Oh boy, I asked y'all to go easy on me. But then I just remembered that I can PAFO everything. Kill immune unless double-tapped and till the Warders run out of protects, yes. They can still be eliminated by the public vote. Yeah, they know each others' identities. And yes, it's a group PM. Aes Sedai don't, correct. But if the Aes Sedai dies, both the Warders lose their double life. Warders know the roles, but not alignments. They are told about their Aes Sedai's role, it's not up to their discretion. PAFO. Basically means you can add a vote, but only if there is someone in the player list who hasn't voted. No. It registers the Warder protect as an action as well. PAFO. Nope. Just to inform you, only this write-up and maaaybe the Cycle 1 write-up will have plot-relevant spoilers from my end. Of course, players may mention them during RP, so you're wise to be cautious. Hi! Welcome to Sanderson Elimination! If you need anything at all, don't hesitate to ask me! Hope you guys have a good first game. I see you saw the tags.

SPOILER WARNING: Write-up contains spoilers for events till Crossroads of Twilight. A little more than a month had passed since Egwene had tricked and manipulated the Aes Sedai into a war against Elaida. They had tried to disagree and interfere of course, but once the war was declared, the Law of War firm stood. Maximum control of the tower resided with the Amyrlin Seat. They had opened a portal to Dragonmount, and preparations were being made to launch the siege of the White Tower, in case the emissary sent to negotiate with Elaida failed. Egwene had just finished the meeting in which she had suggested an embassy to travel to the Black Tower and bond with Asha’man. Following the events at Shadar Logoth, they could no longer afford inaction. Of course, the suggestion shook the core of the Aes Sedai, but as she had hoped, enough of them were scared by the events- more scared of it than whatever awaited them at Black Tower, to spur them into action. In the end, her gamble paid off, as her call for vote was answered with a greater consensus. Glad, but tired from the night’s proceedings, she heads to her lodging, without a clue about the horrifying events the night had yet to offer. Welcome to QF 50: Return to Tar Valon! This game was supposed to be a rerun of QF22, corrected for the problems mentioned by @Wyrmhero in the aftermath. Well, what ended up as the final product does not look like the original game at all. So consider this as a heavily re-modeled, re-flavored version of that game. This game will be run by me (@TJ Shade if you want anything), and will be moderated impartially by the wonderful Araris (@Araris Valerian). I'll be posting the rules below, but if you're need a doc version, here you go. Signups will end on Thursday, January 14th at 23:30 IST [GMT +05:30] and the game will begin as soon as I can get the PMs and Cycle 1 posted. You're reading their doc wrong. They changed to Ash. Bahh, I was about to wait till the last moment of the previous cycle to send a message that if you're weren't killed, you were likely the convert, and the 3rd Heklo is likely the final elim, but I got busy just before rollover and came back just after cycle closed. Good game Liranil, you had a very good village game. Striker, I always seem to read whenever we play together. Good job protecting Straw. I wish I had asked for protection the turn I was killed. I was glad I got the opportunity to pinch-hit, and thanks to Elandera (you didn't forget Grute!) and Gears for running the game.- 499 replies

Mid-Range Game 47: Conflict of Superiority
|TJ| replied to Elandera's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Yeah I was waiting for your voting choice this cycle to see if I was right about you or not, and now I'm fairly certain. You seem to completely disregard me going after SfS not in last round but the round before. C4, during which elims protected SfS and sacrificed Dannex to keep their Cambric alive. Makes no sense for me to start a push on him or trying to bus a Cambric during that cycle when others tried to deliberately save him. That's doubly baffling you're willing to believe elims would bus their two cycles in a row? Including one with a Cambric? To just what, falsely kill you? Do you see the imbalance between advantages and disadvantage for that? Bus a Cambric to get a villager next turn? Could have easily got one mis-elimination off Ghander or Snip if they're village rather than bus a Cambric to implicate you. And yes, SfS got banned. But I've been pushing for his elimination long before that. And if I was an elim, I definitely would not have bothered with Straw. I think they definitely made a mistake with wasting two cycles killing him for a convert, when he had basically proclaimed as siding with elims, which means his votes and his Dione ability were with you guys which means basically 2 extra votes for you guys, same as converting a vote manip villager. The kills chosen, especially those of Araris and Ashbringer fits with the team of Dannex, SfS, Quinn and Ghander/Snip. And for you to overlook all that and vote for me says you're evil. Quinn Quinn has also been slyly trying to converse with Straw arguing for the benefits of killing him, like she wanted to listen to his end to know good reasons to keep him alive. Worst case scenario with 4 member initial team would put us at 3-3, and if one of Liranil or the other Cambric is converted, each party has one vote manip each.- 499 replies

