Okay, thanks. Just wanted to double check.
-
Sorry, I should have clarified. If they get exed, would we be told that they had an Aviar? Since the Aviar doesn't protect from the exe, right?
-
Okay, so my scatterbrained summary/commentary on the game so far (there's not a whole lot of substance but y'know): - The hospital is sabotaged, so the doctor is just in there by themselves. (@Doctor, I think an Aviar with powers similar to tin would be cool, that enhances your senses/makes you more aware of your surroundings. As for suggestions about what you could talk about... You could say which Brandon Sanderson character you think each of us would be! XD). The Aviar holding area was sabotaged this time so anybody with Aviar is now vulnerable. I believe we get the Brig back next round? Correct me if that's wrong though. BrightEyes was a security officer and died, so hopefully there's another security officer, or else the brig won't do us much good. - Illwei was an imposter. So if we're right about 4 imposters, then there are still 3 left. (@Quintessential: You had a Illwei/Bard/Ash/Kings imposter team theory last round, what are your thoughts on that now that Illwei's flipped elim?) Illwei was also a messenger and I think someone called that in C1? I'm going to reread through all of Illwei's posts in isolation in a bit but there's a lot of them. - For more detailed summary of everybody's posts, Ashbringer did a nice post here and Shard of Reading also did a post-by-post summary of C1 here. Also, as a side note, @Straw, if someone has an Aviar, would it say so in the write-up?
-
Third of the Dawn smiled, glad that the group had successfully removed one of the Saboteurs. "For the Thirds!" Guuuuuys we actually got one!! Ngl, Illwei almost had me there at the end, I nearly switched off there at the end. I gotta go reread Illwei's posts now, especially from before she was under suspicion. Welcome to the game! Unless somebody else jumps in before me, I can give you a detailed-ish summary in a couple of minutes. Edit: But also someone please post cuz I don't wanna double post
-
Ugh but this kinda makes sense. But also if the elims/your hypothetical team haven't done much this whole time, then why would they start now? Idk what to think anymore.
-
You were one of my top 2 elim reads?? At least of the people on the chopping block. I don't understand why that's not a good enough reason to vote you, and also... You say little resistance but there are a lot of people who didn't want to switch to you when Quinn asked. That seemed like resistance to me. Which is what's annoying me is because everyone keeps associating me with everyone else. TUO round one, and then Quinn and Illwei this round/some the previous round. I just don't understand why people keep pairing me. It's frustrating and I don't know how to argue against it other than saying I'm not connected with them. And the resistance thing is weird to me because before I voted on Illwei, it was just you and Mat. Then I voted and now there's not enough resistance? Idk. It's weird. This makes me more suspicious of Illwei so I guess I'm leaving my vote there. I guess if I die, at least I won't have this as an excuse to procrastinate, but I'm village and when I flip village, that doesn't clear any of the multiple people I've been paired with.

Okay, so I'm trying to get caught up, but there's a lot that happened since I last got on. I like Ash's summary post a lot (and I'm sorry to see you go ) and Quinn's analysis post provided a lot of food for thought, too. I kinda agree that we need to condense votes, so I'm going to give my reads on the people up for the eject. Also, Among Us language cuz I feel like it. Quinn: I know it's not really alignment indictive, but I feel like Quinn has been too helpful to be an imposter. This is mostly gut, but Mild Crewmate. Connie: I agree with Dannex that claiming imposter isn't helpful to crew, so I always just ignore it. Connie could either be having fun as a chaotic crewmate or having fun as a chaotic imposter. It's NAI to me and I can't get a good read on Connie this round, so null I guess. Kings: Not a lot to go on here, but I still think it's odd that they weren't very active but were paying a lot of attention to the thread. Null-Very Mild Imposter. Illwei: I've decided I just can't read Illwei. My gut is very suspicious though and I just don't know why. But I don't trust my gut. But also a lot of people trust Illwei, which makes me suspicious. Mild Imposter. Random: Again, not a lot to go on. They've been vaguely active but not saying a whole lot. Right now, Mild Imposter. I don't know... I'm bad at this, and even worse when I haven't been keeping up with the thread. I'm going to vote on Illwei for now to spread things out less. But I need to reread things this weekend.

