  1. And that's why we have our HPs figure out elim-y seeming HPs. Though since it's a limited PM game, they'd either have to get lucky to get PMs or have to be sure enough with their reads to out themselves. Hmm, you say PV should be used last, which would be in effect for D7, but then you say it's important because we can put up a v/e train to find elims cause villagers are expendable as there are a lot more villagers. But, at D7, that's not the case, if the game's not done by then, it would very likely be close to the end, and there definitely will not be a lot more villagers than elims at that point. So if the train ends up v/v, that essentially is a loss. Especially since elims can fake their vote using the slipped note.
  2. What accountabilty? And why do Highprinces need to claim that they are highprinces if we are to hold players accountable for their actions? We can do that by just stating the actions (including everyone, not just HPs), there is no need for the HPs to claim that they are one. @Matrim's Dice, can we carry over the action from the day into the night. That is, can we use two actions in the night if we haven't used one during the day? And if we can use two actions in the night, what does the Spy action do? Give both, or give one randomly? Gut elim read on Dannex and Books.
  3. This is wrong, btw. Random Bystander, thoughts on how we should use the events? What sequence would you prefer? And what about items? And I disagree that villagers should horde contracts by the way. It'll take a while for the elims to get their hands on a knife and there's possibly only one assassin with only one kill. To say: It would be a massive waste of village spheres for nothing in my opinion. @Matrim's Dice, can we have two events during the cycle in which we have normal Highstorms? If the HPs choose Democracy! is N2 as the event for the next day, does it mean we'll have both Highstorm and Democracy! during D3? And what kind of actions can we see while Spying? Can we see what kind of items they purchased from the market? And can we see item use as an action? I'll probably be focusing on action scans. For Events, wait, huh HPs cannot vote for Highstorm in N1, because then there'll be Highstorms in two consecutive cycles - D2 and D3 (natural). Don't know if event Highstorm and natural Highstorm can occur in consecutive cycle. Mat, confirm please. If we can, and if natural Highstorm isn't considered as an event, then we can have - Highstorm (D2), N-Highstorm + Democracy (D3), Vengeance (D4 and D5) [if we have multiple suspicion or need to CC lower actives], Highstorm (D5), N-Highstorm + Anarchy (D6), Financial Crisis (D7) [hopefully by then we'd have bought the items we want].
  4. Cycle 5 - Gambit Declined Reva ran hard. She didn’t know if she was being pursued, but she had to reach her superiors. She had to relay what she saw to someone. It was very very important that she did so. Oh Lord Ruler. Allrianne! How- how did they get hold of her? Someone needs to know this. Any needs to know this. A major pawn in the hands of the Venture to bargain. Lord Cett will be furious! She turned a corner, but didn’t even have to look back because she instantly knew she was being followed. She quickened her pace and ran as fast as she could, but she could hear the footsteps gaining. *** Vin immediately noticed a movement as soon as they had sent Breeze and Allrianne away. The sound of the footwear skidding, and the subsequent footsteps were clear to her tin-attuned ears. She looked towards Spook for affirmation, and he nodded slightly. She took off in the direction of the intruder and immediately noticed her pace. She Pushed on some coins and followed her. The woman, Reva, she recalled, turned around a corner and fled. Vin followed and gained up quickly. As soon as she was about to catch her, Reva turned around and landed a blow. *** Reva turned around and tapped iron, putting all her weight in the punch. It landed with a sickening sound and sent Vin sprawling across the ground. Fight or flight? Well, fighting a mistborn would be foolish, with or without metalminds. Besides, I have to stay alive to report the events. She could already see Vin rising up, so she tapped steel and began to sprint. Unfortunately, she did not realize she was trapped while she was focused on Vin, and ran headfirst into Spook and collapsed. She was now surrounded by Venture soldiers, and she couldn’t see a way out. “Wait! I’ve got some news to share with you! Please, I think it’ll help you!” “Well, out with it, then.” snarled Vin, who was now approaching Reva. “What’s stopping you?” “I-I just need a little more time. I need to confirm it, before revealing anything. Please, you have to believe me!” “Believe someone who was running away? Someone who is also a full Feruchemist?” “Tindwyl sent me here. You can ask her!” “She did not. What were you doing here, Reva?” Reva felt tensed as she knew she was running out of time. Her gambit seemed to had failed, as no one seemed to have believed her. “Speak whatever you want to speak now, and wish that it’s important enough for us to keep you alive.” “I- I can’t. It only works if-” Reva did not even get to finish her sentence. Tani was eliminated. She was a Terris Cett Opportunist! Whysper was killed. She was a Venture Loyalist Lurcher! Gears was attacked, but survived! Vote Count: Gears (3): Ashbringer, Devotary of Spontaneity, Tani Tani (3): Flyingbooks, Biplet, Whysper Flyingbooks (1): Illwei Cycle 5 has begun and will end on March 26, at 23:30 IST [GMT + 05:30]. 