Strengths and weaknesses of RoW
Ramona Tehradin replied to Ba-Ado-Fisherman's topic in Stormlight Archive
I know right? A surgeon, a soldier, a bridgeman then a bodyguard, then a Radiant, then Highmarshal and then back to surgeon and then something unfigurable and then the hero/the hope people need, then the storm eternal and then finally Kaladin Stormblessed reborn. Totally worth dying for. -
I think there's a lot about Ishar, Heralds and Oathpact which has been kept in dark. Here are some things I pondered after reading and possibly would be needed for book 5. Ishar is a Bondsmith Unchained but I don't think he's the oldest and most experienced Bondsmith in Rosharan system. IIRC, Radiants were already present in Ashyn and because of overutilization/castastrophic power execution led to its destruction which made Heralds to come to Roshar along with human contigent. I haven't seen Ash giving any information about Ashyn because she is not from Ashyn. She's the only Herald who's born and made in Roshar so we know nothing about Expulsion and what actually went down in first human homeworld. Jezrien's dead, Nale is enemy, Kelek may/may not give some intel but I hardly see Shallan and Adolin reaching back from Shadesmar within ten days, Battar/Pailah/Vedel/Chana are heaven forbid which side and where- I know B and P are in Kharbranth but Dalinar won't send in armies to retrieve them from a neutral nation. Taln is indisposed....so that leaves Ishar who is perhaps the only Herald willing to give real information about what the heck happened in first place! A lot of Bonsmith's powers are unknown...actually a lot about Radiant powers are also unknown (looking at you Kaladin) so Ishar is the only guy who know how to deal things. And he says he can loop around Oathpact which can bind Odium back. They have to find Ishar because he said to be found so that he can implicate the Oathpact and provide some insights about Contest of Champions. I think this contest has happened before which was why it was suggested in first place. They don't have to cure him because its impossible to 'cure' a 7 thousand year old raving herald in 9 days and 23 hours...what's important is, Kaladin are Szeth are going to Shinovar because Ishar specifically said 'When a Radiant would speak Ideals near him, it will grant him temporary lucidity as the Radiant taps directly to Spiritial Realm' And...we know cleansing Shinovar is jounrey of Szeth's 4th Ideal and sending Kal with him is a clever piece of decision made. I think after whatever happened in RoW, Kaladin is 'prepared' to face everything. Remember what Dalinar one spoke, a soldier does not choose his/her battleground but fight will come and they have to always expect it. Kaladin is the best soldier they have and despite Dalinar's words, he's their best fighter. Even half without his powers, Kal's unstoppable and the best part is, his assertion and dissection of situation is brilliant. His thought-processing ability is faster than anyone as we saw him battling Pursuer and sneaking around occupation laden Urithiru. If anyone can sneak in and grab this Ishar, then its Kaladin. Not Shallan, Not a spy but Kaladin. Also, about Oathpact. So...Jezrien's dead and he's Patron of Windrunners. And Kaladin is going to Ishar...so, you can connect the obvious plot for book 5 here. Kaladin has not healed completely. He may never as well but he has taken the right path towards mending his fractured soul. That's Journey before Destination card for you.

Shardplates are mostly transparent and invisible to eyes. They are always present around the Knight and construct when summoned. Maybe Lightweavers can expand their illusions through Shardplates? Because I remember living Shardplates do not consume the same amount of Stormlight as dead ones do.

How does Kaladin deflect the Highstorm in Oathbringer
Ramona Tehradin replied to delphinousy's question in Cosmere Q&A
I'm aware of the WoB you mentioned hence I posted this in first place. My aim was to make known that there is little we know about Radiant powers. In recent publication, it was mentioned that there are a lot of powers lying unused and secretive for Surges and none of past Radiants could make use of it because cycles of war rendered them inviolable to fight rather than discover. Also, we saw a character making rather unthinkable use of his 'Armor' which wasn't possible in past as recorded from Dalinar's vision. For all we know, these Surges were discovered in Ashyn and led to dangerous consequences. There is different explanation for deflecting highstorm. Here what happens in Oathbringer The spren are circulating in constant motion, creating an opposing current to deflect the winds and later binding together to contain the winds. Here what happens in RoW: Here what was seen: Kaladin is clearly commanding the windspren to bind together and form windbreak. It is more than single use of a Surge and perhaps some hybrid combination of proto-Commands we have not read about. -
How does Kaladin deflect the Highstorm in Oathbringer
Ramona Tehradin replied to delphinousy's question in Cosmere Q&A
I don't think Adhesion vacuum explains how he deflected it. -
- RAFO INDEED Now he has shown us a brutal, practical berseker mode representation. Is this the direct hint? Are we going to see Dalinar ascending?

