As much as I'm not a fan of this reasoning/I don't think Quinn asking about that is sus, this is giving me a village feel because I don't know if an elim would push this so hard. Idk tho.

Why does Elim!Mistborn!Archer link to me and TUO? I am not a big fan of how 3 people jumped onto voting Gears just because... he wasn't talking? I mean I get poke votes but that felt more like an attempt at a don't-exe-Archer countertrain. For that reason, Experience Archer.

I agree with this. Really? I'm playing more conservatively? I'm definitely posting less b/c I have a lot of homework that's due real soon. But if we're looking at meta (*cough*), how am I different than usual? (Also @ whoever mentioned it before because I missed that) Retweet. Honestly, it was mostly random for me, it just seemed like there was more "against" them. I haven't played a ton of games, but I've played enough to become jaded towards C1 votes. I was honestly considering moving my vote to Archer at the end but didn't have time to submit. It was basically an "eh, why not" vote... which isn't the best reasoning, I know. Okay. So. I have a tinfoilly Archer theory that doesn't contribute much so feel free to ignore it. BUT Archer voted on Striker, right? So if Archer's a Mistborn for one of the elim teams, then his fellow elims may have seen that as a signal and voted to NK Striker... Idk guys. I've been reading too much Agatha Christie lately so my brain is seeing connections where there probably aren't any. I agree with Matrim that voting people because they weren't on at the end of the cycle last time isn't a good idea. Also, I forgot to quote it, but yeah, Archer, I forgot you had more votes early on. Oops. So basically, I'm tinfoiling that at least one Mistborn voted on either Striker or Archer, I don't think voting on them does much good since they might be NK'd and the elims know for sure that they Archer or Striker are not on their team(s). Also, I'm not a Mistborn, not that that means anything coming from you. Anyway... Ventyl @Ventyl (This is a poke vote cuz I don't remember hearing much from them lately.)

I agree with Matrim that this is wrong; in fact, I'm pretty sure the fact that they tried to kill you points to the idea that the elims that voted for you weren't as active after the train on you started. I'm more curious as to why the elims voted these two in particular (or if it was just... everyone voted for someone different and it was RNG'd).

For the sake of clarity, I'm thinking of using e/i ("i" for imposters) to denote people being on different elim teams. So if we think people are on the same elim team, e/e, but on different, e/i. That's at least what I'll do here. Below are my thoughts written out for my own clarity. Confirmed: Archer/Striker are not e/e: Since elim teams can't vote out one of their own, Archer and Striker aren't on the same elim team. They could still be e/i. Also, because there's no doc and the elims can't vote out their own team, we don't have to worry about WGGs (I think so? Right?). Archer/Striker are either Thugs or Mistborn, or were protected by Lurchers: Striker has basically confirmed that they weren't protected by a Lurcher (could be lying, but idk), and it would be unlikely for two Lurchers (or even one) to successfully predict who the elim teams would kill. Quinn's reasoning on Archer seems sound to me, but I'm not confident about voting him. This is the point where, if one of them is Vin, I kinda wonder if they should claim in order to get protection from a Lurcher, since their extra life was just lost. Then again, that just ensures that the elims will keep trying to NK them, and we don't actually know if there are any village Lurchers. Or if there are multiple who will all try to protect them this cycle and then leave them defenseless the next. Idk. And I'm not getting anything strong enough to vote on yet, either.

To clarify, I voted on Stink because that will at least clear up everyone's theories somewhat and won't leave us questioning them in future rounds. But this is also C1 and there's just... Not much to go on for anybody, especially since the elims know only slightly more than we do.

Lol that's me catching up on everything right now XD I don't really feel like I have anything to contribute on the role analysis front since there's already been a lot said about that. I'm kinda leaning towards believing that the elim teams are of 3 or 4 each and for the sake of just-in-case overestimating, I'll probably assume 4 each. (Do the elim teams have to have the same number of players to start out with? There's nothing that specifically says that... hmm...) I wasn't a fan of how much elim strategy Gears' first post suggested, but since it was pre-written (idk if you've specifically said that but if you wrote that much in the first ten minutes then hats off to you!), that's NAI. Quinn's reasoning seemed solid enough to me, but so does Illwei's... idk, there's definitely not a lot to go on yet. Because I think Quinn/Illwei both have good points: Stink

