"Thanks! What kind of experiments are you guys doing?"

"I'm great! Can I see you do your experiments? It sounds cool!" Cara replied, glad that someone was happy to see her. She pointedly did not address Gal yet. Just in case he was still mad at her.

After wandering around for a bit, Cara found a library and discovered Ara and Gal there. "Hey guys! Whatcha doing?"

Sensing that the conversation was over, Cara said, "bye" and left. Wonder what Ara's up to? Cara thought. Cara wandered around for a bit, searching for Ara while reflecting on her conversation with The Shadow. He didn't seem to like me.

"How often do you follow prophecies? And where do they come from?"

"True, true, I do have a question, though. Why follow a prophecy and chase after a dragon? And how on earth did you get all of these people to go with you?"

Cara casually walked over to The Shadow, determined to be friends with him by the end of the day. "Hi, whatcha doing?"

"I'm Daisy," Daisy said, voice soft. "What is...chocolate?"

"It's great! I love it!"

"Why are you hanging out with a human? Humans could hurt you. We could find someplace safe and find out what is going on" Daisy said, keeping an eye on the human.

Can I join? Also, if the answer is yes, can I be in group 2?

Cara notices Gal, talking to Ara. Maybe he'll be in a better mood now. Only one way to find out. Cara turns to Gal, "Hi"

Realizing that the phoenix wouldn't be alone anytime soon, Daisy nervously came out of her hiding spot and squeaked, "Hi"

"So the Shadow just lets people join dangerous missions without telling them?" Cara sighed. "Seems to me like people should have the right to know what they are getting into beforehand. How long ago did you join this crazy quest?"

"Let me see that" Cara demanded, snatching the copy form Orpheus. Reading the paper, she felt reality sink in. They were going after a dragon. That's just great. Calming herself somewhat, Cara said, "Well, thanks for telling me before we actually met up with the dragon."

Cara blinked. "Wha...? The Shadow spoke a prophecy? Wait...we're going to find a dragon?!!! And no one thought to tell me until now?!!" Seems like something someone ought to have mentioned earlier, Cara thought. Everyone knew all this time and no one ever thought to tell her? A heads up like, 'Oh, hey, Cara, just thought you might like to know we're all putting our lives in serious danger and going after a dragon!' would've been nice.

"Dragons?! I though we were talking about prophecies. What does a dragon have to do with anything?"

"I mean like what prophecy are you talking about. I don't have anything to do with any prophecy."

"What prophecy?"

"Yes, I have travelled far and wide although I'm sure that there are other great entertainers out there. Not sure if I'm actually the best, but I am very well known."

"Maybe I do; maybe I don't. I guess you'll never know."

"Yeah, it's a new trick. Made it up myself!"
