"What are you reading?" Daisy asked softly.

Cara heard loud crashing sounds. She felt Ni tap Cara on her knee. Glancing up, she saw Ni cup one hand around his ear and point down. Cara stood up. "Want to go investigate?"

"Oh, and you started squawking really loud. That's gotta get them to stop."

"Me either. Any ideas on how to get them to stop? Yelling at them didn't work and the other human tried begging..."

Cara just sat there quietly, still hugging him.

Cara slowly sat down next to him and hugged him. "Do you want to go back?"

"Oh, rats, you did. Why?" I gotta take him back to his guardian. Cara thought. But what if his guardian is mean?

"Did you...run away?"

"Did you get lost while playing?"

Oh, so you do have a guardian, eh? "Well, you should be getting back to your guardian. They must be worried sick. I can accompany you back."

"Doesn't make it right to yell at you guys like that."

Daisy blushed and looked down. "I'm sorry" she apologized to Jinn and the human. "That was mean."

Gathering up all her courage, Daisy flew over to them. "GUYS! STOP FIGHTING! ITS NOT HELPING ANYONE!" She screamed, voice high pitched. "AND FOR YOUR INFORMATION, HUMAN, MAGIC HAS EXSISTED FOR A LONG TIME AND LOOK THE WORLD IS STILL HERE IN GOOD SHAPE." She stood in the air, out of breath and surprised with herself for raising her voice.

"Do you have a guardian or something?"

Okay...Uh...what are you supposed to do when you find a child in the woods? Cara thought. Ara might know. Too bad she's leaving. "Do you want to find your parents?"

Daisy had cleaned herself up and was listening to the human and genie argue. She flew over to Cadence. "Those two are very good at arguing."

"You're from over there? North...east?"

"Where did you come from then?"

"Did you come from a nearby town?"

"Nine? Oh, wow, you look much younger. Do you know where your parents are?"

"Huh. You're pretty good at sewing. You know I once had a friend who loved to sew. She would sew everything. Clothes, curtains, bedding...you name it. How old are you anyway?"

When they arrived, Cara led Ni around the tower unsure of what to do. She avoided going up near the library. She didn't want to run into Minuet and Ara. She apparently had to take of a little kid now. I'm not even an adult. let alone a mother. I am not equipped for taking care of a child. Eventually, Cara wandered into a kitchen. "Um..Are you hungry?"

"Yes, right. We should go inside." Cara continued toward the tower.

"Where are your parents? And what are you doing in the woods by yourself?"

Cara stared at him blankly. After a moment, she understood. "Oh!" Cara exclaimed, "I get it now. Your name is Ni."