I can confirm that yes, I did have a PM with TJ, and I definitely regret that I didn't ask for more information about their susses before rollover. Plus, they were my strongest village read. And yes, that soft claim was very soft, if you were meaning to claim. I almost didn't catch it. Gotta say, that hospital doc was convicting and I'm more determined now to avenge my fellow Thirds (even though I'm the worst at reads). I'm gonna reread TJ's posts and probably do another reads-on-everyone post, just for my own mental clarification but probably only after I get my homework done (so like midnight :P). Glad to have you in the game, Connie! Luckily there's only *checking* 12 pages to catch up on. 10.5 if you ignore the sign-ups.
-
It doesn't make much difference, but I think there were four votes on Quinn. I could have counted wrong though. Either way, I don't think many other people are going to jump on in the last thirty minutes.
-
I think we're way off of Bright Eyes and Quinn, because there hasn't been much resistance for either.
-
I think Quinn's ahead by a lot in the vote? @Straw? Which I don't like a whole lot. Maybe Quinn has me pocketed but their analysis posts just seem to village to me. BrightEyes has just been seeming off to me so I'll do that for now.
-
Your school has a team?? That's so cool! So you do competitions then?

I get what you're saying here, but I didn't say that I didn't vote for self-pres... double negative. I said that I voted for self-pres, but that there was more to it, too. I don't deny that it was partially self-preservation. Just that I was also a little suspicious of them. Yeah, that was pretty much why I did it. I'm getting frustrated by the lack of activity (which has recently gotten a little better but still). I really should have been more clear with my post, I guess. I went back through C1 and took notes on everyone's actions, and I just included the most notable actions in my post. That one could go either way (elim or suspicious crewmate) so I included it. Well, shaky village, but sure. I like the complicated tinfoil. XD I hate to say, but I do understand. Sometimes it just helps to know for sure. This strikes me as off. You're doing another role analysis (which doesn't really help us figure anything out, since we've already established that a lot of the roles could go either way, elim or village) and not really talking about what's happened? That just seems odd to me. Also, if you're looking for a summary, several people have put their thoughts on this page. In C1, TUO said that they thought there were 3-4 doctors. Dannex said they agreed, because they thought it would be weird to just have 1-2 docs in a doc by themselves. TUO disagreed with that part, saying a single-person doc wasn't unheard of. Matrim sussed TUO for discounting something that supported their own side. That's a pretty condensed summary. I actually thought everything was RNG? I didn't know that GMs could change stuff. I mostly was thinking that one of the more active people was an elim because of the conflicting opinions everyone had. There's a lot in your post, so if there was a comment on my post that you wanted me to answer, just point it out to me again. Quinn answered a lot of these too while I was writing this, so if it's repeating what she said... sorry! Idk. I'm taking my vote off Matrim. I keep getting ninja'd so I'm going to post this and come back with a vote after I get caught up. I may join in on the BrightEyes vote because while I really like their RP, something about it is off to me. I have a lot of homework due tonight so I may be keeping an eye out on here, but @ me if you really want me to see something, since I probably will be skimming more. Edit: @Straw Can we get a vote count?
-
I'll be honest, I'm starting to wonder that too...
-
That's awesome! So did you start out doing outdoor climbing? I just went on my first outdoor climbing trip last week, but it was so much fun! That counts to me! I climb trees when I can't find rocks to climb!
