  1. Idk I just try very hard to kill elims But fair point. I was under the impression that something about succession meant that you'd likely have to kill all the elims anyway. In terms of the claim, tbh why would he feel the need to save himself there? That's not my issue with you right now. My issue is you've done nothing in terms of solving. I get not wanting to do big analysis posts and all that, which is fair, but doing absolutely zero solving and dodging when asked questions related to the game? That's elim behaviour. Can you expand on these a bit more?
  2. I had a thought about Hoid Slayer not committing to reads due to still being lost tbh. Hoid Slayer last posted 2 hours to EoD on day 3, where wagons were tied 2-2. Possibly just didn't think it was needed, given Divergent was (at the time) not self-pressing, and Fura sniped Divergent in the last two minutes. I don't think I'd clear Hoid Slayer for not defending Divergent there, both because of lost wolf stuff, and because SE is sort of just like that where I don't think it's smart to make a read on that due to lower average activity here. I think Hoid Slayer's lack of solving is pretty much just always an elim lol. I'd expect more from v!Hoid Slayer, given it's day 5.
  3. First for being something I wouldn't expect an elim to say to another elim in thread. Second for light defense of flipped elim, suggesting to not vote there. And third, I don't know what you mean.
  4. 16 player game means probably 3-4 elims, I skimmed the setup a little too much to determine if it's more likely one way or the other. So likely 1-2 elims left. 6 v 2, 7 v 1, or I suppose some off chance of 5 v 3. TwinStorm/Argenti is probably not a pair, based on late day 4 (this specifically, and also the votecount) (and from day 3 this is probably never a pair). Booknewt was towny day 4 and day 3 (I'm reading the game backwards rn). Also doesn't give bussing vibes day 3 so I'm comfortable with her being town. Hoid Slayer seems to like avoiding thread and giving excuses for a lack of analysis, which I've noticed both across all of day 4, today, day 3, and the couple posts I read from day 2. Pretty different from what I remember of Hoid Slayer in previous games. The amount of excuses is very elim-coded lol. Hoid Slayer spends a lot of time on day 3 spending posts on questions that don't seem to lead anywhere. Also this is pretty bad. Unless Kas/Argenti are paired, d3 e!Kas could've avoided bussing Divergent by voting Argenti (or really anyone). This might not make sense because of lost wolf stuff but eh I'm just going to ignore it because mech is my downfall. Points in favor of Kas. Not sure if I'm going to read into Divergent's self-pres on Argenti. Didn't get a solid read on ToW or Doc while reading overall thread, aka they didn't stand out in any way. Probably looking at Hoid Slayer + [ (TwinStorm/Argenti), ToW, Doc ] right now. I think I'm going to throw Kas and Booknewt into the not worrying about right now group. Kas looked fine on a skim, I got the impression he's disconnected from several people, and Booknewt is just towny. Wary about writing off Kas too soon, but even in worst case worlds, we should have space to do so today. Unless there's kp I'm unaware of. I do think Hoid Slayer is pretty much a textbook elim for not solving and doing a lot of floating around and giving excuses when pushed to solve. Ftr. Discuss. Anyways, hi
  5. I'll pinch hit.
  6. Mm, as if I would need to do that if I'm an elim, honestly. I'm not towncasing myself at this point because reading the game is free and has the answers to those who are like me and get irrationally paranoid all the time, but I will find it incredibly amusing if we somehow lose here.
  7. e!me would've submitted a NK. Assuming there is nothing in play at this point in the game that could've prevented a NK, you would have to explain why e!me wouldn't submit a NK there. I'm fine with ending the cycle early
  8. Yeah I'm good with that. xinoehp
  9. Yay we're good at the game! From reading a bit of the setup, NK isn't mandatory judging by wording, so yeah that points a lot to a TOW/xinoeph team for inactivity. From how I'm understanding the gods voting with majority thing, if Iced had voted me, it would've been 4 votes for me and I would've died? If that's the case, Iced is always town because e!Iced would've won last cycle by voting me, since in that case v!xinoehp was voting me, and they just needed one town to misvote to win. Didn't even occur to me before lol. I was already of the opinion that Iced wasn't an elim bussing TOW anyway. Lightweaver gives someone a second vote, so in the event we miss today, technically we're fine as long as town gets the Lightweaver vote thing (since elims win past parity). Then we only lose if either the elim gets the Lightweaver vote thing or if the person who was supposed to get it dies. I think. But that's complicated and I think winning today sounds like a much better plan
  10. Yeah but Iced isn't with TOW like 98% of the time, so xinoehp is the best vote today. TOW/xinoehp always hits an elim at the very least, and I think Iced isn't an elim. So we should be fine?
