Having barely finished Words of Radiance, Daisy flew behind Lilliana at the sudden noise. "Um...I don't know...It could be something scary." Daisy gulped.

Cara saw Ni moving towards the dragon. "That dragon kind of tried to kill us, so I can see why The Shadow wouldn't let you join us. There's a weird prophecy that talks about dragons. Our group is trying to fulfill that prophecy I guess. Whatever that means..."

Cara's heart fell. She didn't want Ni to leave, but she knew that The Shadow was probably wise to decline Ni's company. The group did seem to get in danger a lot. Turning back to Ni, Cara said. "Sorry, I guess you can't stay. It's probably for the best. Our group kind of got mixed up with some dangerous stuff."

Cara led Ni around the tower for a little bit, looking for The Shadow. After a little bit, Cara looked out a window and saw The Shadow with Gal, a random person, and a giant dead dragon. "It looks like The Shadow is outside with a dead dragon." Cara told Ni, wondering if a dead dragon was too gory for him. Well, I mean if The Shadow lets him stay, he'll probably be seeing some sort of dead animal. Cara thought. Cara led Ni outside where The Shadow and the scholar person were talking with a random person. "Hi, The Shadow, um..this is Ni." Cara said, gesturing to Ni. "Can he join our group? He wants to." @Tesh

Cara sighed in relief. Ni wanted to stay. "Alright, let's go to The Shadow so you can officially join the group. He's our mostly leader."

Cara walked back into the kitchen and looked at Ni. "I just need to ask you something. Do you want to stay with us? Or go back to doing whatever you were doing?"

"It ate the kid's father?! That is one mean dragon."

"Bye" Cara said to Orpheus before making her way back to the kitchen where she left Ni.

"I knew it!"

Unable to contain her excitement, Emily exclaimed. "Just say it. There is a dragon."

"Really?"

"She has magic?"

"Yeah, I've travelled all over, stopping by towns and entertaining them. This adventure though. The one I'm currently in is so weird and interesting." Cara paused, "And, yeah, stealing from people isn't very nice."