5. Cycle 3 - Seek and Ye Shall Die Allrianne made her way towards Kredik Shaw, with a skip in her step, seemingly unaware of the danger within. For once, she couldn’t wear her dress, as she had to be disguised as her brother, but that only seemed like a mild inconvenience when she was meeting Breezy. Deliberately carefree, she moved with grace and started singing out his name, while preparing to Riot patience to whomever she faced. “Breezy? Breeezyyyy, come out, come out wherever you are!” *** The soldiers found her first, and naturally they did not recognize her, so they were preparing to tie her when he heard her voice. Breeze came rushing through and was genuinely surprised with what he saw. “Allrianne? What are you doing here??” “Why, I had to see you, of course! Look! I even disguised myself as my brother so I could escape without a problem!” “Girl, what is wrong with you? Do you even- wait, how did you even know to come here? Do you know what we’re doing?” “Sure, I do. You’re here for Lord Ruler’s atium stash, of course”. Breeze looked surprised. “Wait, how do you-” “I mean, that’s obviously a lie. You’re too smart to be leading your enemy to something so precious. So this is obviously a trap”. Now Breeze looked dumbfounded. Allrianne flashed him a bright smile. “Hey, what do you think I was doing when you were off to your meetings, Breezy?” Breeze finally found words that he wanted to speak. “Be that as it may, Allrianne. But it’s still too dangerous out here.” “I’ll fight beside you.” “Fight whom? Your father’s soldiers are out there, you mean you would harm them?” “Hmmm I suppose not. You’re right. Tell you what then, you’re gonna come with me!” “I’m gonna- what??” “That’s right. If you’re gonna send me away, you’re gonna come with. If it’s dangerous for me, it’s dangerous for you. Or let me stay.” Allrianne grinned. Breeze let out a heavy sigh . “This girl will be the death of me.” He looked around and everyone’s faces said “Yeah we’re not having her here, take her away.” Though he supposed, who she was complicated matters a lot more. He looked towards Vin, who gave a slight nod. Sigh “Alright, Allrianne, you get your wish. I’ll come with you, but I’ll only stay for a while. I’ve got to help here, and you very well know that.” “Any time I get out of you is a good time Breezy!” she replied with a smile. “And to make sure you stay put, we’ll be taking one of the Soothers with us well” he nodded towards Tesse. “Allrianne, meet Tesse. She’s just as good as Soother as me.” “Well well, we’re gonna have a good time, aren’t we? Breeze would surely miss me,” “Let’s get going then. The quicker we solve this, the better. I’d get to be with you for as long as you want, but we have to get going now.” And with that, they were off. Breeze figured he’d drop them off, and return quickly, but he suspected Allrianne would make him stay there for quite a while. *** Seekers are a curious bunch. They’re always on the front foot, always too eager in search of something. And when the eagerness turns to obsession, it becomes dangerous. Liranil wouldn’t call herself obsessed, but she definitely did tend to lose herself when in search of something. And in search of something she was. She had felt the pulse of a strange metal. A sensation she had never experienced before. Curiosity got the better of her, and she pursued it. Could it actually be? They said atium isn’t really here, but then what was it that I felt? It certainly wasn’t any basic allomantic metal. I- I have to figure out about this, And that’s how she walked right into the trap. It was atium alright, but it wasn’t Lord Ruler’s stash, it was from one of her enemies. Someone had used it, whether to lure her or not, she didn’t know. But once she knew she was getting closer, she knew she was in trouble, and just as she had deduced that, a burst of coins shot towards her. Matrim's Dice was eliminated. They were Allrianne Cett! Quintessential was killed. She was a Venture Loyalist Soother! Liranil was killed. She was a Venture Loyalist Seeker! 6. Cycle 3 - An End to the Madness Allrianne just made it inside the city walls of Luthadel. She’d been eavesdropping on the meetings between her father and the soldiers, so she knew she could enter the city undetected. Now, she had to make a decision. She had followed around Breeze and listened in to his conversations as well. She looked towards Kredik Shaw, and then towards Venture Keep. Would he still be in the keep? Or would he have already gone inside the palace? It… it doesn’t matter. If he’s in the keep, he’s safe and I don’t have to worry. Having made her decision, she started walking towards Kredik Shaw. *** They walked carefully, making sure they didn’t get too close to the intruders. They needed to close them in, make sure that not one of them escapes the palace. They need to box them in to trap them. They just turned around a corner to find a bruised and bloodied body on the floor, inhaling in large gasps. Vin approached the figure and was shocked to find that it was a familiar face. “Dim? What happened to you? You were with us!” “Pardon, me…..Lady Vin…..got a little too close to a few of them….” He took a deep breath. “I know you asked us not to get too close….but I noticed something….” Another deep breath. “It’s alright Dim, we’ll get you back to the keep and patch