  1. Couldn’t Kaladin just Lash the knife out? That would explain why he kept stabbing him.
  2. And he moves his soul through the Spiritual realm using Transportation? I guess that could be possible.
  3. I would say they use draining Fabrials for removing the Stormlight. Is the Sibling in the gemstone column? You apparently need to remove Stormlight for a Spren to enter, so I assume it works the other way around. If Dalinar can’t infuse it, then there has to be something in there.
  4. I would guess it is just inference. They know a Windrunner was flying toward hearthstone, and they know that some of the people in hearthstone are related to a Windrunner. Just take an educated guess and you have Kaladin.
  5. Amaram was a Highmarshal. I assume it means controlling an army instead of a battalion, like Kaladin did before.
  6. What has happened to the war over the last year? Herdez continued to fight, but there were other battlegrounds that were being contested. What was gained and lost?
  7. Chulls and horses. Chulls for normal flight, but horses on call for an extra speed burst. After all, Chulls are beasts of burden and could work for longer.
  8. Fabrials in conjunction with aluminum! Brilliant! I wonder if they could change from Chulls to horses. That would be much faster.
  9. Proto-Windrunner, yes, but also possibly a Stoneward. Stonewards are all about strength and Windrunners are all about protection. Not much conflicting there, especially if you use that strength to protect. We do have yet to see a dual Radiant.
  10. Drehy is second Ideal I believe. Skar never swore the second on screen, only the first.
  11. Maybe the reason Skar took so long to become one of Kaladin’s squires is because he already was of, or was going to be of, another order.
  12. I believe it was Drehy who said that, not Skar.
  13. Edgedancer could be a possibility for the Mink. I agree, Skar is a good candidate for a Stoneward. Perhaps he will become a Stoneward and Windrunners squire. That would be an interesting combination.
  14. I agree, Dustbringer seems the most likely. However, he could be a Stoneward, loosening the manacles slightly with Cohesion. Both are likely, considering that he fought a hopeless battle and lost many men. Is he a brave Stoneward or a destructive Dustbringer?
  15. Cultivation‘a presence is one of the main reasons Rosharan ecology is so persistent and varied. Her death would not be catastrophic, I agree, but it would be very damaging to Roshar’s ecology. She is supporting it, allowing it to grow and flourish. Odium would splinter her, then likely splinter anything that took a substantial amount of her power, like the Stormfather taking part of Honor’s power. With no Shardholder to direct the power, Roshar would not be able to support the animal population it can today. This would cause predators to die off.
  16. Cultivation’s death would be a terrible blow to the Rosharan biosphere. She is one of the main reasons that Rosharan ecology is as diverse and persistent as it is today, along with Gemheart bonds. If the Crem stops falling from the Highstorms, no Gemhearts will grow. This wouldn’t be catastrophic, but it would wipe out all Greatshells, cause plants and animals to stop growing and expanding the way they do, and remove Roshar’s main light source. As fire is stronger on Roshar than it is on Earth, this could be a problem.
  17. The Unmade could be a part of it, but not all. He wanted to conquer a kingdom after all, so he has to have some visions of power and glory. The Unmade could certainly heavily influence that. But which Unmade?
  18. The sword isn’t just at his neck, it is also at his family’s. The fact that he is willing to risk his and his family’s lives for a cause shows true bravery.
  19. Doesn’t Brandon limit himself to 1 revival per series? We already have Szeth. Reviving another character would violate that rule. Form a in-world perspective, how could reviving him be achieved? Odium could turn him into a Fused-like being, he could be a cognitive shadow, or something unknown. All of these possible methods point towards Odium as the culprit, as Cultivation seems to play in the background. Why would Odium revive a possible Bondsmith? This Gavilar we are seeing, he probably wouldn’t want to serve anyone, not even a Shard. Odium has also been preparing Dalinar for a long time. Killing Dalinar’s brother would be another pain Dalinar could give up. Finally, it seems like Ulim was the one who ordered the Listeners to buy Szeth. Ulim serves Odium, and why kill him and revive him? Why not just fake his death?
  20. Box as in code name? Box as in literally a box shaped Fabrial? Box as in cube shaped human-sized oathgate? I hope to learn more about both this box and Fabrials in tRoW.
  21. I agree, the Unmade are the most likely culprit behind Gavilar’s behavior changes.
  22. I agree, Ulim could have came from one of the spheres. On another topic, wasn’t the Sons of Honor’s goal to bring back the Heralds? If he has evidence that the Heralds seems back, then why continue working for the Desolation? Was he not fully aligned with the Sons of Honor? He did mention Restares as a possible employer of Szeth.
  23. I’m interested about the epigraphs. Information about Fabrials is very exiting, to me at least. This seems like a logical conclusion. Box as in some kind of Fabrial, perhaps? Navani said in another book that “few knew how cold Gavilar had became.” Perhaps he was not always like this?
  24. It could be frozen liquid Investiture, but I doubt that is a possibility.