|TJ| replied to Elandera's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Yeah, I figured you'd answer with some sort of answer like this. It's not exactly a defence. But that's why I want to wait till SfS flips, to talk about this issue. And I'm more sure of SfS because of Dannex's hesitancy to vote for him. Like I said, I think he's the elim Cambric. And I don't think I'm ready to vote out anyone else this round. Striker and Liranil, I read them very much village. Straw is the Spy. You, well, I'd rather see SfS flip before voting for you. That leaves Snipexe and Ghander. I'd rather eliminate SfS at this point.- 499 replies

Mid-Range Game 47: Conflict of Superiority
|TJ| replied to Elandera's topic in Sanderson Elimination
I think Straw meant that he counts as elim because his votes are elim siding, so even if he can't align himself official, all his votes will side with elims so he's like an unofficial elim himself. Also, if SfS is elim, my next suspect is almost definitely Quinn. Just go read last cycle again, it seems that she tried to prevent the elimination of SfS. She was on Liranil for most of the cycle (when tied with SfS). Only after staying on Liranil deemed suspicious (after Straw confirmed her to be the Dione) did she retract. Then Liranil suggested Dannex, and I suspect Quinn went for it, bussing Dannex, a vanilla teammate, to protect SfS, the Cambric elim. Of course, all this would matter only if SfS flips elim. I have a sneaky suspicion that Dannex outed his entire team in his last read post. So, my guess for the elim team is - SfS, Quinn and Snipexe. Please do remember this post if I die and SfS flips elim. Edit: @Straw, think I asked you this before. Aren't you close to your wincon by scanning? How many successful scans have you had?- 499 replies

The only reason why they'd attack Straw is they want that conversion as soon as possible. Maybe they'd have even won if the conversion took place? Makes me think there are only 2 elims left. @Straw, how many of your scans were successful? Still suspicious of Somebody from Sel. Dannex chose specifically to vote for Liranil over SfS despite SfS having 2 votes.- 499 replies

Mid-Range Game 47: Conflict of Superiority
|TJ| replied to Elandera's topic in Sanderson Elimination
If it's 4 elims, we're already a minority. There's evidence of 2 Cambrics and 1 Dione remaining. The Dione was the one who removed a vote off Breaker in C2, so they're probably village, or at the worst, the Spy. 1 of the Cambric added the vote causing Archer to be eliminated. So they're probably evil. Not sure why Cambric!Spy might have caused the elimination. The longer the game goes on, the higher their chance to win, so this Cambric is most certainly evil rather than Spy. And we do not know anything about the remaining Cambric. Reads: Dannex - His retraction of Matrim in C2 looks better now that Breaker flipped village. He could have not retract and hoped Mat to include in the tie. Village read. Liranil - Broke the tie to favor BrightEyes in C2. Village. Quinn - Feels village but I don't know. Sort of paranoid. 4 of the 6 voters on Ventyl flipped village, and the remaining are Liranil and Quinn. If I'm reading Liranil as village, then that leaves Quinn. Surely not all 6 voters on Ventyl were village? Unsure. Straw - Fringe voting + elim kill pattern could be Straw trying to remove influential people early, then village reads later. Mild evil. SfS - Don't think an elim would react in such a way, ie that aggressively defensive. But they did have a final vote on Breaker in C2, which is suspicious because without vote manipulation, it would have caused a triple-tie. Snipexe - Could be a good guess for the Spy. Haven't spoken much. Ghander - Again, haven't spoken much. Striker - General posts feel very village. So I'd say my total elim + Spy pool would be Straw, Quinn, SfS, Snipexe and Ghander. Why, what have they done to warrant a village read? Don't you find their vote hopping weird? The only way to drive discussion is by voting and applying pressure on the person you suspect. Not quite feeling good about this hesitancy to vote to be honest. I feel like you're bussing each other. We have only 3 votes 24+ hrs into the cycle. @Straw, @StrikerEZ, @xinoehp512 thoughts on how the previous cycle turned out and this cycle so far?- 499 replies

