  1. They'll get to you eventually! You're just not a priority target right now, because you aren't acting suspiciously, and you haven't indicated any valuable powers. I do think it might be best if we take Lopen's suggestion, and decide here and now who's going to be scanned. I think Aman comes next, but after that, we should probably only pick a few more players, and allow the rest to start PMing.
  2. All right, I'm hearing a slightly different story from Elbereth: We do not have to remove Wilson, as she is apparently on our side. Haelbarde is also "mostly" on our side. The real adversary is just Yosef, who is "actually the corrupt one". She also wanted it noted that the prisoners do not believe that a jailbreak will affect either win condition. The rules state that either side must arrest or kill all of their enemies; there is no mention of keeping them arrested. The GMs refuse to comment on this.
  3. New knowledge from the mouths of the imprisoned! According to the introduction to the Jail doc, Haelbarde has a key to the holding cell. Another guard (presumed to be Wilson) is guarding the cell. Jailbreaking does not involve killing constables, but does require the use of some other items. When we purchase items, we are purchasing them from Hael. These are the 'bribes' he is open to. The prisoners (or at least Aman, who seems to be voicing group ideas) and I now believe that the method of escape involves acquiring that key from Haelbarde, and possibly removing Wilson from the equation. I see two ways of getting the key. First, we could try to use a Search Warrant on Dr. Heatherlocke. Alternatively, someone could spend five bags of boxings on an item, and request the key to the holding cells. Since the GMs have explicitly stated that killing is not a part of it, the only way we can think of to remove Wilson from her post, if that proves to be necessary, is by drugging her for the duration of the jailbreak. Do you guys think this is what it's like in real Congress?
  4. Or very good for the Spiked, if you're evil. "I'm very powerful" is not a valid reason to keep you alive. That said, I personally believe Aman should be spared the lynch, as he is my current favorite pick for Operation Windwhisper. Clanky, could you tell us if said Windwhisper is willing to scan Aman tonight? On a side note, I feel that this exclamation mark notation is getting out of control. I accept it as a way to denote different behavior patterns within a single entity; e.g. Village!Wonko and Eliminator!Wonko (The former of which is much, much better at this game). But how is saying 'a Spiked!Rioter' conveying any more information than saying 'a Spiked Rioter'?
  5. Aman thinks he's found the way to get somebody out of prison. Apparently, he was told that we were thinking 'too far outside the box' with our blue votes, and that the actual way out had been built into the game from the beginning. After some digging and thinking about wording, he found this: He'd like us to try forcing a tie between all the prisoners, to see any will be released. The GMs haven't given any indication whether this idea is right or wrong, but I feel it's worth a shot. Maill. Aman.
  6. And get this -- Lift actually can heal herself with food!
  7. He was actually in the last guild, believe it or not, but I worry that he may be overpowered for this one. Do you want Kevin? We can alter his power some, so that he can move through space within a universe, as well as between universes. I'd rather avoid time travel.
  8. Oh, okay, I could get behind that. And if you set it in the time of the Desolations, you could have Radiants in it. You're right, it would make a pretty strong open world action/RPG, a la Elder Scrolls. It would be a crazy ambitious project, though. It also couldn't be made for many years yet, because we'd need a lot more imagery of what it was like during the Desolations. I was saying that unwanted action scenes would be the only way to salvage this particular game. Nothing else Kaladin or Dalinar do would make for remotely enjoyable gameplay, and Shallan would probably have to be left out of a WoK game entirely. It's actually the fact that it would have to be an action game that would kill the game; that's what I meant when I called them 'unwanted'. I'm not at all trying to suggest that that's the only type of game worth playing.
  9. Aman, I agree that it's important to know your identity. That's why we sent the ledgers your way in the first place. I wish you had discussed this with me in PM first, but I understand that you didn't realize it was our ledgers until too late. I will do what I can to get you protection from kills tonight, but lynching you is kind of a necessity at this point. And come on guys, vote Alvron! I'd say we need a few more than three extra votes, considering how hard the Corrupt seem to be working against this.
