Power looks good! I hate to shoot down this part because I love the idea a lot, but unfortunately, I'm pretty sure that Epics kill off most of their family. Perhaps there's something similar to a protégé that would work? Fish kinda would murder everyone who ever knew him (good thing they would live in California, according to his backstory). If you can think of anything that would work, let me know. (Also you forgot to add a weakness! )

So I was thinking, and it seems that right now: How everyone perceives the power dynamic: Sundew --- Fish ----- Everyone else (or lower ) The actual power dynamic if you read closely about their powers: Sundew (Aeo and I agree she'd 1v1 Fish and win) --- --- Fish! ------ Everyone else (or lower) And so with that amazing visual representation, I'm giving Fish minor water manipulation to help him get back on Sundew's level (have you seen her character sheet? She has 4 powers, including a PI). Plus someone in the RP mentioned water and Fish and Fish affecting the water or something? So I figure it works out. It's not like he'd use it for much other than show or perhaps practical and helpful uses. Speak up now if you disagree or think Fish should be more powerful Sundew is from the RP where several extremely powerful Epics, including an assumer, managed to get approved, so she's on a way higher level. Fear Sundew Join Fish!

“Hm,” is all Fish says. It’s amusing how angry Plastique looked for a moment, until she clearly remembered that Fish is the strongest Epic in this city. It’s good to remind her of that now, before she causes any problems again. Now on the topic of that secretary. They had been quite inefficient recently. Fish considers for a moment before saying, “I don’t care what you do to the secretary. I’ll get a new one. You’re coming with me to meet with Sundew, for now.” Fish reasons that any backup is better than none, even if the backup is Plastique. ------------------------------------------- “Fish rules from the lake. You should stay away. There’s a storm brewing. You shouldn’t get involved. Fish isn’t too kind to those who get in his way.” The person says. Parry hasn’t heard of Fish before, but they don’t sound that scary by the way the person is talking. He thanks the person and continues walking. Ruling from the lake? How does that work? He guesses that he will find out soon enough. A couple turns later, Parry finds himself looking straight out at the lake, and at what appears to be a floating city. How’d that get there? He wonders to himself. As he gets closer to the shoreline, he notices a couple docks swarming with security guards. It’ll be hard to get to Fish, Parry determines. I’ll see if anyone else is around here first. He turns away from the docks and keeps walking deeper into the mainland part of the city.

Maybe the Lego Ninjago movie. I'm not really a movie person so I haven't watched very many. That's the only one I can think of off the top of my head! On a scale from 1 (very messy) to - 10 (super neat), how clean is your room right now?

“That’s one question answered, then. Do you have any jobs available for me?” Plastique seems very insistent on this point. Fish doesn’t have a job for her right now. In fact, isn’t she supposed to be off doing something for him? He can’t quite remember after all the other things that have happened today. “How about you go kill Ignis or do something more useful for me with your pathetic miserable sparking life, instead of just standing here annoying me?” After everything that’s happened today, Fish is about one second from slamming the door in her face. He probably wouldn’t, because Plastique is competent, unlike everyone else. Perhaps now she’ll even kill Ignis for him and knock down one of the other big factions that have been trying to take over his city. @Lunamor ------------------------------------------- “It's fine, I wasn't paying attention either. Sorry if I caused you any trouble. You seem new here, be careful who you walk into,” The person doesn’t seem too upset, which Parry is glad of. “Sorry to bother you, sir,” Parry ducks his head. “Would you mind pointing me in the direction where the ruling Epic here lives?” That would help him find someone who could hopefully protect him. In the last couple cities he visited, telling other Epics about his power had proved to not be a great idea. The power-hungry Epics in charge that either saw him as a threat or wanted to use him to take down their rivals, but Parry just wanted somewhere safe to stay where he could be protected from groups like the Reckoners. He hopes the Epics here will be nicer. @Lord Spirit

Was reading the old Reckoners RP (Edmonton reboot) and... my writing style has changed quite a bit? I can't figure out how to write like I used to, and I like the way I used to write. I think I've actually gotten worse at writing!
Glad to bring headers back to my RP characters as well

It’s funny, I think my rp style has greatly improved (it hurts to read some of the old stuff
) but my regular writing is honestly the same. I think the expanded Girl Who Looked Up I wrote back in 2019 is still my best work. I haven’t really managed to reach that level again, although my version of The Wandersail came pretty close in my opinion (*cough cough* shameless plug *cough cough*).
And the headers are super cool!

She's the only one arrogant enough to just saunter in like this, and she's always trying to get on his nerves. Fish thinks that her confidence is a good trait, as long as she stays loyal to him. He'll just kill her if she tries to do anything. Speaking of killing people… Fish looks over Plastique’s shoulder to check if his secretary is still there. Good thing they're gone, hopefully off to send a messenger to Sundew. Fish doesn’t really care if a messenger gets sent today. Sundew will find him as soon as he shows himself by her territory. He hates to play right into her hands like this, but it would do well for everyone to be reminded of his power. Regardless, Fish really isn’t in the mood to deal with Plastique. “You're currently bothering me,” He responds, crossing his arms. Now that she's here, Fish thinks he'll bring Plastique with him to meet Sundew. Actually no, that would probably end terribly, because in his opinion, Plastique never knows when to shut up. Fish simply tilts his head and waits for her response. @Lunamor ------------------------------------------- Parry has his head down, so he doesn’t notice the other person walking towards him. Parry doesn't like being noticed. He prefers to stay quiet and in the shadows, especially because he knows there are many Epics who would love to use him for his powers. He isn’t paying attention enough to where he is going, and accidentally bumps into the other person. Parry blinks and steps away, raising his hands placatingly. “I’m sorry sir, I didn’t see you there.” @Lord Spirit

@Lord Spirit @TheFrugalWizard I would highly suggest you change your most recent posts because of this. Especially because Aeo hasn't done anything with Sundew that would even suggest at her weakness. It simply doesn't make sense regardless. Not angry, just pointing it out! Character sheets are for reference, but your characters might not know every detail about a character. I'd say that if you're not sure how much the public would know about someone's character, I'd PM them and ask. Notably, Sundew is very hidden away, so not a lot of people would know about her powers, as Aeo somewhat alluded to in Aeo's post.

Sorry for double post but just in case!! Epic weaknesses generally aren't known unless the person has stated it's known. i.e I don't believe people know about Sundew's, and definitely not Fish's (he probably doesn't even know about his because he's allergic). I digress IN ADDITION I believe you're supposed to ask before using Epic weaknesses...? Aeo will have to confirm. Regardless, y'all ain't taking down Sundew this easily. And her weakness is fairly hard to guess in my opinion.