Kaladin Stormblessed is a character who made me fall in love with him unconditionally. He's my favorite character in Fantasy genre and while there are many SA characters I like, none of them ever make it to the spot I have in my heart for Kaladin. The moment I picked up TWoK, and read about this character, I was immediately addicted to know more, to explore more and BS never disappointed in providing satisfactory arcs for Kaladin. WoR was even better than its predecessor but all while Kaladin's part in Oathbringer were great, his drastic reduction of screentime was a gamble which failed to produce productivity. The author missed a lot of pivotal scenes, especially the part where Kaladin and Shallan fly to Thaylenah when there was an evident love triangle between Adolin, Shallan and Kaladin. But nevertheless, I accepted it as a part of his development and then came RoW. I've read people's disappointment in Kaladin's character and honestly, I don't see where this disappointment comes from. The book had everything to define who Kaladin is, chapter by chapter, unique morphemes making sure we know the journey of our hero who's struggling to accept himself in different situations. Maybe its because, sometimes readers have difficulty accepting Kaladin's depression and while, I myself is not prone to such episodes, I have suffered from prolonged period of lingering gloom which makes it impossible to not overthink and ignore an avalanche of emotions falling on your head. The pacing was brilliant, and each chapter was special. To my belief, Kaladin was the heart of RoW and without him, the story would never be enough. Kaladin is a hero who inspires tens of thousand. He is a person who has undergone waves of betrayal and yet, managed to move towards light by protecting even those he hates as long as its right. When RoW began with Lirin's chapter, I was already aware than this man is emotionally constipated and his failures veil him to understand Kaladin's success. Lirin's hatred towards Kaladin might have irked me in beginning but then I understood all Lirin wanted was to make sure his son never suffered from what his father, the renowned surgeon had ailed from. We then jumped into action pack sequences and introduced to Pursuer and then again, people make comments that the Pursuer was a cliched villian added to Kaladin's plot. None of them understand that this Fused is like thousands of years old and mentally retarded to let his passion of genocide take over rational processing. Lezien served his purpose and got his ending. Throughout the first part, little surprises about Kaladin kept dropping. Like he was freezing up, like he tried to court Lyn, like he still thought about Jasnah who had sworn 4th Ideal and he didn't. And his depression that came from failing others. And also....when Bridge Four members kept checking on him...it was good and kind, but the way Kaladin took care of Bridge Four can never be same as them taking care of him. For Kaladin, it cannot be the same but wind's alight, we have Sylphrena. Syl was there for him, and I already have accepted them as soulmates. You don't have to be romantically involved with someone to make them your soulmates and Syl and Kaladin...their bond is so precious, beyond threads of Radiance. Syl is there for him, always and that makes me happy. Their relationship is stronger than any other which I ponder for Kaladin, and for him, Syl is enough. She is his confidant, his friend, his advisor, his co-voyager, his strength, his happiness, his love and his heart. There is no romantic implications to my words because their relationship is undefined by mortal terminology. And as it has been said, only death can do them apart. In RoW, their relationship progressed phenomenally. As Syl began regaining her memories...she began to remember that even as a spren, she is prone to have darkness within her and while its not same as Kaladin...they are together to overcome it. Some moments between them, especially acting as each other therapists to breathe over insanity made me cry. BS has written these two souls in passionate ink of melancholic sanguineness. Kaladin and Adolin's friendship, no matter how restricted it was to two chapters also provided a content note to the story. Being a huge shipper, I believe Adolin would fare better with Kaladin than Shallan but they are adults and their decision must be respected as this point. Still, the friendship between these two men is precious. It was nice to see them off together and I hope they get some good bromance moments in book 5. Kaladin's whole arc in the story, starting from being relieved off duty to begin as a surgeon to becoming Roshar's first therapist to then accepting his sole as a protector and savior is like horizon of storm. I know the chapters can be frustrating because they are meant to be frustrating because that is the frustration which Kaladin felt of being helpless, of commanding his body to move but his muscles having got stiff from numbness of failure to aid him further. The turmoil was explained such brilliantly that I could ask nothing more from BS. He has created a phenomenal character called Kaladin Stormblessed and he keeps making phenomenal developments. When decision came to chose soldier or surgeon, Kaladin chose to be what was right at that moment. He is not a genocidal lunatic relishing for killing Fused and singers. The thought sickens him as well saw—he turned away from dying Fused. He chose to protect as long as it was right at that moment and that varies to perception. Some think that killing cannot justify saving and I agree to them, and tell them to keep that perception but don’t freaking block Kaladin for doing what he wants for people he cares. And then followed the most suspenseful, breath-holding moments in whole RoW. I loved the way BS showed Kaladin’s super-senses and the ability to sneak around like spies and assassins used to. You cannot except one person to go blitzkerzing-suicidal way to attack thousands of troops without scouting, noting enemies and discovering sour-points. Why the heck people say he was wallowing and moping around? Use your freaking brains! Half of his powers don’t work, all the radiants are comatose, the queen is captured and for part 2 and 3, he had only Syl as companion. Despite his arcane abilities, it would be sheer stupidity if he started bombing randomly. Anyway, no more of plot and what-so-ever. One of Kaladin’s best traits is that he listens, and corrects his mistakes that he ever made. For example, Rlain and honorspren—Kal understood that he was mistaken and accepting your mistakes and learning from it brings the best within your to make better decisions in future. I have not seen Shallan or Adolin or Navani making such deals. I hated their hypocrisy and the way they behaved to Kaladin calling him ‘lowly man’ in their eyes. Think about it, Adolin respected Kaladin because he recognized the warrior in him. Shallan treated Kal as dirt away and I am so freaking glad they didn’t end up together and Navani’s initial behavior towards Kal is unforgivable. They came around eventually which was another brilliant execution of understanding. Kaladin is perhaps the most strongest character of Stormlight Archive. Yes, healing is not easy. Healing is frustrating. Healing is so freaking difficult that you could feel fire running in your veins, branding you of failure and not letting your accomplishments or love or dauntlessness be your armor against it. It hurts. Kaladin hurts. But healing is not impossible. And Kaladin by far has not been healed. His soul is fractured. People around him die but he is strong enough to take the right step in direction of becoming better—to combat that shrouding depression by being strong for himself, by accepting that he can’t save everyone but he can try and be better than who he is be so that it would never come to that! His presence has begun encasing people with hope. His persona launches a private war within people—to be heroes for themselves—to be the hero for their hero and never give up. He gives them hope. He is the embodiment of hope that no matter whatever happens, no matter of his pain, no matter how much he hurts—he will get up. Everytime he falls, he will rise and he will rise again and again and strike and become that beacon to people so that they can never fall, no matter the evil. No matter the pain. And from that pain, eventually—it will be the strength. It will be ultimate power of healing. Kaladin is an inspiration. Kaladin is our hero and I do not think a single word in Rhythm of War has been wasted for him. And by no means he is going to take backseat in book 5 as well. Nobody was excepting Kal to having maximum screentime in RoW and I know, it might not happen same in book 5 but he will be pivotal character. That is the ultimate oath of Knight Radiants—their foundation. It’s not who is the boldest or strongest. It’s who that binds every single one of them with hope. And that’s Kaladin.