Okay. So. Reads & such. I was going to reply to other people's posts and I may still, but idk. Going over Illwei's posts last night really burned me out, and I was thinking about going over other people's reactions to her, but I don't wanna anymore. As a note of explanation, some of these are based on gut, but I try to explain my reasoning as much as possible. @Quintessential: Pretty clear to me. She could have easily switched her vote off Illwei at the end of last round to at least force a tie/RNG. It could have been a bus, but honestly a bus on an imposter with two other votes? Doesn't make much sense when you could get a villager and bring us that much closer to exe-lo. That could give away the elim team maybe... but not as likely. Village. Ash/@Flyingbooks: Books really only posted asking for summary of what's happened, which kinda makes me sus. But I also don't remember anything from Ash striking me as off? Idk, I need more info. Null. @Gears: Was laying pretty low in earlier round, but mentioned a robotics conference yesterday (which is really cool by the way! I always wanted to try robotics but never got the chance). But that doesn't apply for the early rounds I don't think? Idk, something just feels different about your tone this game than in previous games. That's not necessarily AI, but my gut says Mild Elim. Orlok/@Condensation: I reeeeeally don't like Connie dancing around the whole claiming elim thing. I'm with Dannex on this, it doesn't do the village much good (and considering that Illwei, an elim, was one of the people who argued that it is useful for the village, I'm not inclined to believe that). Idk, I feel like in my last game(s?) with Connie, she was more helpful, and I don't know if this new chaos is village chaos or elim chaos. Mild Elim. @Dannex: One of the people Illwei threw sus on at the end of the round. I don't think that's AI. Illwei alternated between sussing/defending Dannex throughout different cycles. Then again, I don't think an elim would tunnel in on Bard or Connie as much as Dannex has. Mild Village. @Kings_way: I still stand by my earlier sus about how close of attention Kings was paying to the thread C1 while not contributing anything. I may have missed it, but I don't think they even gave a reason for that. They've continued to be pretty quiet and not contributing a lot. Mild Elim. @Shard of Reading: Illwei poke voted Reading twice in round one and questioned whether they were actually in the game or not. Nothing really stands out in my memory as weird with them, but I did think it was interesting that Illwei said "Reading is in the game, right?" when voting Reading the second time. Could've just been Illwei teasing, but could have also been Illwei jokingly poking at her fellow teammate. That's not really significant, sure... but why not. Null-Mild Elim. @Random Bystander: The other person Illwei threw sus on at the end of the round. Again, I don't think that's AI, and Illwei didn't mention or interact with Random much until towards the end of C3. Illwei ended with a vote on them, which could be an attempt at distancing, but I feel like Illwei would anticipate us seeing it as that. Null-Mild Village. @Young Bard: Illwei didn't interact with Young Bard much at all, and I'm not sure if that's because they were just less active or what. I mostly like their analysis post above, but I'm having a hard time remembering what they contributed before now. Null. Other random notes: - I think it's weird that Illwei brought up a 5-imposter team and then immediately dismissed it when I responded about it. I don't know if that means anything, but I always prefer to overestimate, rather than underestimate. (Oh how I long for my first game where we were told exactly how many imposters there were :P) - Illwei tagged 6 people towards one of her last posts: Connie, Random, Dannex, Kings, Shard of Reading, and Young Bard. I'm fairly certain that at least one of these six is an imposter, and Illwei may have tagged them to try to ping them so they'd save her because they weren't looking in the doc. The four that are still alive that weren't tagged are me, Quinn, Matrim, and Gears. Matrim was crew, I know I'm crew, I'm fairly certain Quinn is crew. Matrim, Quinn, and I all voted on Illwei, but I'm not sure why Illwei didn't tag Gears here. Was it because she stated right before that she was willing to vote Gears? Or cuz she knew he wouldn't be on? - Illwei sussed Dannex/Random at the end of last round, which I mentioned above that I don't think is AI. It's all an IKYK situation and doesn't matter too much, but she says that they didn't think she was sus but stayed on their other votes. That could be a way to clear them, but that could also all be an imposter strat to fake clear them. (I can't wait to read the elim doc after this game to see what in the world was happening last round. Were Illwei's teammates letting her down, or was this all some kind of crazy strategy?) Also, to this: You mean like Illwei did? XD I'm gonna try to keep up with this better... For now I'm going to throw a vote on Kings_way.

Also, last round, there were 12 of us, and only 7 people voted. It kinda stinks that two of the most active people are gone (although one of them was an imposter but still). I wanna see some more action. (I'm also reluctant to start a PM with someone who may not respond so idk what to do there either). So, summary of Illwei's actions. Yeet. (Because this is how my brain works, each post will be condensed down to one sentence, so periods separate different posts technically). Bolded things are ones that caught my eye, but don't go by those I probably missed some things. Cycle 1: Cycle 2: I had a PM with Illwei during round 2, but we didn't talk a whole lot. She mentioned that she was trying to find out who Archer PM'd, which we know now was nobody, and that she was confused by the interactions between Matrim/Quinn, but didn't think they were e/e. I brought up that I thought it was weird that Gears wasn't very active, but she mentioned he'd been active in the LG. Cycle 3: That was a whole lot and my brain is muuuuush. I'll probably do an actual reads post tomorrow and analyze this stuff, but right now I need to use the sleeps. Pardon any typos it's 2 am grammar no longer exists. Someone else do some talking tonight please? @Flyingbooks: As a pinch hitter, what are your thoughts so far? @Gears @Kings_way @Shard of Reading: None of you have voted yet (or at least not had a vote that made it to the final count).
