  1. Jahora nodded his head absently and started walking. His thumb nervously drummed against his thigh because, truth be told, he was worried about Rose. He didn't trust her to be by herself, the state she was in demanded that someone be there to look after her. He pushed down the urge to race after Rose and tell her that she was okay "It's probably better that Rose isn't with us, her scowl would give away our murderous intentions to everyone we talk to." He said skeptically. "Anyway, let's go. Rose can find us on her own accord. If she can't than she'll learn why its a bad idea to storm away from her pals."
  2. I vote that we should change the topic so we no longer have to keep losing the game
  3. NUUUUUUU don't infest this thread with that cursed game
  4. Welcome to The Shard! Who’s your favourite Stormlight Character?
  5. Jahora cast a look between the other “I’m not going after her. I’ve got this inkling of a feeling that that girl doesn’t like me. But if she’s gone a while than I’ll send one of you two to go check on her. She’s so unstable, I don’t really trust her to be by herself for too long.” He sighed and let his hat drop, wincing a little as it’s golden weight landed on his head. “D’ya think she’ll have another panic attack if we get a head start toward the house?”
  6. Twiget slowed and plonked Pebble down next to Tangerine. “You look after Pebble now.” She mumbled tiredly. Then she burrowed into the snow under a nearby tree and prepared to hunker down for the night.
  7. You could help me decide whether I should finish a song of ice and fire, reread to kill a mocking bird or read Lord of the Flies. asoiaf is what I’m reading for recreation at the moment. tkamb is a book that I like, but it’s depressing so I’m not super keen on reading it again. It’s my English teacher’s favourite book and she’s making my class read it as an extension task. lotf is the book I’m studying for school, but I’ve got a long time to read it soooo I might just procrastinate.
  8. Twiget trudged along with the others. "One day you'll be carrying me, little one." She gently picked him up by the scruff continued onwards.
  9. You needn’t be humiliated by your past. I, for example, used to be part of a cult. Yes, that descion was one of the most embarrassing I’ve made, yet I don’t feel embarrassed telling you guys about it. Also those pebbles aren’t going to do you much good until you have more control over your power. If a heavier object comes flying at you, then them pebbles will just as easily turn into oncoming projectiles as outgoing ones.” He held out his hands and repelled his his against his necklace so it levitated, in all its golden glory, above his head. Then he smiled angelicly at Rose “We all have our tricks.”
  10. "C'mon Rose, you need to let these thing slide. It was funny, well placed, a little ironic and all together a good joke. I'd give Kess a clap in the back for it if you weren't here to hate me for it. Also, people are mostly more open about their past. For example, Kieran ran away from a rich family and then lived in the forest, Kess wants her parents to be proud of her, I'd defer tbat she come from a well-off family. You however, had mahor mood swing whenever the topic was brought up. Usually I don't grill people on their past; you, buddy, are just a special case. "
  11. Twiget flopped face down on the ground "I'll help take care of the dragons." she mumbled knowing that no one would hear her through the muffling snow.
  12. "Woah, calm down. It was just are joke, jokes are made to be funny; you don't need to get mad about it." He'd never seen a bounty hunter with so little resilience, this girl was hard-core.
  13. I havent really been keeping up with what Fadran's doing, but if yiu were to write a book, I'd read it. Would it be sci-fi/fantasy?
  14. Imma just change your quote because im too lazy to copy it out.
  15. I will now (that I have spare time at a reasonable hour of day) Yup, you can call me Twig I tried XC skiing in Nintendo Mario and Sonic Winter Olympic Games, I sucked at it though
  16. Aelyon leant against a tree in the forest to catch her breath. She groaned softly as tall tales of monsters that lurked in the woods emerged in her mind, who knew who would be waiting in ambush around the next bend. The wood wasn't safe for young ladies like her, even her skill set would only get her so far if trouble struck. She meandered slowly down the overgrown path, she didn't really fancy the idea of returning home to her disgrace of a husband. She'd been planning on lurking around the castle all night, but that plan had gone south. She ventured deeper into the forest maybe I could find a cottage kind enough to take me in for the night she pondered wistfully.
  17. "It's about a 15 minute walk, 10 minutes if you get lucky with the slum's pedestrian traffic. Also because you're tagging along with me, you're automatically my friend. That's just how it works, right Kess?" he grinned.
  18. Aelyon tapped her foot impatiently, she couldn't afford to dwardle right now, not when her object was the castle walls. She flipped up her black hood and got into the mindset that was hammered into her during her train. She became a blur of movement and fled down through corridors in search of an exit. When she saw the lights of other servants, or 'servants' if they were anything like her, she turned the corner. Prehaps they would see a black flicker of movement, perhaps she was overestimating their observation skills. She found and opened an inconspicuous hatch and breathed a sigh of relief when the crisp air of the night overpowered the musty corridor. Then Aelyon steeled herself; she became the shadow and fled into the night.
  19. Aelyon stared, mouth agape, at the kitchen girl as she disappeared into an opening in the wall. She rushed over hopefully and started tapping the wall where the girl had gone through. She had learned of a hallway and tunnel system for servants that ran throughout the castle during her studies as an assassin, but she had never been trusted with its hidden entrances. It was unlike the servants to be so clumsy with the secret entrances, hidden passages could easily become dangerous in the wrong hands; perhaps her show with The Raveness had started to bear fruit, maybe she truly did win over some of the castle. Even though the nobles weren't outwardly supporting her, servants were very powerful allies. She suppressed a cry of delight as a stone shifted under her hand and a small hatch swung open, she strode hurriedly down the hallway, with luck she would find a way out of this blasted building. She stumbled into a servant passing through the hall from the direction of the ballroom, her pocketed jewels swung at her waist catching her off balance and almost toppling her over. "I am so sorry." She cringed at her clumsiness you must calm down her old lessons played through her mind as she straightened up and regained composure. She nodded towards the ballroom "What's going on in there?" She could only imagine the chaos a lockdown would put in that room.
  20. Hmmm how long does a win need to be to count as a win
  21. Twiget trudged up to the cave entrance with pebble in tow and hesitantly peeked inside. She shuddered at the darkness who knows what monsters lurk in the shadows. "Hello" She called into the mouth of the cave, giggling a little as her voice reverberated around the room "Are you guys still in there?"
