  1. I see this working one time but then Radiants will know to throw up a shield when this happens which will hurt but will not incapacitate
  2. It says it somewhere in WoR I’ll try to find it sometime but there is a source Edit: My source seems to have run out on me but if anyone else wants to find it is there...somewhere. In one of three 1000 page Stormlight books ( This is why your supposed to put page numbers in your notes, lesson learnt)
  3. So basically the world is ending and everyone has had their homes destroyed and your idea is to come in upend tradition take out the leader of the town and then hightail it out of their 15 minutes later. It was a much better idea to let Roshone, who organized the town fairly well and was not a bad leader, in charge then add an extra not needed burden of changing leadership Kaladin brother died a year ago and it didn’t need to culminate now. Also no double posting just edit your last post
  4. No completely serious it makes complete sense narratively because Navani has a way into Kholinar because of her title she will go to negotiate as a bondsmith, bring Shallan with her as an escort. Then Shallan would look for BAM The real reason BAM is there is because in the days of KR a lot of Windrunners lived in Kholinar so that would have been a defensible position. I think it makes more sense than it being in a Rall elorim
  5. Well of course it did that’s the point. I wasn’t going to wait for someone to say “what’s crow” and then I’d have to respond... it would be horrible this makes everything much simpler Well this entire topic is speculative anyway and BAM is obviously in Kholinar
  6. Yes that was exactly what I was going for and yes I did know that I was using the anolagy because we have seen shardhammers before
  7. I would say that a duraluminium mace=Shard hammer hit with Shardplate so it will crack the plate but not break it I believe Compounding would get greater affects of course
  8. I hear eating a lot of crows can be murder (anyone get the joke)
  9. I’m going to have to disagree plain and simple with you here Same here since it’s built on the premise of the quote above
  10. So...since he went to Cultivation he grew into an honorable man? I don’t think Dalinar WoK is different in a significant way from Dalinar RoW @Quick Ben
  11. So you don’t think WoK Dalinar is honorable The man who gave up a Shard for 2000 bridge men. I don’t think Dalinar was remotely honorable after cultivation pruned him I think he made those choices and became honorable by his own volition Cultivation did not make him honorable
  12. Let me rephrase: Do you think Dalinar in WoK the most honorable lighteye in Alethkar per somebody is the same person when the Nightwatcher takes his memory If you read the Nightwatcher scene it is obviously not what happens in my opinion He only finds out at the end of OB after that it woudnt be honorable to destroy his sons life to defend a princedom that rebelled. It would, they would openly declare war which they would never have done otherwise (from Dalinar point of view)
  13. Ialial(or whoever Sadeas wife is) knew that Dalinar was in some part responsible she just didn’t have evidence and they all decided that the ending of the world was a bigger problem. So do you think that the Dalinar today is the same as the Dalinar right after the Nightwatcher This I will also say agree to disagree because a resolution will not happen here Sure
  14. Welcome to the Debate Not sure what your going for here but I’ll assume your asking why isn’t Sadeas men still mad about it. The answer is their practicaly all dead and their proncedom betrayed the Coalition so nobody would care if they complained The facts are the town needed stability and it would need it indefinitely so he left Roshone in charge which was honorable because it protect the many why’ll sacrificing his need for vengeance I said Vassal ( forgot the L) What? They all knew about it, they had fights Someone can grow even if they are helped along the way Cultivation did not make him a good person. not even close. She did one thing, take away Evi Then Dalinar decided to move past his problems with great pains and become honorable Responding to your new post: there were tons of things happening after Sadeas died And Hindsight is 20 20 as I have said You can’t say “ he should start a civil war because in 20 chapters a Desolation will happen and there will be a civil war anyway” that’s not how it works rihht there in that moment the only thing to do was to let him walk away with the shards and hopefully come back in a weak, Parshendi destroyed, and bring Amaram to justice
  15. The idea here from Quick Ben is that this an artificial growth via cultivation that does not deserve the term ‘honarable’ which I disagree with Well he is trying Amaram in court or at least that was the plan he would have taken him down if he could have without destabilizing Alethkar
  16. True, very true guess someone will need to ask Brandon
  17. You touch a fused right before a arrow reaches him and then all the Arrows go to that area with much more accuracy
  18. How would attacking a Highprince vassa in a literal powder keg of a society not make it blow up In Sadeas murder they never proved who did it and frankly they all understood they had bigger fish to fry and then they finally turned with odiums influence Before the night watcher sure “ He remembered his few years as a Drunkard” Thats someone who battles the need to drink How is it Honorable to destroy a town for petty vengeance that was all together Amaram fault
  19. Not really the real villain but someone that has a lot of influence as a advisor
  20. @Chinkoln do you get extra rep for being a patreon?
