Bluey!
Pruning the Blackthorn replied to Through The Living Glass's topic in Entertainment Discussion
"Takeaway." It just makes me laugh. "Grandad" gives me the biggest feels. Neither Bluey nor Bingo is better, though Bingo makes me laugh more often than Bluey does. -
Hello, I have decided to save up some money to commission a work of art to hang in my home. I would like it to be of Dalinar and incorporate the quote about the most important step a man can take being the next one, which is one of my favorites. I was wondering if anyone has any artist recommendations I should look at that might be a good fit. Thanks.

Steel inquisitors are a little goofy
Pruning the Blackthorn replied to Shadow of Electrum's topic in Mistborn
Gancho, I get tired walking around the block, so I can only imagine how tiring mass murder is. “Mass genocide is the most exhausting activity one can engage in…next to soccer.” —Loki, from the movie Dogma- 9 replies

That sucks. I am an outliner who, for reasons I can't remember, decided to discovery-write a novel. It's...not going well. -

Stormlight will become a campy kids show where Kaladin fights Parshendi like the Power Rangers fighting Putties. -
Stormlight characters ai art anime style
Pruning the Blackthorn replied to bmcclure7's topic in Stormlight Archive
That Kaladin one is way, way bulkier than I picture him. But I like them. I agree the singer one is a bit confusing, though. -
Impossible to pick; they were all terrible. Rory had storming terrible taste in men.

Welcome. Frostbite, Wrathbearer, and Soulcleaver are my suggestions for Shardblade names.

What are you most excited to see in book 5?
Pruning the Blackthorn replied to Stitof's topic in Stormlight Archive
Kaladin and Szeth road-trip bros! Also, learning more about the Shin in general. -
Where would you rather go?
Pruning the Blackthorn replied to The Sibling's topic in Cosmere Discussion
Probably Scadrial in the Elendel Basin because I think it's the most safe and the place with the most creature comforts. Correct me if I'm wrong. But, I'm a wimp, and I don't want to be anywhere dangerous or where life is too hard. What would I do first? I don't know. Look for a job, maybe? Figure out how I'm going to support myself. I would avoid all main characters because that's where the danger is (see above: wimp). If I could go anywhere anytime, it would probably still be Scadrial but between era 3 and era 4. I'd like to avoid the world-wide cataclysms if I could but also have good technology and medicine. (Sorry, I know my answer's pretty boring.) -
Brandon Sanderson always seems to have a storm ton of outlines (if memory serves, he's even got some for the Star Wars prequels that he did just to get it out of his system), and I'm curious when he does this? If he uses his four writing days for outline "clean up," drafting, and editing, then where do all these outlines come from? Does anyone know? I'm losing sleep; it seems insane to me.

I have no idea what I'm doing, you know, in life. So, don't worry about not knowing what you're doing on this site. -

I don't know for sure, but my gut says the former. We don't know what happens at the end of Stormlight 5, so maybe a bunch of Horneaters leave for Shadesmar. Doesn't someone mention in The Lost Metal that Roshar is inaccessible? Maybe a bunch of Horneaters got trapped in the Cognitive Realm and have just been living there for a time?
