  1. The freaking title though. I'm amused -- TJ is clearly exasperated; he built this game and gave all the cards to town, and we still managed to screw it up. Well, that's just how the cookie crumbles.

Jameson nodded at the two figures that were now at the door of his tent, the darkness cloaking all but the knives they held. There was no need for faces. There were only three left, and he knew already how it had been. With a quiet smile, he retrieved a pipe from the pouch and settled himself in the humble, but comfortable chair he had brought for himself, looked for a long moment, drew a few deep breaths of smoke, and began.

"Clever. You've played your hand brilliantly, Breaker, I see. Kept your head down, your mouth closed, subtly directing us to our own demise while casting smoke and mirrors upon yourself. You kept me at Philico's throat just enough to sow discord, direct my mind away from the possibility that you were subtly leading myself and dear Roko astray. And it seems you've finally gotten to them, show them the light or error of your own ways, depending on who you ask, of course. And now you come to me, to extend either a hand or a knife to my flesh. Well played indeed."

"So you come now, this night, and ask me, amid this storm, a question of interesting regard, I think. You ask me a question of person, of character, of moral. You ask me if I am willing to die for my honor? Or am I willing to reject it, and keep my own life? In essence, you ask me this: Am I a honorable man?"

"So you come to me with this question. And in return, I pose you this: Have I once lied? Been untruthful? Been unfaithful to my word? Or have done other than to give myself for my community and my people, until I alone were to remain to represent them? I answer no, for though I walked them to their deaths, I did it for a love of my people and because I sought to protect them, and they knew as much and know now. And now, it seems, I may go to join them yet."

"You come to me with violence, threatening me to join you, but after a man walks so many to their deaths, how does a man fear it himself? No, Death and I are close of spirit, for he has walked with his hand on my shoulder, and now he beckons me to follow him on his walk one last time. I have led my place in the Pattern, and now he is prepared to return me to it. But there is no need to come to me with violence, cousins. This pipe I hold? The herb I smoke? It is laced with poison, fit for the use of someone as myself who is placed as both a diplomat and a spy. I keep it with me always, should I my life be forfeit, and it seems that was not in vain. Perhaps, though, I will be remembered -- and you will remember me -- as a seeker of justice, and as an Ajah who never lied, and told only the truth that I meant for others to hear.

So this is our vote count. @James Brafin, have you manip'ed Condensation's null vote to a vote on Order? That way, even if they vote, they would have to vote for Order anyways or they would die alone. The only way this can possibly fail is if Condensation and Order are elims together, but then by their actions, we'd know that and kill Order. As the vote stands, we are fine. Do not change, do not switch, do not alter things in any way.

It has been done as you have suggested.

  3. Relax, I've just cleaned up a flaw in the plan.

There is a possibility that Connie is Elim, and she's still got a buddy, right? Small, but possible. So she could switch their vote at the last second, hit Order, and win. I've voted Conden, and forced them to vote Order. Now, if they change their vote, they die, just as Order might if they are the Elim. Unless one of y'all do something wild, it forces the paired kill, and leaves nothing to chance.

It feels strange to be done plotting already. It's been 4 hours and we're all good to go. What happened to those panicked last minute vote swaps, and the rampant paranoia? I suppose that's what happens when everyone dies. I wonder how the spec doc's holding up. Screaming? Laughing? Hysteria? Just double-checking a few things.

This isn't technically a promise. Condensation, I want you to repeat as follows: "I swear that I will not vote on anyone besides the Game Master on this cycle. If I fail to do so, I forfeit my soul. If I have already lost my soul, I forfeit the souls of my siblings, Mist and Vapor."

@James Brafin, did you submit the vote manip? Did you receive verification? Is everything confirmed? Idea: Instead of nullifying someone, change Condensation's null vote to an Order vote. That way, even if they vote to save themself, they would have to vote for Order anyways and the tie is preserved.

Is everything good to go? Are we sure everything is good? No last minute panicking from someone [Matrim... James... People I don't remember...]? Anyone want to kill the Game Master?

If anyone switches votes last minute, we will execute you. I am very twitchy right now, mostly because the teachers kept mis-inputting my grades and spooking me, so I'm letting out tension by ensuring that everything is as we planned.

Haven't yet; will do here shortly. I can't change a vote only add or remove.

The only thing about Order is though

Apparently they're active in their Warder PM. And clearly active enough to come when tagged. So it's not like they're not paying attention.

They ain't that active. The last thing they gave to me was a really bad and convoluted plan to mess with the planned tie yesterday

Which isn't making me feel a whole lot better.

We of the Eliminator team agree to these terms.:P

Seriously, I like the Gears one vote above plan, the only problem is, if James doesn't remove from Connie, then I don't die.

There's six. Three people vote Connie, three vote order, and I don't touch anyone. That's the plan. Everyone cool with that? Okay? Okay.

Nah nah this is what I’m worried about

    Like a James-Connie team.

And like we’ll try to tie it an he’ll just manip away to win.

Think about it, why’d they kill Devo over James? James has been significantly more trusted.

I change my mind. Tying it is a baaaad idea. Just kill Connie, only Connie.

Lol what happened to only one warder or two Aes Sedi?

I just got real suspect of Dice, y'all.

  8. 16 minutes ago, Gears said:

Oh. I suppose I did not tie. We can do the tie if people switch and someone retracts/our Greys use vote manip. I think the tie would be beneficial. @Matrim's Dice, @Breaker, @James Brafin, @Devotary of Spontaneity, decide amongst yourselves if you 1. want the tie, 2. should have the tie, and 3. will be the one to switch to cause the tie. If people don't want to retract, we can have a Grey nullify Condensation's vote. We need 1 switcher and 1 retracter/nullified.

I would be good with a tie; We have a better shot at 3/2 worst case scenario than 4/2. And it's easier to do now than tomorrow, when we're just guessing. Anyone else?

...I don't think it's widely viewed as a poor argument. I think it's widely viewed as a good argument.

    But idk.

While you're here, who did you scan, and what?

    Me, no targets.

But I could have told you that, as Elims have been pushing for a misshrek for a while now. I think they’ve been hoping they can get us into exlo and nip one of us off.

Also y’all have got to stop pining my anxious ass. Not cool.

This wagon built way faster than I am comfortable with

p-edit: Not true, Breaker; the greys can just screw up. Really bad too. But it’s a further compelling argument for why Archer is suspicious.

  10. 8 minutes ago, Archer said:

Good question. My best guess is because you are an elim and they want to keep you alive because you're largely trusted. My second best guess is that the two Greys both seemed less dangerous than Orlok (fear kill). My third best guess is they're RNGing these kills and I will scream if that's the answer.

    Ah yes. So
So your reasoning is "If James kills Devo, he'll look like an Elim. So James doesn't kill Devo, so he looks like an Elim?"
So no matter what I do, I look like an elim.
This is just confbias. I can't even. I've hashed out this argument twice now -- you can't elim read someone for both doing and not doing something. That's just bad logic! Not to mention that we have mechanically confirmed that both the Greys are village. The very fact that you are trying to get us both off today is about the dumbest thing you could be doing right now.

(Edit to say that the Elims probably hit Orlock because it's a safe shot. No frills, nothing fancy; it deprives us of info and hides their motives. Their next shot will be between Order and Connie, most likely.)