-
Okay, I'll try to explain things better. That post was combine of actual facts I found and gut/vibes I was getting from people. So some of it is just subjective, but yes. I also want to clarify that my above post is based solely off of C1. I have yet to compare those reads to this cycle (which I probably should have done first to include, but oh well). So I was talking about the end of last cycle when I mentioned you were getting more defensive, because you weren't on the chopping block then. You were mostly defending your logic then, though, which is partially understandable, but seemed different from your previous plays (not that I've seen much of that, at least). I get that. My sus of you was mostly due to your vote-hopping, cuz you're right, there really hasn't been much to analyze. Okay, so for the difference between BrightEyes and Random Bystander: Bright Eyes didn't do much, but their RPs actually touched on what was actually happening in thread. Random Bystander's posts had a lot less substance to them. That one was also more of a gut on Random Bystander. For you, it was either Null or Null-Village, I just went with Null because I'm not that confident. I agreed with you that Matrim's focus on the whole thing with TUO was weird, but I didn't know if it was necessarily elimmy. I really should have clarified that most of mine were gut reads. Bard is a gut read, and I feel like an elim would have paid more attention and not messed up on the Archer thing. Actually, when I voted on TUO, it was tied between us (I can link to that if you want me to), and, like I said, I didn't vote solely for self-preservation. The reason for the "nearly identical descriptions" is because I had more notes, I just condensed down, and some of it was more on gut reads. If you guys want me to post my whole notes in here, I can, but it's chaotic. I mean, I also mentioned that you were harping on TUO for disagreeing with Dannex (which you've already explained but still gave me bad vibes). Basically, you three (Quinn, Illwei, Matrim) have been the most active, and I'm pretty sure at least one of you is an elim... I'm just not sure which yet. Other than that, it's mostly gut reads based on rereading their posts. Maybe that's suspicious, I'm just trying to give us something to go off of, and hopefully other people will start posting more/more detailed. I'm voting on Matrim for now, because I agree, we need to condense votes. (Edit: Illwei took her vote off Matrim while I was typing so... not helping condense anymore...) And, I know it means absolutely nothing coming from me, but I am village.

Okay, so I reread C1 (thanks for only 4.5 pages to go through ), and it... just made me more suspicious of everyone. But anyway, I just have everyone listed in the order they entered the thread and with the number of their posts (roughly because I kept getting distracted) in parentheses after their name. Idk if that would help anyone else, but I figured I'd leave those in. Matrim, Quinn, and Illwei were the most active out of everyone by faaar. Matrim (24): Very active. Gut read Quinn as elim and didn’t like everyone focusing in on Bard missing Archer’s post. Harped a lot on TUO for disagreeing with Dannex about the possibility of a single doc in the hospital doc. Matrim seemed village to me early on, but their later posts seemed a lot more defensive. Mild Elim. Quintessential (20): Vote hopped a lot, but didn’t do a lot of analysis, especially for the number of posts. Null-Mild Elim. Illwei (24): Some good analysis/speculation. Thought (probably correctly) Dannex/TUO were overestimating roles. Didn’t like Matrim’s vote on TUO and thought they were elimmy. A lot of vote-switching. Null. Archer (3): Dead, presumably the elim kill/villager. Only voted Orlok early on as a poke/joke vote. Mostly did analysis and mentioned their PM buddy as vanilla. Could have died for something in PMs, but possibly just because they were somewhat active but not likely to get voted off, which is more likely IMO. Ashbringer (4): Some RP, said they're busy in blue text, and did a little analysis of the me vs. TUO voting, but didn't vote. Could be a way to avoid having a voting record, but not really much to go on. Null. Dannex (9): Guessed at role distribution/definitely overestimated some, like most of us. Voted on Bard early on because they missed the Archer post, but didn't really say much after that. Null. Gears (1): Did one very long role analysis/ship part analysis/summary of the previous posts. Not a fan of the large amount of discussion centered around what would be most beneficial