Mid-Range Game 47: Conflict of Superiority
|TJ| replied to Elandera's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Yeah, I did but then I had forgotten about the power stealing abilities of the Spy, and after Liranil mentioned it, now I think it's possible that one of the vote manips might be from the Spy. I still do think that there's a possibility that the elims have a Cambric and a Dione. But in that case, I expect a 3 member elim team. Win condition this game is a bit weird. They have to outnumber us in such a way that our vote manippers will not be able to achieve parity. So basically they have to outnumber village + village vote manippers (I think?). That is assuming we do not have another Tenasi Pilot.- 499 replies

Mid-Range Game 47: Conflict of Superiority
|TJ| replied to Elandera's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Because no votes were added or removed from Archer from that point. He had a vote on him, someone added another one and he died. It's not just voting against self-pres by itself. It's voting against self-pres accompanied by the vote Soothed off them which makes me think they knew a vote would be taken off them, and hence they could freely vote without being concerned about self-pres. And yes, I do think the Dione who removed a vote off Breaker is an elim.- 499 replies

Mid-Range Game 47: Conflict of Superiority
|TJ| replied to Elandera's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Hey, I've gone through the stuff till now, and it looks like I've walked right into a massacre eh? Let's get to it. First off all, Breaker, I'd like to tell that whoever informed you about "We don't kill new players early" gave you partial information. It's a norm, not a given. If a new player is behaving suspicious, we'd definitely go after them. And it'd be the same if elims felt a new player is being dangerous in their analysis. This is evident in this very game, seeing as BrightEyes was eliminated in the second cycle. Archer was a prime elimination candidate in the last game (his first game) in C2 as we found him suspicious. Gears was NK'd within the first 3 cycles in his first game here. So if you're dangerous or suspicious enough, you will get killed irrespective of the new-player shield. I also disagree with Quinn when she said Breaker is village because he's being vocal. Just because it happened once doesn't mean a different team of elims would advice the same thing. Or that Breaker would be amenable to the plan of keeping quiet even if they did. Coming to the massacre of the last cycle, I believe BrightEyes killed Matrim as they mentioned suspicion on Matrim multiple times, which makes Ashbringer the elim kill. Maybe there is some accuracy to the suspect pool he arrived at after PoE. I went through the reason for his eliminations, and they seem valid, but I'll talk about them a little later. EDIT: I hit enter by accident, there is a lot more I have left to say. So currently editing the post. Before the vote manipulation, let's look at the last set of votes from the time Elandera posted the last vote count. Person of Interest are Breaker, BrightEyes, Matrim and Xino. So I'll be stating votes in Breaker-BrightEyes-Matrim-Xino format. Time of vote count. Breaker had 5 votes (from SfS, Matrim, Liranil, BrightEyes, and Breaker themself). BrightEyes had xino's vote. Matrim had one from Danex. Xino had one from Archer. 5-1-1-1. Matrim shifts from Breaker to BrightEyes to make it 4-2-1-1. Nothing to analyse as Matrim has since flipped village. Breaker shifts to BrightEyes, which can be seen as self preservation (but later voter will disprove this). 3-3-1-1. Dannex removes vote off Matrim, which seems insignificant compared what happened afterwards, so I don't exactly know what to make of it. I have other reasons to be suspicious of Dannex, which I'll tell later. 3-3-0-1. Liranil shifts from Breaker to BrightEyes. Tie-break gives her good points, but the since BrightEyes flipped village, some of those points have to be docked. 2-4-0-1. BrightEyes removes a vote off Breaker. BrightEyes now leading the elimination comfortably. 1-4-0-1. Matrim changes the vote back to Breaker following the Tenasi Pilot claim. 2-3-0-1. At this point, any sort of vote changing would have to be scrutinized carefully, because we have candidate leading the elimination. Any vote hopping away from BrightEyes will have to considered as an act to tie more people for a mass kill. At this juncture, Breaker moves away from BrightEyes to vote on Matrim, foregoing self-preservation. To possibly hope for a triple tie? Take 2 villages down with him? (Quadruple tie taking 3 villagers if we include the Cambric vote). 2-2-1-1. Breaker changes back to BrightEyes Seeing as no one joined on Matrim, and noticed that the tie would be blamed on them? 2-3-0-1. BrightEyes adds a vote to Xino. 2-3-0-2. Breaker again changes to Matrim. 2-2-1-2. Now that there's a triple tie, he could definitely have been hoping again for someone else to join him on Matrim making it a 4-way tie (5 including Cambric vote). And even if they didn't, there's a 3 way tie, and they'd escape because of vote cancel and someone else would die because of Cambric vote. That's 3 villagers dead only due to the vote, if they had their way. And no one did. This is the reason I'm suspicious of Breaker, all the vote hopping had no intention other than to create a massive tie. I cannot see any other reason for it. They knew they'd be safe because they knew someone with a vote manip would save them. If not there's no reason to vote against self-preservation. They could have vote for BrightEyes or Xino to prevent a tie, but they specifically voted for a player with no votes on them to keep the tie. This makes Xino village in my eyes, because he was supposed to have died in the tie, but was saved mostly by a village Dione who didn't want a tie, or he's a Dione himself. The Cambric is most definitely an elim as no village would have added a vote in that situation. Also, Xino was the one to break the tie for the Ventyl elimination, so I feel that he's moderate village. Removing the dead villagers from the Ash's suspect pool, we have: Removing Xino for the above mentioned reasons. Quinn seems like the games we've played before, so I want to read her as village. But the point is Quinn would play quite similar to the way she's been if he lands elim, so there's no way to know the difference until she lands elim once again. Village for now. That leaves us with Dannex, Snipexe and Striker. Striker defending Ventyl is NAI imo. He's been doing that in all games when Ventyl has come under scrutiny for being chaotic. Snipexe gave a very articulate post of their thoughts in response to suspicion from Straw, which I liked. Would like to see more from both of them. Dannex has been making posts and it seems very much like he's trying to appear village by talking but not actually contributing to the elimination discussion. Some tiny suspicions include Liranil, who was the 5th person to vote on Ventyl, yet gave the reason that it was to prevent a tie. Straw's first post saying "I still stand by the 3 elims guess" felt a little off to me, because I feel like that's a statement someone would make if they're alignment had changed. But that is making deductions based on previous roll, so I won't follow that path. Have a gut read that Snipexe/Straw is v/e in that order. Breaker. For the reasons stated above, and for voting 6th on Ventyl and still giving "Safety" as the reason, when there was no danger of a tie. Not a single thing that Breaker has posted till has told 'village' to me or seemed like it was something that helped the village.- 499 replies