I agree. The living Shardplate-armor flying protection system is simply badass. I'm not sure if its just normal Windrunner thing or Kaladin is making something special out of it. My bet is on later actually. I think it's Kaladin's ability and it comes hardly as surprise because he seems to have intense control over highstorms- now being the only person so far to having it freaking twice deflected! And IIRC, he called in Windsprens to make that happen and he wasn't even close to 4th Ideal during first part of Oathbringer when he created that wind break by summoning and controlling Windsprens. Here's what happened in Oathbringer: It seems that whatever Kaladin did was never seen before. I mean...yeah, you just don't go deflecting a highstorm. Here's what he did in RoW What Lirin saw: If you read Lirin's description, Kaladin already had a Shardplate but thousands of windpren were still stopping the highstorm- an abnormal amount instructed by Kaladin to do so. In Oathbringer, Kal 'cajoled' windpren to do the windbreak. I haven't seen anyone literally commanding sprens to do something so powerful before. Also, if you all remember from Dalinar's vision, the Windrunner who came to rescue Dalinar (Heb), his wife and daughter already had a Shardplate and Re-Sephir was sending her pawns to attack them. Clearly he was efficient enough in his combat to face them with grace then why didn't he summon his Shardplate as armour over these three innocents? The Stoneward came later, and those seconds could've led to anything. My assumption is, either they didn't know that or the Windrunner couldn't do it. There are a lot of things which makes little sense about Kaladin but from above passages, he clearly has control over windspren/winds/storms. If that is the case then imagine having thousands of windspren around him and Kaladin could easily summon temporary Shardplates over innocents through simple command! Brandon is being very sneaky about it. Maybe we can ask him specifically in some Q&A session?