  11. If you're town technically it doesn't matter because both TOW and xinoehp are elims. I think it covers the e!you worlds but idk I'll go off on a paranoia spree if I think too much about it. If Doc thinks it's better then yeah, otherwise this is fine. It's occurred to me that there's some tiebreak rule I'm not aware so uh yeah it might not even matter lol.
  12. The thing is that it would be very weird to be in a world where Iced/TOW were elims together both on the fact that TOW and CD bussed Iced really hard for no reason day 4, and because they probably would've just won if all of them had stacked on the town in Iced/xinoeph slot/TOW. TOW trying to move last second is really throwing me off though I think. Idk I've already forgotten what happened specifically enough to logic it out properly lol. If it's Iced/TOW, then: Kaladin's Sense of Humor (1): Iced Out Penguin Iced Out Penguin (3): Coder Dragon, That One Worldhopper, Willshaper the Resolute Coder Dragon (3): Doc 12, Amanuensis, Truthwatcher the Learned Why don't they just stack on KSOHS? Especially because iirc Aman was voting there earlier. Instead, CD voted Iced. And yeah your math should be right, they should've been able to win on a miselim last cycle, so bussing like this doesn't make much sense. TOW tried to move to KSOHS which, if I squint enough, means I could see this world, but I think the elims would've had enough reason to avoid voting Iced all day because v!Aman had voted v!KSOHS earlier. If it's xinoeph/TOW: Kaladin's Sense of Humor (1): Iced Out Penguin Iced Out Penguin (3): Coder Dragon, That One Worldhopper, Willshaper the Resolute Coder Dragon (3): Doc 12, Amanuensis, Truthwatcher the Learned This makes way more sense at a glance, at least. The confusing part is why would e!TOW would try to move off of voting town to vote an elim. And if it's xinoeph/Iced: Kaladin's Sense of Humor (1): Iced Out Penguin Iced Out Penguin (3): Coder Dragon, That One Worldhopper, Willshaper the Resolute Coder Dragon (3): Doc 12, Amanuensis, Truthwatcher the Learned This works because that means they were forced to bus. TOW trying to move last second makes sense from a v!TOW standpoint when I think about it, actually more than in e!TOW worlds. Ngl I have not looked at this world enough and now I'm worried I should've. That aside, I have reasons to find Iced unpaired with a TOW/CD team, and I have reasons to find a TOW/xinoeph team unlikely. Socially, I had slight town pings for Iced and KSOHS/xinoeph slot. Anyways. Current VC should be: Aeternum (3): That One Worldhopper, Xinoehp512, Willshaper the Resolute That One Worldhopper (3): Doc12, Iced Out Penguin, Aeternum e!Iced is bussing this cycle unless wagons are just v/v in which case actually just rip atp and now I think this is really possible. e!TOW is voting town, e!xinoehp is voting town, on a cycle where they just need to elim town to win. That works because e!Iced shouldn't be voting e!TOW here, so it's either Iced/xinoeph or TOW/xinoeph. Ngl Iced wanting me to just vote TOW is now making me really paranoid of elims knowing they've already won if wagons stay like this, but I think it's too late to fix things if TOW is town here, because v!TOW would be currently misvoting and elims just stack on my wagon and win regardless of TOW wagon moving (because Iced is an elim in this world). Correct vote is xinoehp this cycle, not TOW, if my logic makes sense. Oops. Oh well! TMI = too much information, aka the fact that elims know who is town and who is elim, whereas town has no idea. Which means elims know when they're wrong, and when they're right, which affects the way they see the game. F3 is final 3, I usually use it to refer to do or die situations (for f3 that would be 2 town vs 1 elim). Currently we're in F5, or at least I've been assuming that lol. I don't know if elims win at parity (aka we guess wrong today and lose instantly), which is what I'm used, or if it's past parity so they'd need a successful NK to win if we were wrong today. Side note, I'm getting so much site lag rn.
