  1. While I agree with you on this one, there is absolutely some backflow from AoS into the movies. That's where that random Helicarrier in Age of Ultron came from.
  2. Somebody bribed my vote onto DC for some reason, which... thanks, I guess? It didn't make DC any more lynched, and it means I'm probably going to get a share of the spoils (I haven't got a PM yet, so I'm not certain). Also, rusts, I had passed my ledgers back to phatt. He was supposed to pass them on. Could the person who received them contact me?
  3. Agreed, but it's crazy to think about.
  4. I never read the comics, but I wanted to share this tidbit I just learned from Wikipedia: Spoilered, in case you don't want to hear it.
  5. I disagree. WoK is way to slow to make a decent game, and WoR is only slightly better. Most of these books is thinking and talking. They would have to shove unwanted action scenes in there just to keep the player engaged. And since these scenes would probably be things like plateau runs and training in the chasms, they would quickly grow stale. I'd much rather have a story designed from the ground up for gaming, like we're getting with Birthright. That said, you're right in that Alloy of Law would actually make a great game.
  6. Responses: Anyone starting a PM at this point is immediately suspect. I doubt they would risk it. It doesn't show the last five words they said, it shows that last five that were said in any PM or doc they have access to. Just being an Eliminator is enough to cause you to fail the scan. The Windwhisper need only tell each of their targets the names of everyone who's been scanned. EDIT: Ninja'd. Although Lopen was mistaken about point 2.
  7. He left my conversation, too, and when I sent a new message asking about it, he said he was going on vacation for the next week or so. I'm not sure why that means he has to close all his PMs, but there it is. Yeah, that does sound like a confession of tomfoolery. Gah, I hate that.
  8. I've been scanned by phattemer. I was waiting on him to say something, but he's apparently not going to. It happened C2, and I have since sent the ledgers on. I will reveal who I scanned next turn, after the ledgers are no longer in their hands. We also have nearly 100% public confirmation of Alvron.
  9. He tells me that he thinks his scan was redirected. Which shouldn't be a possibility -- didn't Joe say that if that happened, Strawman would be informed of who the new target was? Strawman, if there really was no scan, I think you've made a very bad mistake. Oh, and Alvron for Governor. Again. EDIT: Because I colored the wrong word purple. *facepalm*
  10. It's a hindrance for the original plan, as Windwhispers are no longer able to target people in other locations. However, it allows for a new one which is far more efficient. If we swing this right, every single player who hasn't sent a PM could be scanned at once tonight. we just need everyone to get into the same room by the end of the night, then the Windwhisper will use their last action to perform a mass scan. I vote for B2, because we can take advantage of the Bendalloy misting there. Anonymous Slider, will you please burn Bendalloy again tonight?
  11. It was never high profile, but Obliteration's appearance, if nothing else, is definitely modeled after Jim Butcher. I always took the sword and the religious motif as indicators that this guy didn't just look like Jim Butcher -- he was Jim Butcher, in Epic form. After Calamity, though, that sort of falls apart.
