Checked back the timing of Elandera's vote on Books, and it's interesting to note that Books changed their vote from Araris to Whysper at the exact same time, so Elandera would not have had that info before she voted. So rolling back to before Books vote, it was 4-3-2 (Araris-Whysper-Books). If her intention was to save Whysper, she could have voted for Araris but perhaps she thought that would be suspicious. I don't know man, I'm confused. 4-3-3 is still not exactly in danger? Maybe elim teammate Araris? I don't see this. I'm keeping my vote though as I'm too tired to think of anything else and that vote was sus especially given it was prior to Books votes knowledge. I was reading Quinn as village but I dislike self-votes as I see them as a way to AtE, so I'm not sure anymore. Village reading Araris. I also have to look more closely at the Whysper-Striker interaction. Edit: I'm traveling and have lost signal. I've hit send but I have no idea when the post will actually be sent.

Yeah I just went back and checked after Quinn's comment on the VC at the time and I thought RandBy's vote was a lot later than it actually was. So I'll join in on Elandera.

I have been extremely disconnected with the game, and I'm voting only for tidbits I saw when I glanced the thread. This was because I thought there was a connection between Tani and Quinn, and was paranoid was to why Quinn survived the night despite being read as village, so wanted to if there was Tani - Quinn connection. Having read Quinn's post (excluding her personal opinions, as in purely recalling the votes) has really helped me recap the events, so thanks for that. However, differing from Quinn, I'm only clearly players based on D2 and not D3, as the flip was waaaay too weird and too coordinate-y (just coordinated? xD) to be all village. So clearing Tani and Books. Tani a bit less because of voting Whysper, unvoting and changing back to Whysper - I have a feeling Tani would be a very bussy elim. Ashbringer, the problem I have is, Ash has been on point with late votes in my game. So if he really wanted to tie the vote, I feel like we would have gotten in before the rollover. Checking the timestamp via developer tool, he was about 8 seconds late, which is enough to make sure that Mat had posted EoD. Just to clarify, I do not suspect them, but I'm not clearing them either. I've already stated that the rollover for me is 5:30am so I won't be on for the last 5 or so hours of the cycle. My voting and unvoting had around 2-3 hours gap. I was more suspicious of Elan but no one followed it up in those hours, so I changed my vote to somewhere it mattered, and someone whom I had suspected in the previous cycle. Again, since I was out of snyc with what was happening and just glancing through posts to catch up, I was following my previous cycle suspicion on Books. And also "late vote on Dannex"? When I'm pretty sure I went to sleep around 1, meaning 4:30 hrs before rollover? This interaction is the one I remember and probably why I think Striker is village, He was the first to state suspicion on Whysper (though granted it was prompted by Archer's "Hey X! What do you think of Y?" and it looked like Whysper voted in retaliation and there was just a back and forth of apologies and okay now that I've completed my thought process I'm getting paranoid of Striker xD But yes, interaction too weird for e/e I think. Bah. Sorta agree with Araris that Quinn might have been a bit too selective, and if Quinn was a elim, she'd mention the teammates who would fall under suspicion but not explicitly focus on them. I'll join him on RandBy/Connie. Also if Quinn is elim, sorta suspicious on Elandera cause it looks she's mentioned but not overtly focused. Also, she seemed way too confident that Araris was village. Edit: Wait This was the VC when RandBy voted? I remember the vote being a lot later actually, when there were votes on Whysper. I'll just check to make sure, because if it is, my sus on RandBy would be lesser.

Well, my MR is over and it doesn't look like anyone has taken the QF, and Ash mentioned a bit of hesitancy I think. Because you said you were trying to bus less often? xD Yeah, well you might not be quite familiar with Araris' recent games, especially in LG72, in which he started (or was one of the first voters on) the train of teammate!Szeth. He wouldn't be my first vote in the next cycle, but he's nowhere near near-cleared for me. Sounds quite similar to what happened with Szeth!Ventyl :P. Who might have been other options that villagers could have jumped along with?

Okay quick thoughts, cause I'm traveling and I'm on phone. Sus of Araris because he abstained from voting for Whysper when she was up for elimination, as he stayed on me. Also, Araris has been AtE-ing quite a bit? Gears sus because of defending. Striker strong village. Ash hmm paranoid me has me thinking he deliberately voted late for Whysper hmm. Agree with sus on RBy. Though she never helped out with votes when I was sus in QF51. I think Elandera is village because as I was reading up on last night's posts my thoughts were exactly like "wth is this sudden flip?" BUT why vote for Books and not Araris if she wanted to affect the elimination? Books hmmmmm yeah I think village. Something still feels wrong about the last cycles voting smhh. Tani also sus.