  13. Iced leading voting on CD last cycle is, without context, a good look. The only way I'd reconsider this being a good look is if CD was up for elim the day before, because it could be bussing. I have no idea whether that's something Iced would do ngl. Could just be xinoehp512/TOW lol. I think that indicates an elim team of mostly newer players, which would explain a lack of distancing and pretty pairing stuff. When Iced votes CD, they all immediately vote there together, which is not exactly the best idea for elims, but I could see a team of newer players doing something like that. Especially so late into the game. This post from CD is also just a terrible look for all three of them since CD flipped elim lol. The level of defensiveness is very unpairing with Iced, and it's probbaly indicative that one of TOW/xinoeph slot is an elim with CD. If they were e/v/v CD doesn't react like that imo. I'm pretty comfortable calling Iced unpaired with CD, aka I townread Iced, based on the resulting back and forth. Tbf I think this post from KSOHS/xinoeph slot can be town sometimes, but the defense of CD is something I don't really like. CD and TOW voted in the same minute on KSOHS/xinoeph slot is really funny. Idk how much I read into TOW then moving back a couple minutes later while saying "I didn't see Coder's vote" because I can imagine a scenario where it's theatre or a miscommunication. CD then voting Iced a minute later is also really funny if they're all elims together. Guessing TOW's final post didn't count, but that's... an interesting post? It almost made me want to think that the team is probably not TOW with KSOHS/xinoeph slot ngl, until I checked the alive players list. Weird to move off of likely a town slot to vote an elim partner while trying to appeal last minute to v!Aman and save CD. Like if you're bussing there, don't you just bus CD lol. Doc is confirmed town (if I say IC that's the same thing), and I didn't read the setup so uh I'll just assume the game isn't bastard. Iced/TOW/CD is probably never the team judging by CD's reactions to Iced and the final VC. I will say that I had light pings on Iced having potential TMI and bussing, so I don't really feel confident enough in v!Iced to lock in the other two as the team. Iced can be bussing because of TMI, especially because of the way the final VC ended yesterday. The thing is that I don't really think e/e CD/Iced talk to each other like that last cycle, and TOW was also aggressive towards Iced in a usually not e/e way. Not confident enough in a solve either way, I probably place Iced as likely to not be an elim though, because Iced/TOW/CD is a really weird team when they would've had to have done some weird bussing when it was a cycle they could've won on if they stacked (I assume? f7 yesterday?). TOW, because I think this slot should always be an elim regardless of who the final elim is. TOW is also just lacking curiosity and feels one dimensional in posting off of what I've read. I have trouble seeing a team in Iced/KSOHS rn, but I haven't really looked. Reading through cycle 3 now, because reading in the correct order is overrated, this post from Iced ngl makes me want to lock Iced town. If you want my paranoia thoughts, there's a chance Iced is too TMI-y to be able to push my slot. Saying this because when I was a newbie elim, I was extremely TMI-y and I may or may not have killed my entire wolf team in some of my early games. One of TOW/KSOHS always flips elim based on CD's readlist here. Also literally how is anyone voting my slot atp lol. My slot is so unpaired from CD off of that post. I digress. I'm not reading cycle 1 and 2, I think I've seen enough and I got stuff to do. I'm feeling ok with voting TOW -> xinoeph/KSOHS slot here. I'll check my Iced and xinoeph/KSOHS slot reads later since elims have to bring me to f3 because I'm probably the only possible miselim rn. Sigh.
  14. I don't self-vote. I haven't read anything yet, I have absolutely zero idea what this setup is, but I'll try to post some thoughts in the next two hours when I have some time. Although it's not likely to matter if this is elims win at parity. I only agreed to sub in because I thought it would be really funny if I subbed in and immediately died a couple hours later , didn't realize it was lylo today. Unfortunately, my slot's inactivity means this probably is just a loss but oh well lol. If I had to guess, there's an elim voting me rn pretty much always because my slot is the designated miselim for today.
  15. Unfortunately, we don't! Of course, and thank you for putting up with all the abbreviations haha, I get complaints sometimes about my MU terminology because it gets confusing to other people.
  16. GGs! Losing to inactivity filter kind of sucks but it is what it is. Hope everyone had fun, and hopefully I'll see all of you in future games!
  17. v/v refers to both players mentioned being town. e/e same but both players being elims together.
  18. 1) Aeoryi has already mentioned she randomizes who is picked as elim. It is possible there are zero veterans on the elim team. 2) Town can be wrong. In fact, I am very, very good at being wrong. You can ask Pizza for my credentials on this. 3) You are saying here that because I am the only unflipped person on a dead town wagon, where there were two other town voting, I am always an elim for that. Which is just not how it works, especially because TOW wagon effectively became relevant at EoD. I already semi talked about VCA yesterday and the fact that e!me does literally not need to make another wagon there unless I'm exactly e/e with Iced (given wagons were me/Iced ish iirc), which... should be pretty obviously not possible atp given our treatment of each other. Not really in the mood to analyze anything rn, which is unfortunate in a 24/0 game. Atm think it's better to resolve in me/Iced today because if we're v/v that's probably just losing. @Booknewt LyLo is when town needs to vote correctly or lose. Dome is like saying one of us is always an elim and forcing other people to vote between us (it never works). @IcedOutPenguin if you're town, stop flailing and solve the game smh. It is very hard to figure out your alignment if you are not going to solve, and if you're town, ideally we find that out before you die.
  19. Ah I'm being accused of the crime of Being Wrong, which surely only elims would ever be able to do. Always amusing.
  20. I've read your post, Pizza. Go sleep now smh. IcedOutPenguin then rn, since I am a sheep and my current vote isn't doing anything.
  21. That's not always towny ngl. Easy to fake. But ok, I can understand that. Idk really how I feel about wagons rn. 6 pm.