to sabotage, because that seems most helpful for the elims, but I'm also not sure an elim would post that in thread. Null-Mild Elim. Young Bard (4): Missed Archer's post and poke voted, but switched to Random Bystander when Quinn reminded them. Read Matrim as village and voted on TUO. Null-Mild Village. Bright Eyes (3): Laid pretty low, mostly RPing and didn't say a lot about what was happening. They asked for a vote count at the end but didn't vote. Null. TJ Shade (4): Emphasized that they thought fewer roles. Provided some semi-detailed reads on a couple different people. Mild Village. Random Bystander (3): Laid very low, one RP post and a couple other posts with not much substance. Null-Mild Elim. The Unknown Order (12): Dead/Village. Voted Matrim mostly due to gut and voted me for self-preservation, but didn't really mention any other suspicions. Kingsway (3): Laid very low, but was paying enough attention to mention that Reading hadn't posted in response to Illwei's vote. Null-Mild Elim. Shard of Reading (1): Didn't jump on until the every end, didn't really post much, and didn't vote. Null. Orlok (0): Nothing to go on, may get switched out by the inactivity filter. Null. Also, I'm totally down to use crewmates/imposters instead of vill/elim this round, because this is very Among-Us-y. That took way longer than it should have and now my brain hurts. This is for you, my fellow Thirds! I honestly don't have strong reads of anyone, with Matrim as my top sus and then the people who were laying low (Kingsway, Random Bystander, maybe Shard of Reading). I humbly invite pushback against this cuz I'm well aware that I know nothing.

Third of the Dawn awoke that morning to find two of the crew dead... and her two fellow Thirds. Guilt overwhelmed her, as she knew she was partially responsible. "I will avenge you, my friends," she whispered, her gaze hardening. "If I die in the process, I will be united with you in the afterlife." Okay, I definitely have some suspicions, but I'm going to reread C1, see if I'm just misremembering things, and come back with my reads. I don't think it's that crazy for there to only be one doctor, but Orlok as an inactive doctor would make sense too. I guess if they get replaced and another doctor suddenly appears we'll know for sure. What were your reasons for pairing the two of us again?
-
-
Okay, so I'm voting Unknown Order, partially for self-preservation, but mostly because I don't like their reasoning for the vote on Matrim. Also, let it be known that I don't like people pairing me and Unknown Order together, especially since the only reason for that is Unknown Order voting for the person who voted me. That seems like exactly the kind of thing we would avoid if we were elims, since it draws attention (as we've seen).
-
I thought that you two were arguing about something? Maybe I'm getting things mixed up, I'll have to go reread things when I have more time.
-
You're right, that is weird, but if Unknown Order and I were elims, wouldn't that be too obvious? I know I'm village, so I read that vote more as a continuation of Unknown Order's earlier suspicions. I definitely get how my post could sound a little sus or hedge-y. I think it's mostly because I'm an indecisive person, but I'm trying to be a little less timid and jump into things more on here. Take that as you will, I guess, but I still don't have any solid susses yet. Also, Kings_way posted, so I'm removing my poke vote (even though it was more of an "I exist" post than a contribution).
-
Yaaaay only a couple of pages to catch up! I also completely forgot that this game has semi-open-ish PMs until rereading the thread. XD I kinda like this reasoning, but I also know how many times I've missed someone's post, especially if it's a shorter one like Archer's. I don't know how Straw usually is when GM-ing, but I don't think 5 is too ridiculous of a number. That would still be 11 vs. 5, which doesn't seem too bad if the elims don't have a lot of Aviar or more powerful roles. I'm not a huge fan of throwing out votes randomly... but I also don't feel the need to tiebreak as much since ties don't kill everyone this round. So... @Kings_way Kings_way hasn't shown up yet.
-
"The Three Musketeers!" Third of the Dawn grinned. "Let's stick together, shall we?" I forgot this was starting today! It will certainly be a nice distraction from homework, although hopefully not as much as the last QF.

I love bouldering, but I've only been rappelling once! I'd like to try that again. I would love to climb in the chasms! That was honestly the main one I was thinking of.
