.