Sorry, between GMing and work, just been very busy. I thought I'd be free over the weekend, because I had a day off on Friday, but manager has decided to dump work on me, oh well. Just glanced though from where I left off (my vote during D2 -.-) and quick thoughts - Striker, village. Gears possibly elim if Whysper is. Whysper odd but somewhat village? Sus of Tani. Mainly village of Quinn but that one post, she over-explains her read on Tani 3 times in a same post, and when elims over-explain stuff it's usually related to their teammates. That's the only thing I found odd in her posts. So if Tani is an elim, then changing the village read on her. Sus on Books remains from previous cycles.

Well, I'm glad to hear everyone enjoyed the game :') For the elims, irrespective of the OoA, if they submit a kill and a normal action, the kill always takes precedence. So if he submitted the kill on you and the redirect, only the kill would count. You would win as the vote manipulation would go through, provided it's a viable one, yes. They'd have killed Illwei, so the village would be heading into the final cycle leading 2-1-1, and yes, there would have been a good chance that village might have won. Alright, thoughts: Distribution was - yes, it seemed very anti-village. But the larger elim team was to balance the limited info and the inactivity of the recent times. The first time everyone from a team voted to kill was in C6. So my concerns were warranted. Building the game on assumptions is always dangerous, but I thought the game would be fairly self-balancing because my assumption was that as soon as a team loses quite a few members, the other teams would focus less on them and more on each other. It was tricky to balance this game, not just because it was multiball, but also due to the RNG aspect. I'm glad I chose this distro because I balanced it with the goal of wanting all three teams to be in the game for as long as possible, preferably till the last cycle. And the game worked out almost the same way, with all three teams still having a chance to win it in the penultimate cycle. Really happy that the game was so close right till the end. My worst case scenario was hoping that the game wouldn't end after C4. I was, however, tempted to give the village a second Thug, but as Devotary said, I felt 5 double lives in an 18 player game was a bit too much. In the hindsight, I feel like I probably should have given it. Soothers are nerfed. I agree that chances of a player voting for the same player in consecutive cycles is very less. The only successful Soothe of the game was in the last cycle when Illwei Soother Gears (but then Gears says he didn't mean those votes, so not actually :P). However, they can be useful as a semi-vanilla role if you wanted to run a role-madness. Because of the way Rioters and Soothers worked, Seekers were basically not that useful as well. I think only one Seeker scan was successful, and that was via Terris TUO. This could have been a normal role-scan. I feel like the atium mechanic worked really well. It's an accurate way to show canonically similar atium action. My early version was to give the result as and when someone places the action against atium user, but that opens all sorts of problems related to time zones. The best way was to give the user the timing of their wish to receive the scan results. It helped out two elims this game and would have helped save two lives.... if someone remembered to submit the action xD Everyone misunderstood the rules as they thought atium would allow the user to use 2 more metals, whereas my rules implied atium was one of the two metals, so really they could just use their usual 1 metal per cycle + atium. I wonder if 2 would work, but I feel like it'll be a bit too powerful. Especially when atium itself sorta acts like the 3rd life of mistborn if steel is used in conjunction and in the proper cycle. I am staying away from redirects for a long time. xD They are sooo confusing lmao. I planned to have controlled redirection in the beginning, but felt like that would invalidate the Tineye, as redirecting the target to another target of your choice is basically a superior Tineye. Like someone puppeteering a Tineye? So I went for random redirects. Not again for a while lmao :P. I'll probably re-run it at some point, though I'll likely not keep the elims as limited-info. This was... an interesting experience but RNG aspect as well as the team composition makes it difficult to balance and manage the game. It'll probably be 2 normal eliminator teams with elim docs, or with Mistborn not a part of the doc. Annd I think that's it!