Who is the best fighter of Dalinar?
Ramona Tehradin replied to AlejandroTeodoro's topic in Stormlight Archive
Kaladin Stormblessed is the best fighter. No doubt. We have already seen he moves like wind waaay before his powers started to manifest. In WoR, when he's fighting against two Shardbearers together, we read that he fought them with freaking closed eyes and added to that during battle of Thayleneh City, he was not only combating his depression but also battling multiple fused and a Yelig-nar laden all ten surges brewing Amaram and rose victorious (with Bridge Four's intervention in end). And in RoW, he freaking carried a scalpel as his weapon and even without half of his powers, not only he was strangely conscious when whole tower fell apart but also pulled off impossible missions (Die Hard, man). Plus IIRC, Stormfather did mention that Dalinar's power in tower will not work because of corruption but Kaladin's RL-FL did. And as the corruption progressed, healing might be difficult but his powers just improved! I think Navani spoke to Dalinar after not only seeing Kaladin's one-man army feats but also having remembered Moash's words that 'No enemy can kill Kaladin Stormblessed' nearly ten times. He is the best fighter, yes he might not be their best killer because honor bounds him- and its not in his nature to go on murdering people. Also, as for being assassin thing, we already saw Kal having super spidery senses and with Syl as his guide, he can sneak in and do his bidding- hence I believe how Szeth and Kal would sneak Ishar out of Shinovar. I think there is to more Dalinar's implication since the book just ended and we have wait 3 years for next one to arrive. Nobody expected things to turn this way in RoW so I wouldn't be surprised in BS managed to pull off some twisted contest scheme and Kal ended up being Dalinar's champion after all. Oh, for the record...Kaladin is the only one who has deflected a freaking highstorm twice. So...you know your best.- 17 replies

Finally, we are having a separate discussion on this! So, why Kaladin's eyes turned yellowish-red? Hmm...the correct answer is... Nobody knows. But there are theories and it began the moment everyone fell unconscious to Tower's corruption except Kaladin Stormblessed. Kaladin remaining awake just because he's 'far enough into his oaths' or 'close to Honor' is a generalized way of saying we freaking don't know. It is weird to know that each individual oaths have their own levels, and if we look into Kal's story from mid-part 3 and part 4, then Kaladin certainly wasn't going 'far enough into his oaths'. His depression was taking control in episodic manner, crippling his insides but Stormblessed never lost his powers. It meant he should be 'going down on his oaths' but that wasn't the case. In fact, he got better to use Adhesion as the story progressed. Teft regained his consciousness only when Lift healed him, and he needed a constant supply of Lifelight healing to stay awake or else he'd stumble back into coma. And pretty sure the whole tower was filled with Radiants who have been far along their oaths as well. For example, I heard Stoneward squires present which meant that at least a Stoneward was already into her third Ideal to have squired. Doesn't make sense, does it? I think we need a whole new page for that. But remember something has always been different about Kaladin from other radiants. Anyway, let's come back to our yellow-eyes stuff. It's Odium trying to enter his soul. Here is how that goes: RoW spoilers: The moment Teft died, Kal's soul began fracturing and Odium invaded in, trying to tempt Kaladin by taking away his pain and making him feel nothing again. There was a power struggle between the Honor within Kaladin and Odium's temptation and it manifested in form of corrupted Investiture which surprisingly Kaladin was able to control. But corrupted Investiture often exhibits abnormal behaviour in Surges ex. Rlain/Renarin's Futuresight but in case of Kaladin, Honor's true Surges manifested still (another mystery) which meant he was pushing Odium back despite the pain and temptation. People think Kal's resolve will break but I know by far he has one of the strongest will power to combat against anything. Oh, and for why Reverse Lashing didn't glow like Gravitation Lashing? It's simple because it doesn't. Here is the explanation: But there are a whole lot of things which make little sense about Kaladin: His spidery senses while trying to avoid Pursuer. His whole remaining conscious since Tower corruption has not been explained properly. The way Cryptics near Elhokar tried to avoid when Kal came near. 'Shadows go away' Kaladin never felt effect of Tower's corruption except 'a growing darkness pressing against him' Kaladin's power kept working even though healing was difficult, in fact his powers kept improving. Why didn't Kaladin's Surges behaved abnormally when Odium Connected to him? Why Honor's true Surge still remained unchanged? Reverse Lashing is a combo of Gravitation-Adhesion. Tower put a damp of Gravitation but then how RL still worked? The freaking whole Son/Child of Tanavast thing! What the heck did Odium see in future about him? Vyre kept repeating that 'Kaladin Stormblessed can't be killed, he's the force of storms and storm can't be defeated.' X ten times in whole book. Why would he repeart this? What did Odium showed to Vyre? The way Kaladin uses his Surges/Windspren to freaking deflect Highstorms!! AHHH HOW is that possible! In case you are wondering some interim detailed reasons for Kaladin to remain awake during occupation, I have delivered a long reasoning about it in a separate thread. The link's below, do check it out and provide your views. Why Kaladin was awake during occupation?