I assume the game doesn't begin with a Highstorm, since you've mentioned D3, 6 and son. Does the cycle get disturbed by the Highstorm Event triggered by the Highprinces? For example, we have normal Highstorm at the beginning of D3. Let's assume that Highprinces decide to have a Highstorm in N3, so we have a Highstorm Event in D4. Does the next regular Highstorm occur as usual on D6, or 3 cycles after this Highstorm on H7? I'm asking because I'm trying to calculate the amount of Days it would take to buy a knife. If a player starts with 3 spheres, and there's a Highstorm event somewhere involved (makes it to 6 spheres), they still need 6 more spheres. The earliest a player can buy the knife is N7 (not sure about OoA, so if kills are before market actions, then the earliest they can use is during N8), provided the Highstorm is the event Highprinces triggers for the second time before other events (earliest possible in N6). And this is the best case scenario, because if someone with zero spheres initially decide they want it, then N9 is the earliest they can get it (again, assuming Highprinces trigger Highstorm event in N6), meaning N10 is the earliest they can use (depending on OoA), which is a tad too late. Because of this, I'd advice against breaking the knife during the Contract of Peace. I'd let them keep it, like the Assassin's Kill. Spy seems a tad bit costly for an action scan. But I'm not going to complain much about the other items as they can be halved by Democracy. Speaking of, when the prices are halved, how do you plan on round off the prices for objects costing odd number of spheres? Round-up or round-down? Also, do Dalinar and Elhokar know each other?