you.” “No, Lady Vin… The only reason I held out for so long was in the hopes that you’d find me….They….They have a Mistborn...Lady Vin….or a Coinshot in the least…. They got me….” he pointed to his rib cage where he was bleeding profusely from the coin that had torn at his skin. He wasn’t going to make it. “Lady Vin...I don’t- could you please do me the favor?” he asked pleadingly. Vin understood. Dim was a good man, and if a painless death is what he asked, she would give it to him. He deserved to go out the way he wanted, and she didn’t want him to suffer any longer. She flicked a coin out and nodded her head. “Thank you, for everything, Dim. I’m sorry…” *** Vin flew off. She needed to vent out some energy, and she needed to find the person she thought was responsible. She flew around hastily, trying to find the Watcher, she needed to know if he would hurt her friends. She knew he would, she wanted to hear it from him nonetheless. She burned Bronze and tried to sense him. She pondered over burning duralumin to extend her Seeking, but eventually decided against it. She might require it later There. She felt a barrier that was the coppercloud and followed it. She flew as she burned Steel and Iron as and when required, and finally settled near the dark figure. “Would you kill someone close to me?” she asked firmly The Watcher turned around, seeming only slightly surprised. “If that’s how you’ll stop playing their games, then yes” he replied calmly. “You did it then? You killed him?” “I’m here on a task, and I’ll have to complete it, you should stay out of their games. You deserve better.” “I deserve better? Answer me! Did you kill him?” “We’ll meet again, Vin. Hopefully, you’d have changed your mind by then. Stop letting them control you.” He turned and walked away for a couple of steps, and then he….stopped and turned, wearing an confused look on his face. “You did it...I didn’t think you could. You released me from the cursed life. One way or another, you healed me. The voice was right about you.” Just as he finished, he faltered and fell to the ground, blood pooling around him. Vin stood in disbelief at what she had done, the touch of the steel coin she’d held just moments earlier felt morbidly cold. Archer was eliminated! He was a Venture Loyalist Thug! 7. Nahh, this should be "I'm about to make this whole man's career" cause you literally based your SE career/playstyle off that backstabbing
  8. Couple of clarifications: Coinshots can only redirect the extra target of a Smoker. They cannot redirect self-Smoking actions. Players who do not take any actions are not told if they are redirected. Since eliminator killer is only determined at the end of the cycle, atium only shows one random player voting to kill the atium user, if they exist, at the time they desire.
  9. Cycle Two - Survivors of the Shaw Vin hid in the shadows and observed the Watcher enter the palace. She assumed he would have had his coppercloud switched on, but she could always pierce them for reasons unknown. She’d known that she would meet the Watcher again, and perhaps they would duel again. But the mutual respect between them would have to come to an end soon, if it meant the end of the siege. Perhaps they’d have a final battle right here in the palace, perhaps not. But, the thrill of the flight from their last battle still remained fresh in her mind, and for a fleeting moment, she had the urge to go after him. Patience. There’ll be a time for that. Once she was sure that no one else was coming, she signaled to her team at the side, who sneaked into the Shaw. She Pushed herself onto the spire the Watcher was on a few minutes ago and watched the magnificent view of the city she grew up in. She wouldn’t let it fall. She’d keep the city safe. For Elend, but more personally, for her. *** Udfolt frequently came up to Kredik Shaw for some peace and to clear his mind. He always felt like he could use his coppermind better after a nice quiet time to himself. He walked to his usual spot and sat down with a book, this one he was writing it himself. He was noting down the rise of the Church of the Survivor. He felt like he was witnessing a birth of a new religion and he found it profound that a simple man, Mistborn be as it may, could inspire a large number of people to start a religion in his name. The Survivor was well on his way to becoming a myth. His thoughts were interrupted by voices, which surprised him. Usually, no one really came here, as it was considered a bad practice to visit the place where the Lord Ruler met his demise. He looked around to see an angry bunch of strong-looking people walking towards him menacingly. Confused, he got up to ask what the issue was. “Look! Look, I told you! It’s the terrisman who is always with that Venture kid! He’s here on his behalf to guard or take the atium stash before us” yelled one of the intruders to another. “Ah, it’s a common thing for people to mistake me for Sazed. He’s back in the Venture Keep advising Elend, of course. So you’ll have to go there. Now, if there’s some I could do… What is this, something about atium I hear?” “You’re right, this man is pretending”, replied one of the others. “Lord Cett asked us to stop at nothing, and he seems to be here for a reason. Why else would he be here?” “Now, let’s all talk this through. I was just-” he wasn’t even given the chance to finish his words as he was cut off by the approaching mob of the Cett soldiers.
