Constantly torn between the 'it's okay that I haven't quite figured out how to draw various features yet, I'm trying, and that's the important part', and the 'this absolutely sucks and I cannot get it right and I need to burn it before I get blacklisted for doing it wrong' parts of my art.
I'm 'self aware' and 'well-adjusted', all that means is that I recognize that No. 2 is not a good way to think. (Or plausible.) It's a work in progress. Much like my art.
Anyway, this has been Evening Musings With Kindness, tune in next time to hear how to muffle clicking noises from ceiling fans.

You'll have to tune in next time.
SpoilerYou've got to find out where the noise is coming from. If the chain is clicking against the part where it attaches to the fan, or against another chain, then you just wrap something soft around the offending part in such a way that you can still use it properly, and it should do the trick. The other options are turning the fan down/off, but when that isn't possible, this works in my house.

...what if the clicking sound comes from the ceiling fan rocking off the ceiling?

... Yeah, that's out of my league. You could try the same thing, but that doesn't sound safe.
