You stand at the edge of a cliff, staring at the former river below. Behind you is a dear friend who has been replaced with an identical copy that is attempting to sacrifice you to the canyon so the water will return. What do you do?

A Fae offers you an edible item. How do you accept it and what do you do with it?

The game board seems difficult to track as we cannot lay eyes on a physical board. If we were playing in person, I would be perfectly amenable to this rule. However, given the difficulties involved, I think not. I vote for Rules 305 and 306

I don't know about pages per hour, but I did a reading speed test just now [http://www.readingsoft.com/] and got 1000 wpm with a comprehension of 82%

And so it begins. Shaylor mkabat nour. Mkai bade fortenthis. Prelude: The Heralds are a lot sadder than I remember. [Also, imagine if Taln survived, dragging his battered body back to the meeting point only to see the nine swords in a circle. They left him behind. They left him in Braize. They left him. If only...] Prologue: Shalash's statue is gone. Gavilar Kholin was left with a board that had writing on it. From the perspective of those who found him, Gavilar had learned to write in secret. 1: The mood soured very, very quickly. Poor Cenn. Now I want to see a Shardbearer if they're so beautiful that they resemble the Almighty himself. 2: Syl is very young. Even in murder, Kaladin fails. Tvlakv, you storming bastard, he could have lived. 3: Beneath the bells of Kharbranth... [The innocent, slowly dying, whispering words of foretelling. A brilliant, compassionate king, draining the blood from their veins. That is the price we pay for knowledge.] Oh, Shallan, you sweet summer child, you babe swaddled in the cashmere blanket of ignorance. Sheltered and kept from the world. You'll learn. Oh, the things you'll learn. 4: Kaladin, try to stop lying to yourself. You'll never succeed, of course, but it will make it so much easier for you in the long run. And do stop telling the truth when it doesn't help you. 5: Jasnah is a beautiful heretic. You underestimate the king. You know not what he has done, what he will do. Shallan, thou art a fool, a thief, and a liar. Your plan was poorly planned from the start. 6: Bitterness breeds bitterness. Kindness is fleeting [though the existence of a hugspren brings me hope]. Bridge Four, Bridge Death, Bridge of a wondrous future. And Sylphrena has a name! 7: Oh Kabsal, if I didn't know what you die for, I would almost like you. The Herdaz are always so intriguing. 8: Books. Lovely things, though they have a tendency to bite. Fear not their teeth, for if ye be wary, they cannot harm you. Do things not because you have to but because you want to. 9: If only you were so empty as to feel nothing. Everything you know and love is gone. 10: Oh Kal, you could have been a surgeon serving beneath the bells of Kharbranth. What would have become of you if you had gone there? If you had managed to save Rillir and Tien hadn't been drafted? 11: Hope, when it's over. Sylphrena, if you had been just one heartbeat later... Blackbane, a deadly poison, providing the faintest spark of hope. [I never realised how short Part 1 was. 11 chapters [plus a prologue and prelude]‽ 1-1: That culture is fascinating. They remind me of the Fae. All debts and favors and secrets. White hair, clever tongue, arrowlike face. We know this man. We know where he hides. The King's Wit. 1-2: I want an axehound. I don't care about metaphysical impossibilities, I want an axehound. 1-3: Poor Szeth. Following your oaths as though it was anything more than just a rock. 12: Wit! My favorite character [even when I was a fledgling cosmere fan and didn't know about the extended universe]! Oh yeah, the viewing plateau is in danger. Not that important. 13: Are the Shardblades wet with the moisture in the air or are they wet with the mist they form out of? Could a Shardbearer in the desert [if there are deserts on Roshar] summon their Shardblade repeatedly to get water? Can you take a Shardblade off-world? Why is a chasmfiend's wail multivoiced? The Blackthorn, revealed at long last. Why is chasmfiend blood purple? A very large emerald gemheart! Could someone use the colour from gemstones to Awaken things? 14: Syl is changing. This may or may not be good. Also, Kaladin and Bridge Four are bonding! Huzzah! 15: Pity the bridgemen. Scorn the man who scorns the Codes. Elhokar, you see faces in every shadow. You are wrong. They are not faces, but spiralling fractals. Wit! Wit is mentioned! All hail Wit!

The problem, in my opinion, is one of consent. The spren are not given the opportunity to consent to the fabrial [they are lured in and captured], so it is perceived as wrong by the spren, regardless of the relative comfort of the captured spren.

Has anyone noticed this before??

There is a widespread theory that the Ones Above are future Rosharans. -

I vote for 303 and for 304. I also think that we should vote for each proposed rule sequentially, so 302 then 303 then 304.

[You're supposed to say a word confidently and put the aforementioned word in quotes. That is incorrect. The word is R'lyeh. The page is a list of the fates of the Great Old Ones.]

The existence of that spreadsheet infuriates me. I want six hours with that spreadsheet and an eidetic memory. That would make an excellent present for any and all celebratory holidays. I just want to see that spreadsheet before all of the cosmere is published [because that would be in several decades and I don't want to wait that long].

Given that Alethkar is the recent unification of ten kingdoms into one kingdom with each of those ten groups as "princedoms", they're doing pretty well. If I was taking over several kingdoms, I would have wiped out their individuality. The different princedoms are acting as separate entities, so Alethkar as a whole suffers. It's like when the USA was a new country and each state acted individually with other nations, creating a great deal of confusion in foreign policy.

Completely forgot about that. My apologies.

That sounds fine. Also, we could add an alteration that made it so if a player has not been on for longer than the vote's existence and the vote is at least 24 hours old, they are temporarily not a player until they come back online.

I didn't follow this, and yet I somehow did? This requires further investigation.