What an amazing way to put it! I loved it. The symbolism between Pursuer and Kaladin's depression is evident. There have been wordings that Lezian is a bland villian whose arc was to make Kaladin's arc progress and I absolutely disagree. How much do we even know about Fused? Next to almost none. We don't know their 'Reborn' process in detail, we don't know what they did in Briaze, we don't know their activities in past Desolations and we don't know that despite being soldiers of Odium, some of them have different Intents. Reboniel and Leshwi proved that despite years of torture, they stayed fixed to their Passion. Reboniel's was Intrigue/Curiosity and Leshwi, much to our surprise was Rectitude. And Pursuer's Passion was Vengeance. For all we know, this character might be even older than other Fused and this constant cycle of Desolations has left impacts on his mind. BS in a beautiful way showed that not everything immortality lures can be a gift. It's the curse which would be always suspended over your head, waiting to strike and take away who you are. And this is who our Pursuer become, a stark example of those coveting immortality but losing their sanity. Thinking about it, even Gavilar was soughing to become immortal and his mind was already corrupted that he was his own legacy. I also liked how Pursuer influenced in Kaladin's story. Not only this antagonist compelled Kaladin to rely on different techniques but also slowly get the full picture that there will be always other ways to protect people, but there will be these whom you need to fight in order to protect. Pursuer managed to bring that tipping balance in Kaladin's 'fight' because Kal would now know, even though he chose to be a healer- this creature would come again and again, jeopardizing those around him. Hence, he must make the balance between spear and scalpel, and be prepared. And this made Kaladin confident that he can be whatever he wants to be and still protect people. Also, something people forget that despite Reboniel having called Kal being not a threat during meeting with Nine, she clearly knows that he is the biggest threat over others and let him loose to hunt down the only taint that could spoil her plans. I was so glad when her fears became real in end. The final showdown between Kaladin and Lezian was so cinematic, like imagining a highstorm raging in background with eyes of people and singers watching with their breaths held down their throat and you have no option but to CHOSE to fight because that's your choice. You have the choice to embrace that STORM, that power within you to become confident that you think yourself ETERNAL in compared to a literal immortal. There are a lot of things in jumble after Teft's death and subsequent fight. Theories have been sparking about Kaladin's yellowish-red eyes and such agility as wind which is like all new level of stuff but the way he killed Pursuer was terrifying and at the same time, satisfying. Clearly it showed that we do NOT know the real STORM that is within Kaladin. Anyways, I believe Pursuer's character got what it was written for.

Windrunners- Windspren (CONFIRMED) Skybreakers- Gravitationspren/Gravityspren Dustbringers- Flamespren/Heatspren/Decayspren Edgedancers- Lifespren (pretty much confirmed) Truthwatchers- Rainspren/Concentrationspren Lightweavers- Creationspren (pretty much confirmed) Elsecallers- Logicspren (CONFIRMED) Willshapers- Musicspren/Stonespren Stonewards- Groundspren/Bindspren/Stonespren Bondsmith- Bindspren/Gloryspren/Coldspren-Towerspren There were some discussion that Starspren might be also creating Plate but it was revealed they are solitary spren and do not congregate. That's pretty much my assumption. Somebody catch Axis to interrogate.

Sure, why didn't she go kill him and all waay before? Because she clearly has the power which Odium fears. -
'I am death itself, Defeated One, and I've finally caught up to you.' - Both of them had no idea how right Kaladin was in the end. And the other one, 'Run. Flee. I'll chase you. I will never stop. I am eternal. I am the storm.' - Kaladin was making flames dance on my skin when he said this.

