  1. TLPW stands for The Last Post Wins, it's a thread where people 'win' by being the last person to post on the thread. Except people sort of just chat, hang out there and spam post a lot. I think it's a little dead now compared to a few months ago, but it's still quite active. It's really easy to join if you wanted to check it out. hmmmmm but I had such a great winning streak :/ still, losing the game was totally worth getting a chance to plug tlpw hehehehehehe
  2. Jahora smiled weakly then walked in the general direction of Selene's old house, he steered out of the busy main street and into narrow, less crowded alleyways. He took off Tydel's fancy top hat and tucked it under his jacket so he would be less of a target for ruffians who usually prowled through alleyways around this end of town.
  3. Skadar grinned and teleported over to Selil "Yes! I can't believe you remembered my name after all these years. You must remember me fondly then, ay?"
  4. Skadar gazed around the Hall wondering who he could take the mickey out of the easiest. A smile creeped onto his face as his eyes landed on Selil, a narrator who had actually been successful in running a reasonably sadistic career. "Hey Selil! Long time no see! How goes it?" He called. @Channelknight Fadran
  5. Jahora glanced back over his shoulder and saw that Rose hadn't followed him through the passage he carved out of the crowd. He held out a hand towards her "come on, let's get out of here, we can go somewhere more quiet."
  6. mmmnmmm I had chicken for dinner.
  7. Jahora tightly clasped his mouth shut and bit down on his tongue, he had outspoken himself. Then, gesturing for Rose to follow, he slowly pushed his way through the crowd that was slowly thinning now that Rose's magic trick was over. His twisted the rings on his finger, he was determined to befriend Rose someway for another, There's got to be a way to get her to stop hating me. Joline chuckled as Kess stormed out. "Kids these day." she muttered to herself, then smiled and continued her knitting.
  8. "Come on Rose, let's go somewhere with less people." He felt a pang of sympathy for Rose, was this what her everyday life was like? No wonder she looked so tired.
  9. Jahora flinched as the crates turned towards him. "Calm down Rose, I know you can. These people weren't afraid of you, they were just curious. They weren't scared until you pointed those spiky things towards their faces."
  10. "I'm just trying to make sense of you. I tried being nice, and you still hated me, being a jerk didn't speak to you either. Have you ever liked anyone? Try taking deep breaths to calm down, it'll help you get a grip on your powers. Trust me Rose, you don't need that wood to protect you."
  11. Jahora dropped the pine and shoved his hand back into his pocket "Why are you scared of me?"
  12. Jahora stood up and shoved his hands firmly into his pockets. "Nothing is wrong with me, and neither is anything wrong with you. Just because we're different doesn't mean that we're wrong." He walked up to the shard of broken crate that had flew the furthest from Rose and inspected the wood. Pine, he thought disappointedly.
  13. Jahora crossed his hands protectively above his head and curled up into a ball "hey, hey, I was just trolling. Mind the crotch! I'll shut up now, I'll be quiet." Then he repelled every ounce of metal Rose had on her away from his rings and belt and pushed her out of arm's reach from him.
  14. Jahora stared right into Rose's grey eyes "I wasn't teasing you, I was threatening you."
  15. Skadar hopped into the hall and frowned disdainfully around the room, and all was as he had feared, nothing had changed. I'd much rather be back gallivanting around with the humans, giving the pitiful beings a healthy amount of havoc to chew on. It was unfortunate that this place was as immortal as its inhabitants; eternally filled with a bunch of long-nosed narrators, each trying to be more sadistic then the guy beside them. And the worst part of it all, was that at a glance between himself and the other narrators, he could see no difference.
  16. Half blinded from laughter, Rose's fist landed artfully on the side of his head. Jahora's laughter slowed to a snicker, then dissipated completely. He lifted his hand from to crotch to his head to access the damage. "Ouch! my joke wasn't that bad, right?"
  17. Jahora looked back up at Rose and let his smile loose "Get it? Oaked wine, as in Oakenway." Then he burst out laughing. I should probably learn how to make proper threats some time soon.
  18. Jahora instinctively clasped a hand protectively around his balls. "If you kick my balls again, then I will pick you up by the scruff of your neck and shove you down into a barrel of well oaked wine." He looked down so Rose wouldn't see him biting his lip to suppress a smile. Threatening people did have a certain charm to it, maybe that's why Rose did it so often.
  19. Jahora smiled cheesily at Rose then continued whistling.
  20. Jahora waved his hands about in crude gestures that resembled something along the lines of 'I'll cut if you smile'.
  21. "Awww, but I like talking." He said and clasped his mouth shut. After a few long moments, unable to suffer the heavy silence, he opened his mouth again and started whistling a tune as he walked gayfully down the street beside Rose.
  22. "You hate everyone, so I won't take offense." Jahora slowed in his tracks as Rose drifted down the street. "Hey, is there anything I can do to cheer you up?" he asked softly.
  23. I actually rarely talk about Sanderson books with the people on the forum. In my experience, Sanderson books are usually used as an ice-icebreaker to start a conversation, but after that the books are hardly ever discussed. Saying that, I rarely tune into the discussion side of the forum because sometimes the theories make my brain hurt.
  24. "I won't pick you up if you don't kick me in the crotch, deal?" Still slightly bent over, he held out a hand for her to shake.
  25. Life's good (I'm actually kinda tired). I'm happy because when I was offline for a week(ish), I forgot how much happiness being online with everyone here brings me; now that I'm online again, Iife is good Also, I finished rewriting the rp post. Yay
