  1. 9 votes are required for Amyrlin Seat. Well, if anyone makes a plan, let me know who to vote to get the right person Stilled I generally find it's true. Why does he seem genuine to you? What about that makes him town? Why do you want an Amrylin Seat here? I read it as e/e theatre.
  2. Ngl I find people who know others very well out of game struggle to read each other well. What makes you trust him? Don't think we should elect Amrylin Seat here, and I do not trust anyone enough to elect right now. I'm a bit scared of Joe actively campaigning (and do not think "well an elim wouldn't do that/draw attention to themself like that" applies here given that they win iirc? if an elim is elected in and survives getting deposed or something like that. So it's very pro-wincon for them). No Vote Fine with that (I have no idea how the Still stuff works). I do think TwinStorm is Just An Elim very strongly rn but agree with you on TUF and think he is likely an elim. Would reconsider TwinStorm if e!TUF off of how likely an entire Ajah being elims would be. I'm currently liking my Ajah friends and have been considering if my Ajah team is pure, which would raise the chances of that a bit more, I suppose. To me it is kind of weird to put three elims in an Ajah with a separate doc together (like... they're already in a doc together anyways lol, I've never seen that before - usually 1-2 elims + 1-3 town in a 3 person group), but it would be funny if true. A BridgeBoi / TwinStorm pairing is looking really nice right now though, smh.
  3. ^ yay VCs Likely 3-4 left. I expect it was 4-5 originally, although 6 is not too wild here, it's just um. Hopefully not the case because I think 33% of the game being elims is potentially problematic given the way this setup works in my opinion, which is not the GM's opinion, so. It's possible. I am currently at BridgeBoi / TwinStorm / TUF having at least one elim and that is my current PoE. Drake can be thrown into my extended PoE. Think Kas, Sart, The Wandering Wizard, and Terrisman are town. Everyone else shrugs. I think this post from KelsierApologist is uh. A bit e/e with TwinStorm in my opinion because it is very theatre-y: "Twinstorm, stop trusting me. I don’t trust you and it’s making me feel bad" looks like blatant theatre. Will say that my initial expectations of elims should've cared more given that an elim was in danger is maybe not always correct here, given I am used to chaotic EoDs where this would be a more obvious threadstate feeling vs here where elims may have just... not shown up (especially given that KelsierApologist doesn't show up to vote again, even though there was the self-pres on Kas that was available and within KelsierApologist's reads). Do think bussing is still very possible and I'm hesitant to clear too many people on the wagon for their votes rn. Edit: irt e/e theatre with TwinStorm - it's also very theatre-y because e!KelsierApologist can just pocket v!TwinStorm there (although I'm not sure if I should be assuming KelsierApologist would be aware of this - it's just not really how I expect an elim to approach a townie in that situation, and is very out of place imo).
  4. Nice, makes for some nice VCA. Fairly likely an elim bussed imo? KelsierApologist felt like designated yeet closer to end of day with the way threadstate was heading fmpov at least, which is why I had some concerns with KelsierApologist flipping town for the way elims did not seem to care much about that being the elimination. There was always an elim in Kas voters at some point, and particularly when KelsierApologist was initially in danger, I imagine. And now I have to manually figure out when this would be smh... TwinStorm should probably die now lol. I have like two points of hesitance on this but that is my initial thought on a skim, and going off of when I would expect v!Kas wagon to be under more pressure. Is there any benefit to voting for the Amyrlin Seat right now? Otherwise, I'm inclined to not for tonight, especially since an elim died. You'll probably not want to hear about how day 1 elim kills often lead to town losses...
  5. I don't mind Drake vote (I say as I watch Ashbringer unvote Drake, rip). Took a look through Drake's posts and nothing stands out - I have vague worries about e!Drake pocketing v!Kas in this post. I am fairly strongly townreading Kas right now without having truly looked through most of his posts - this and this are both very towny to me. The quick reaction on his read on TUF imo is very towny. Probably leaving my vote since Kas isn't in much danger with 5-3 wagons, and I would probably consider votes on Kas here as uh, extremely wolfy (fwiw I have a problem with finding people who I disagree with being wolfy that I'm working on, but I will say it is funny how I don't like any of the three voting Kas, and I still strongly believe TwinStorm is likely a wolf lol). Last minute vote switches in general are probably to be looked at closely anyways, especially in this situation. Kind of worried KelsierApologist is town for wagon reasons rn (I'm paranoid, don't ask me how many times I've been wrong on a read like this ), but I do not want Kas going over. Gl gl.
  6. BridgeBoi can't get eliminated or something like that, so I don't really care about any of those slots right now. Will say I was squinting a bit at BridgeBoi's post. Just didn't care to note it. Shrugs. Thought about it and partially agree (mostly with the last sentence), but not enough for me to look past my initial reason for finding TwinStorm wolfy. It's not towny, it's just not wolfy to me. Kas looks fairly obvious town to me in recent posts lol and I literally see zero good points against him. I would also vote anyone on Kas wagon right now easily, so that's a bonus. Didn't mention it earlier, but Ashbringer had a good point about light chainsaw defense coming up (the whole attack the voter who is voting your elim partner term. Whatever it is called.) when voting Drake and I'm probably fine with an elimination there, it's just a bit more of a shot in the dark for me, having literally not processed any of Drake's posts. Don't know when rollover is (I had it written down as in an hour? But I see thread topic would make it 2 hours from now), but I'd probably vote to save Kas right now.
