Yes and yes! I think currently we have a faction for Phalanx, one for Sundew ( @Aeoryi WHERE IS SUNDEW), and one for Fish. The more the better! As long as y'know, there's not 80 big ones... If you add the changes to the character sheet I'll link it back to our list of characters (for ease of access) Don't worry, mine's based off of Duke Fishron Alright sounds good!

Hey, maybe Plastique can join Fish's faction! Or y'know, make one that's against his faction... Whoohoo! I had a lot of fun working out the specifics of his powers. Sounds like he and Fish won't get along Limits and range looks good! I'll add him to the list of characters tomorrow when I'm on my laptop. Just one note, you might want to change the weakness a bit because the area we're going to be in probably will have a lot of snow (does that count for him?) at times of the year. Weaknesses don't always have to be a perfect contrast to their abilities, and it would probably be more fun if your Epic isn't always inconvenienced by having an easily occuring weakness. I know Aeo already asked, but I'd love to know specifics on range and limits for the gravity switching (funny story, I originally was going to have an Epic who controls gravity and then I realized how OP that is...), like can he switch any object's gravity? Other people's? Can he switch a small area's gravity? When it says gravity switching, I'm assuming that's the direction that gravity is facing? Weakness-wise, a bit more specific would help. How close to darkness, what counts as darkness, etc. Same thing as with Ignis, you don't have to make an extremely inconvenient weakness. Otherwise, it's looking good! I know that I went into a LOT of detail with my character's powers, and I encourage y'all to do the same! Helps you think about ways your Epic can do cool stuff and what their limits are. I do apologize for being annoying with all my questioning haha. And of course you are free to have more than one character if you want! I'm probably going to have a non-Epic character as well, and I'll possibly draft up mini-characted sheets for Epic ideas I have for those in Fish's faction, since he's gotta lead someone! I don't remember what the original schedule is looking like, but we're probably looking at starting things off in a week, week and a half? New people are always welcome at any time too.

Looking good! I'd love to know limits, range, etc. as well. Sounds good! Someone remind me I need to change the approved characters post to links at some point. Also, any comments on Fish? You all are free to judge my character haha.

Fish Just so everyone can see where my Epic is at and tell me they're too powerful I haven't decided on some minor details yet, it'll likely get resolved when the RP starts or when I get a solid idea of how to write Fish!

Yup! Unless you want to work for Fish Interesting! And thanks for your input on the second part. I agree with that. That's far more elegant than what I was thinking with "NO THIS IS MY HOME MY CITY" type of faction wars! Firstly, if his weakness ice / water, why would he be around a large body of water? Second, I'm a bit worried fire, lava, heat manipulation, and lightning all being for one Epic. Maybe consider taking some of those out or having two Epics? Maybe he will learn how to control his fear ... maybe. I hate to shut down such a cool idea, but that is waaaaaaay too powerful. Has been tried in the past, and super powerful Epics just don't work in this setting. Ask Aeo about Cy

I believe originally we chose a large body of water because we wanted one of the factions to be based around water, and because I was planning on having my Epic, who's going to be a major faction leader, need a large body of liquid water for his power (coming soon within the next few hours!). Also: does being away from water count as an acceptable weakness? Otherwise it shall be a quirk of his power. If you think frozen lake sounds cooler, I'd be willing to roll with that idea and change my Epic into something ice-related to play into that. I just want to be a faction leader haha

Alright! You're free to bounce ideas off of me or anyone else if you need any help figuring out specifics. Looks good! Most likely it will be factions vs factions. There's no set path really. I figured it would be like the old Reckoners RPG, though! We haven't really picked a location yet. Likely somewhere around the Niagara Falls area because my Epic will need to be around a large body of water (I'll finish and send my character sheet soon, I promise). Open to suggestions.

Alright! So just to clarify then, is he a gifter? If so, you'll want to add that to your character sheet for future reference! At some point in the next few days I'll be putting together a list of everyone and their character sheets (I just need @Aeoryi's), just so there's a place where everyone can refer back to more easily! So far we've got 3 Epics, plus whoever Aeoryi comes up with, plus at least one from me. Hopefully we'll get a few more people

Love the idea! Just a couple questions - about the weakness, does that apply only to bones that are outside of a human body, dead people, or would an alive person affect him? Shield-wise, anything specific that can go through it, or does it block everything out? Any limits to how big of an area he can cover?

It's a free-form RP. General RP rules apply (no god-modding, OOC talk in quote boxes). As far as format for the adventure, we'll see how things turn out. Most likely factions vs factions and you'll be able to do whatever you want. There will likely be no set path. As far as your character goes, is there a limit to what he can soulcast (i.e can he soulcast nuclear energy)? Weakness looks good!
