  1. "Watcha reading?"
  2. Cara turned to Gal, "Hi! Whatcha doing?"
  3. "Yeah, it's really interesting." Cara said, acknowledging Gal. "She's pretty cool." Turning back to Ara, Cara asked, "What happens when you combine etchings?"
  4. "Alrighty," Cara said before she tied the last bag to her horse and grabbed the reins. When she was done, Cara turned back to Ara while waiting for the others to finish up.
  5. "Cool! Are there any specific kinds of metal or is it just metal in general? Also, what kind of technology do you have there?"
  6. "That's pretty cool. Did you live in the mountains then?" Is it like super freezing cold in the mountains or is kind of cold?"
  7. I just needed to say that I loved With Stars Comes Awareness, With Snow Comes Silence. I personally love to read romance, and the romance in this story was so sweet and perfect.
  8. Cara blinked. "Wow, that sounds interesting and cool. A good combo. Are there a lot of them just floating in the sky in Aerduar? Like, do they prefer to stay away from civilization, or can you see them just floating around by the market? I play the guitar, uke, flute, and violin. Mainly guitar."
  9. "Mine is green. What is your favorite creature?"
  10. "Oh, cool, Aerduar, I think I've visited once. Nice place." Cara responded, keen to learn all about her new friend. "What's your favorite color?"
  11. "I play guitar and sing. I also tell stories." Cara replied, "What about you? Where are you from and what are your interests?"
  12. Cara looked up and enthusiastically shook Ara's hand. "Hi! I'm Cara. I like to travel around and meet new people, so when I bumped into you guys, I asked if I could join. Travelling with a group of people is way more fun than travelling by yourself." Cara added, "I'm an entertainer." Cara was glad that at least one person here was friendly. One could never have too many friends.
  13. Cara walked back to her tent, fed her horse, and ate some fish and berries. After, she started to pack her things while softly humming a lullaby.
  14. Cara studied the Shadow. She wanted to get a good read on what he was really like, so she would know the best way to befriend him. Why was he covering his face? Was he cold? It didn't seem very cold, but some people tended to think even the slightest bit of wind was cold. I could probably talk to him on the way to where ever we are going, Cara thought. She'd also have to question the group about that bear attack. Seemed like it would make the perfect campfire story. She focused her attention back on The Shadow to hear his reply to Minuet's question.
  15. "A spy? No, of course not." Cara responded, hurt that so many people in this group have already labelled her untrustworthy without even trying to get to know her.
  16. "My name's Cara, and I just wanted to talk to him. What are you doing? Besides, talking to me."
  17. "I'm looking for The Shadow. Have you seen him?
  18. Cara woke up feeling energized. She was with a new group of people who would all eventually become her friends. When she talked with The Shadow, he didn't seem to like her very much, but she would soon change that. She began planning exactly how as she brushed her long caramel hair. Cara knew that at times she could be...persuasive, but that felt like cheating. Besides, friendship was based on trust. How could someone trust you if you messed with their emotions? As she left her tent, Cara's only idea was to talk to him. I just need to get to know him, Cara assured herself. By the end of the day, we'll be friends. Cara wove between tents, searching for The Shadow.
  19. Cara sighed, but didn't press further. If she was going with them, she would find out there destination eventually. Exhausted, Cara bid her horse goodnight, crawled in her tent, wrote in her journal, and finally drifted off to sleep.
  20. "Alright," Cara began to unload Felicity and set up her small one-person tent. "So, where are we going?"
  21. Cara zoned in on the names that Orpheus listed. She would remember them. She repeated the words over and over in her head until she thought she had them down good enough, which took a while. When she was done, she turned her attention back to..Orpheus. "Are we gonna set up camp here, or are we doing some midnight walking?"
  22. "Uh..." Cara paused, pondering the question. "Not very good." Cara admitted, "I can remember faces, but never their names. Not unless we're really close."
  23. "I'm The Floater! You can call me Cara. It is a pleasure to meet your acquaintance." Cara responded with a curtsy. "Nobody here seems to want to tell me their names." Cara continued, nodding toward Can'ttellyathatyet and the mostly leader. "Could you tell me yours?"
  24. Cara's eyes lit up, "Thanks!" She squealed, jumping up and down. She slowed, cocking her head, "So...where're we going? Can'ttellyathatyet, was very vague."
  25. "I do have a horse. Plus, she could carry some extra bags, can't ya, Felicity?" Cara added, stroking her beautiful black horse with black and white hair. Cara hoped their mostly leader would let her join. She hated being by herself. Usually it wasn't that hard to convince people to let her join them, but she got the distinct impression that he did not like her. Worried that he would deny her entrance in their group, Cara begged, "Please?"