  7. Would vote between TwinStorm or KelsierApologist right now. That reads post slightly pinged me, but sometimes that's just the way newer ish players write readlists and I am uh, not known for my ability to read new players. TwinStorm did an incredibly wolfy thing taking Gaea's read and using it as a reason to push Kas, and I am much more concerned about that right now. Will say TwinStorm/KelsierApologist being doc friends does make me a little less concerned in a way I can't articulate (it's idk, raising the chances of two town together rather than one being an elim jumping on the other's reasoning - but both are already bandwagoning off of someone else's push so it's not much of a change). Did you talk about your suspicions together in private?
  8. I can't help but read this as a perspective slip lol. Townies tend to be paranoid. Very paranoid. Especially in a doc - you've essentially got a difference check (e/v) in your Ajah a lot of the time since there are likely 4-5 elims, and there are 6 teams of 3, insert statistics or something here. It is very natural to be paranoid of your Ajah buddies lol (I'm currently concerned about mine, because I lean town on one but do not on the other, and now have to consider if this is a world where there are three town in an Ajah together, or if the one I'm not townleaning is potentially likely an elim because I find the other one towny). Townies do like finding people to trust. It is not naturally going to happen with their Ajah buddies imo, and (for me at least) there is likely more paranoid over Ajah friends than over other people in the game. Now, the reason why this is a bit of a concerning line of thought to me is because elims tend to overassume how townread a slot is, and tend to bleed TMI when they believe someone is very towny. Townies are paranoid because they do not have TMI and they don't have all the answers. Elims have TMI and know if someone is town or not.
  9. I'm not sure I follow your point here - what about this do you find elim indicative?
  10. Understandable, I get that irt the full picture making you suspicious. I think it's natural to be a bit paranoid of thread leaders anyways so I can understand where you're coming from. You're um. Doing something insanely wolfy by taking Gaea's point and using it to further a push on Kas, rather than having your own reason. You've even used Gaea's wording "control of the convo". I'd like you to try to elaborate on this as much as possible here. I understand vibe reads and the full picuture seeming wolfy, but as someone who is known for "lol I don't explain my reads" to a lot of people, I often find there's still a specific post I can find that I can say pinged me, even if I can't articulate why I found that post wolfy, and I'd like if you could skim through Kas's posts again and let me know if you feel this way about a certain post.
  11. It's generally a town trait in my experience. It requires a certain kind of elim to be able to pull off performances like that and survive until endgame, which I don't generally see (although tbf here - I play mostly with people who bus a lot, because bussing is ez). In your post you mention: Which I was curious on why you were leaning towards this being the case over it being a townie putting in a lot of effort and being more vocal in thread (the way I've seen v!Kas do before - tbf I've never seen e!Kas and don't know his range). I understand reading off of vibes and instincts (I do that a lot too), but generally it's possible to pinpoint a reason behind why specifically you're feeling this way, even if it's just a specific post you point at and are like "wow this is wolfy", which is what I was trying to get you to elaborate to. I'm also curious on your mental picture of Kas's wolf range, but that's a whole different question I'm not sure how to phrase or go about talking about rn. You just did two things that pinged me quite a lot Can you elaborate on this more? Are there any posts specifically making you feel this way, especially irt the tone part? What makes you think the bolded part?
  12. That is generally a town trait and I'm not sure why you're attributing it to being an elim fmpov - is there anything Kas has said that makes you lean that way specifically? If you could expand on your read here in more depth, that would help me figure out your thought process behind this. Thoughts on others who have been more vocal in the thread and have more presence?
  13. Hello! I'm likely going to be taking this game fairly light. I tend to use a lot of heavy terminology that basically no one here understands, so if any of my many confusing terms (that I'll try to remember to not use) are confusing to you, feel free to @ me with many question marks. I apologize in advance for when I inevitably forget If you aren't already aware, my reading comprehension is slightly nonexistent, and I have an aversion towards reading long posts, so sometimes I'll comment on something and it will make zero sense and you can refer back to this for why. (Chances are I missed the most important sentence while reading and took everything in a different context) I skimmed through most of the setup stuff and was entirely confused with a lot of the mech talk going on while looking through thread. Mech is not something I'm good at figuring out and honestly not something I'm interested in figuring out right now (side effect of lacking reading comprehension). You're free to give me a tl;dr on the important stuff if you want, otherwise I will remain blissfully oblivious for the time being. I subscribe to "lol mech, just kill elims". I have read (ish) through n0 and d1. Thoughts: ThatOneWorldhopper reaction here I'd probably read as town. this from A Jo in the Bush is a good post. I'm used to 17p games being 4 elims and I've seen 4 or 5 elims for 19p, so I would like to assume it's around there in terms of numbers. I probably wouldn't be surprised if there are 6 elims given what I've been told about balancing here. this from Terrisman is probably town lol. this from TwinStorm is generally wolfy (elim-y?) imo. I really only explain things if I feel like explaining so have fun with this for now