Super fun! Roshar: Kaladin (because well, he's Kaladin Stormblessed) and Ishar (he knows more than Dalinar does, so until Dalinar reaches his level...Ishar it is) Mistborn: Obvious, Vin and Elend. GB wouldn't dare to strike their own. Nalthis: Nightblood and Vivienna/Azure's sword because terrible things will happen when they combine and Odium already knows how terrible NB can be. GBs can diminish themselves in aftershock. Taldain: Khriss and Kenton. Too bad we can't take Bavadin. Threnody/First of the Sun: (Uh...haven't read these book. xD) Yolen: Frost and Hoid...wippeee, bye bye Odium.

rhythm of war Cultivation Possibilities
Ramona Tehradin replied to albenraph's topic in Cosmere Discussion
A wild theory: Hear me out, I might be either colossally wrong or terribly right and we have been lead to believe the biggest lie Roshar is based on. And sensing the new 'testaments' coming forth in RoW, I would not be surprised if majority of the books have shrouded us in ways we couldn't contemplate. I don't think Honor is dead. RoW Spoilers, letters from Part 2. WoBs We know you can kill a Vessel and the Shard would escape from it. To my knowledge, I think Tanavast was killed and Honor was somehow broken/shattered which is referred to as splintering. Harmony clearly mentions that 'we are all essentially infinite' which means powers of creation can never be destroyed even by a Shard. From what Brandon said before, Honor's essence i.e his Shardic presence is still influential in Roshar but everyone lives in a lie that he is dead. Honor has been left incapacitated for active role but that doesn't mean he is dead which is why the theories which speak Honor would be reforged is actually possible because the power had never left in first place. Killing of a Shard does not mean killing of its Intent because broken/shatter/destroy/splinter is clearly reversible. I think Cultivation is aware of this, and she's somehow propelling Todium for Contest so that Dalinar can defeat him and Todium would be broken/shattered i.e left incapacitated for active influence. Also, on side note she could be setting goals to have both these Shards combined and form War as was mentioned before but Harmony states combination of Shards is not an easy solution because of opposing nature. But Honor and Odium are not opposing in nature. Both of them are bound by Oaths and both Intents can be intermingled like Ruin and Preservation had. Which means, Cultivation has set Dalianr (Or person X) to Ascend bearing this mingled Intent while Todium could possibly be overpowered by the Shard's influence on Vessel and make a mistake which will cost the contest. I also grow wary of Stormfather's words because either he is good at lying stuff or he isn't completely aware of real things going around him. For example: The whole Recreance thing was subjected to human tyranny but in end, we realized humans and sprens came together to that decision. So thereby, make sure you check our Stormfather's explanation twice before driving conclusion. Also, I know Taravangian is smarter than Rayse was but he's fairly new and how much can Cultivation guide him within 9 days and 23 hours? It's simply not enough. Todium himself is at disadvantage but it remains if he managed to sneak out by finding a champion for himself. My bet is on El or Nale. Then again, that was not Cultivation's whole plan here. She wanted someone who can control Odium's power because she needs to have him impotent for time being. Her visions fare more to other systems where other Shards have been constantly in war and soon, it wouldn't be long before they directed their attention to Rosharan system and she needs to prepared for long term scale and have both these Intents combined and subdued in her hands. In book 5, we may see that Honor is reforged and combined to Odium to form the dishard somehow left in control of Cultivation, a weapon that can be used whenever she wants. She knows Honor is still out there, but incapable. Now she needs Dalinar to somehow make Todium incapable as well so that these two can be forged together and be under her leash. And considering Cultivation, I think she wouldn't be big bad to our heroes. I think she's pretty good and clever, a great way to have these powers safely tucked. -
Oh, here's another one. Too LOL to even make Kaladin perk up. The moment when Syl painted herself in a red coloured dress to mimic a voidspren in chapter 58: Syl drew near to the post, then spoke loudly enough that Kaladin heard her easily. "You there! I am super annoyed! Super, super annoyed! How can you stand there? Didn't you see?" "Brightness?" one of them (warform singers) said in Alethi. "Er, Ancient One? We are to-" "Come on, come on! No, all of you. Come see this. Right now. I'm really annoyed! Can't you tell?" Syl shouted. (Kaladin facepalming tensely in distance.)
