  1. Gah, speak of the devil... That's just spooky. I was talking about the fact that you don't have a vote placed, so using the dagger again would have been a one-time deal. Now that you're here, however, you can do so. EDIT: What are you up to, Hellscythe? Why the sudden, last-minute switch?
  2. All right. You're on the bulletin, now. If you want it to say anything more than it does, just ask. Once we have a sizable body of doctors, I intend to hire us out to the other guilds. Our expertise should prove invaluable in their constant squabbles and shenanigans.
  3. Welcome to the Abundance, Dr. NeLaar! Yes, you are very much welcome here; honestly, all you really need for admission is to have the honorific 'Dr.' or some such in front of your name. Would you like to write a brief summary of yourself, to be posted on the Guild bulletin? Hah! Your joke is too late, Gargoyle -- someone else has already joined!
  4. I'm focusing less on last turn, and more on the one paragraph justifications for your votes this turn, which both feel uncomfortably similar to things Aman and I have said. Also, both came exactly as it became clear that that person was already the prime target for the Lynch. Which is fine, Orlok's arguments notwithstanding, except that it seems as though you are trying to make it appear that you are contributing to the discussion without actually doing so. I have much bigger suspicions to pursue, so you're in the clear for now; I'm just pointing out that your behavior feels odd to me. And yes, your point about Adamir had been made:
  5. Phatt, I'm noticing that your opinions in this game all seem to be copied more or less directly from someone else's prior thoughts. If you're just trying to get your vote positioned to get items, just say so; there's no shame in that. Otherwise, the utter lack of original thought is beginning to worry me.
  6. Aman, might I persuade you to switch your vote to Adamir? In addition to being significantly more suspicious in my eyes, I think his alignment is more valuable right now. If it turns out that he's a Villager, that will essentially clear Alvron, which would mean that we wouldn't have to lynch both of them. Adamir, I can see you down there at the bottom. Are you planning on offering an explanation for your choice of targets any time soon?
  7. Oddly enough, I am now far more suspicious of Adamir. Alvron's actions are potentially explainable. Adamir's are, quite simply, not. As Aman has already pointed out, there was no valid reason for you to have scanned Ripple. Can you offer one? I realize this change comes a little late, considering the bandwagon I have apparently started. Sorry about that, Alv.
  8. Aman, on further consideration of everyone's points, I'm tempted to agree that we don't learn as much from inactive lynching as I'd previously implied. I am withdrawing that part of my opinion. My vote remains on Alvron -- the manipulation of Mailliw's vote, while potentially explainable, still strikes me as somewhat convenient for Alv, and at the moment, that's the best suspicion I've got. But it's a far more tentative vote, likely to move by the end of the cycle. I still have some reservations about what Alvron is doing, but they are issues of strategy, not of alignment.
  9. I agree that on a metagame level, it's a good idea to discourage inactivity. In this game, however, that is far better accomplished with the Lynch. Most kill roles reveal alignment, meaning that killing inactives is useful in that game, not just in establishing the long-term meta. This is not the case with the dagger. I don't understand -- are you saying that you got the gold the vote-manipulator spent, as well as whatever you got from the lynch? I was under the impression that spent gold vanishes, rather than passing on like items do.
  10. You're not finding Eliminators. We don't get their alignment. You're just removing semi-random players from the game, which serves the Eliminators more than it does us. Your item acquisition explanation makes a sort of sense, but my vote holds, as you're not only the best suspicion I have, I consider you a public menace for your 'knife the inactives' plan. If it turns out you were a Villager, you can tell us the result of your ledger scan from behind bars.
  11. He's almost certainly a Villager. The only people who have anything to gain from using the Dagger at this stage are the Eliminators. This makes Alvron my number one suspicion now, as he positioned himself perfectly to receive the Dagger. I suggest that anyone who used Ledgers and found a Corrupt Senator post that player's identity publicly. As you are no longer in possession of the item, there is no reason for the Eliminators to attack you. Anyone who found a Villager should wait a turn, then do the same, so they don't put their targets at risk.
  12. @Maill: Yes. I actually already revealed that. I came up with the idea for Operation Windwhisper almost immediately after starting that PM, which, I know, makes me look very guilty. There's nothing to be done for it, unfortunately. @Kynedath: Kandra do have powers. It doesn't match up with the way it works in the books, but they do. Last go round, I was a kandra with Allomantic iron, Feruchemical chromium, and the Blessing of Presence.
