Morningtide

My next three weeks are going to be amazing but I am going to crash so hard afterwards. 

I'm leaving later today for Girls Camp, and I will get back Friday afternoon. 

I'm then leaving veeeeerrrry early Saturday morning for a family trip to the redwoods and will return the next Saturday night. 

I'm then leaving THE NEXT MONDAY MORNING and driving to Provo Utah for the BYU Young Author's Writing Academy. I'll get back from that the next Saturday. 

Moral of the story, over the next three weeks I will have precisely 1 full day of being at home. And me, the introvert, is going to die. 

But it'll be fine! I'll have fun! And hopefully no breakdowns!!

I HAVE RETURNED AFTER TWO WEEKS 

which actually isn't that long but I used to be on every day. It'll probably be like this all summer

I MIGHT BE GOING TO DRAGONSTEEL CON!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 

I'm so excited! My family went hiking with some family friends who are also sanderfans and we decided that we might go to dragonsteel together! It would be so much fun!

I love thunderstorms.

It's been absurdly rainy in my area lately and there's been a thunderstorm almost every afternoon, which is amazing. 

I'm so happy right now. I've been reading a spectacular book for the past few hours and now I'm sitting with my computer, listening to imagine dragons and the rain. It's peaceful and wonderful and I want to remember this forever. The little moments are the best. 

on another note I have been gone for a bit and have 270 notifs! Did anything important happen?

I'm literally done with all my schoolwork for the entire week. This is the last week of educational school (next week we still have school but we're doing movies and things).

I was very efficient yesterday so i finished all of my tests and things so now I'm incredibly bored because i'm not allowed to do 'nothing', but no teacher has anything to do. 

I'm currently making my science teachers lesson plans for next year. This is stupid

Ok we had the craziest storm the other day. I live in Idaho, so we don't get much rain. Like we get sprinkles fairly often during spring and the occasional actual inch or two of rain, but never a lot. 

But on Tuesday. It RAINED. For 45 MINUTES. And there was SO MUCH WIND. My neighborhood got the worst of it and it was crazy. It was super concentrated so some parts of my rather small city didn't even get much rain but we got what looked like a hurricane. 

The wind wasn't actually as bad as a hurricane but it was blowing the rain so much that you could barely see through it. And it rained harder than I have ever seen in my life!

Someone in my neighborhood actually had their roof collapse under the weight of the rain! I don't know anyone that didn't get roof leaks or window well leaks and some people's entire basements flooded. A ton of cars got stuck and it was just overall crazy. 

Never seen anything like it in Idaho.

Just heard the best insult

"I hope when you're walking around your house barefoot you step on that little pile of crumbs and then there's tuff stuck to your feet for the rest of the day"

said in a Karen voice by a freshman boy.

WHAT IS THIS. I'M IN HIGHSCHOOL IN AMERICA. I can understand being a bit wrong, off by 50 or so years or even 100. BUT 1950?!?!? That was like 70 years ago. And 1312 is before Columbus got to this continent!! I'm dying inside now

After rewatching most of the MCU with my sister, I can officially say that Loki is my favorite character with Tony coming close behind! 

They are both very smart and very sassy and I like them

So apparently an hour and a half of ultimate frisbee followed immediately by an hour and a half of tennis with minimal water and no food is bad and I shouldn't do it.

And you shouldn't do it either!

IT WAS 60 DEGREES YESTERDAY AND I THOUGHT SPRING WAS HERE FOR REAL BUT NOW IT'S LIKE 30 AND WE HAVE 3 INCHES OF SNOW. OVER NIGHT. 

Idaho weather is a scam and seasons don't exist :PP

We're doing a poetry unit in Language and Lit, and we are currently having to analyze a form of poetry. My teacher said I could do any form I want, so I am analyzing Keteks! They're so cool! Definitely my favorite form of poetry. 

I just used the word 'form' waaaaay too many times lol. 

I finished Secret Project 2!!! Quite good imo. VERY good characterization, especially if the viewpoint character! Good plot and setup too!

It's my Shardiversary!! 2 years on the shard! I'm kinda busy today so I'm not going to do a big thing but you are all amazing people! You're the best! You got this! Have a great day

Me, my Sanderfan teacher, and the other 3 Sanderfans at my school are doing a challenge! We're each creating a Hoid-like character with one power from each magic system. The goal is to create the most overpowered character that could beat all the others in a fight! Should be fun! 

I might post everything we came up with later, we'll see

I finished Shadow and Bone season 2! I have many thoughts. Full of many, many spoilers. Read at your own risk!!!

I do love Kaz tho. He is SO GOOD in this too!!!!!!!!

Just saw the first episode of Shadow and Bone season 2!!! 

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I LOVE IT SO MUCH THEY DID SO GOOOOOOOOOD!!!!!!! THEY'RE ALL PERFECT

Except Nikolai sadly. I'm not loving his writing so far but hopefully that changes. 

KAZ JUST SAID, ON SCREEN, "BRICK BY BRICK" IT COMPLETES MY SOUL. He followed that with "The barrel doesn't belong to kings. It belongs to b*stards" and I'm dying inside I will give my soul to these characters they are perfect. 

They're representing Kaz's backstory already and his trauma and his issues with touch and everything is impeccable. 

My 3 year old sister was trying (and failing) to put on her pajama pants and I told her I believed in her. Her answer? 

"I don't believe in you!" followed by "Woooooooooooooow" She sounded like she was congratulating herself on the best insult ever  It was hilarious