Cycle 9 - You Thought It Was Over?? Aftermath: Illwei and Faleast stared at each other, Roko’s temporary body in between them. A body they had killed together. “Faleast? What’s wrong?” Illwei watched as Faleast gave out an evil smirk. “Faleast!” “What did I just say to Roko? Don’t you ever, ever trust me.” Another evil guffaw. Betrayal. Quite common in this business, I suppose. But, to what purpose. She was but an ordinary merc! “Why? You saved my life!” “Oh, that. I just needed you to kill Roko. Wasn’t taking any chances. You know how it goes. The spike says to do things, I do it. It says the koloss army should take the city. I’ll make it so. ” Illwei gritted her teeth. So be it. She gripped the glass dagger as Faleast approached. She anticipated his first move, and dodged as she swiped right back - you know what, I can’t do this anymore xD The game is indeed over. Blame Kas. He mentioned that it was the 1st of April tomorrow (well today for me) and gave me the idea to write up an April Fools’ Aftermath xD I’ll edit the title a little later. Now for the actual write-up Vin trembled as she rattled the doors of the small room she was in as she stepped out. The sound of the battle had died down to give an eerie silence. Vin hadn’t felt fear she did now, in a long long time. What..what even was that?? It .. told my powers were gone? She knew it. Before, she even took a vial and gulped it down, she knew it. It was gone, she could burn no more metals. She remembered feeling empty and blanking out, then later sobbing her heart out. How much time had passed? How long did she sit there feeling nothing? She..she did not know what else there was to do. What else do you have left, when something you’ve known all your life, and is a major part of you is just… gone? All she had on her mind was Elend. She had to get to him. Perhaps this would be a good thing in a way. With her allomancy gone, she’d hoped to be able to understand Elend better. No, no. Think about that later. Maybe...maybe it’ll come back to me in time? Need… to get back… to Elend…. She looked around, trying to shake off her disorientation, and started walking in a direction she thought was right. After walking for a while, she found it to be exhausting. Where am I? Why am I not able to find the way out? She sunk down and just stared blankly around. Her gaze slowly fell upon the white mists entering the room. She scrambled back, as mists always seemed to be wary of her recently. But this time, it was different. It was surrounding her, almost willing her not to give up. She looked up to see a humanoid figure of pure white looking at her directly. It stepped closer and beckoned at her, gesturing her to follow it. Curious, Vin stood up and followed. The humanoid seemed to be a male with an old and sorrowful face. He looked frail, and yet managed a smile that seemed to strengthen her. He didn’t speak. She didn’t think he could, but he was a beam of strength nonetheless. He followed her into the small house she had seen before, and towards the caves which contained the well. When they reached, he ignored the well in the center and walked around it to the far side of the wall. Vin watched him, as he pointed frantically to something on the ground. She hurried over eagerly and kneeled to notice a small bead to which he was pointing at. She looked at him quizzically, unsure how to proceed. The figure then proceeded to point at his mouth. “Eat? You want me to eat it.” He nodded vigorously. With nothing to lose, she swallowed the bead and waited. Then, it happened. She began radiating in a color similar to the figure, though not as strong. Her bruises and injuries all healed up within moments. Do I dare to hope? With shivering hands, he removed a flask of iron and hesitantly downed it. Immediately, she felt the metal reserve and she broke down. She let out everything she had as she cried tears of exhaustion and happiness. After what felt like a long time, she picked herself up. The figure stood there patiently and smiled as she looked at him. “Thank you.” she said whole-heartedly and he nodded his understanding. Elend. With newly found resolve and eager to clench onto her restored allomancy, she burned steel to fly and meet the most important person in her life. *** Illwei was annoyed. She had definitely thought of herself as dead. That was until that distasteful kandra had saved her life. She’d had enough of this life, and she’d definitely had enough of Straff ordering her about to keep an eye on Zane. This time, he had gone a step further. He had actually ordered her to make sure Zane doesn’t return. Old Straff was wise to the fact that Zane had his eyes on atium for himself and if he had managed to win over Venture’s Mistborn, he’d run off with the atium. She didn’t have to do anything, of course. Poor Zane, killed by the very person he loved. But she promised herself that she’d get out of this, and she would. She entered the tent in which Straff resided. He had called her in for the report. He heard the flaps to his tent open “Ah, Illwei. Come in. I hope the matter is dea-” Illwei flipped a knife into her palms and struck at the base of his neck. And just like that, she was out of the tent before he could even finish his words. Finally free. Cycle 8 - Surprise! Random was hounded by the rest of the party. She was the last of the Cett. She needed to get out of this place alive. Today was a massacre. A perfect trap laid by the enemy, but if she could get out and escape, it would be a success. Her allegiance to Ashweather was a farce, of course. Her oaths were to someone of far greater significance. She ran around the palace quickly and slipped away from them. She found what she was looking for, a tiny house in the middle of a large chamber. She entered and rushed through to the trapdoor and under to find herself in a cave. She moved with purpose, sidestepping anything in her way. Survival was the only thing on her mind. She passed by a chamber from which black wisps of smoke arose and escaped. She ignored it, that wasn't her fate, it was meant for someone else. She finally reached her intended place and noticed the small pool in the center. It was close now, the liquid in its pale white color. Just a little bit longer till it's shiny white and ready for the next cycle of events to occur. Her master had plans, plans that meant she had to leave all of these to run it's natural course of events. She did not even turn around to look, the clacking of the heels announced the presence of her pursuers. She took a deep breath and jumped it, nowhere to be seen to her would-be killers. A new world would be graced with her presence. Random Bystander was eliminated. She was a Cett Opportunist Smoker! Okay so I gave glanced through the posts and caught up. Some thoughts: I saw Striker saying ties are good because it forces elim to do something and vote manips can give us info. I disagree with this in the sense that, any info that comes out of the tie vote is not exactly helpful to the village, because then we get locked in discussion of the person who survived and they're gonna hog up the discussion. That sometimes leads to a unanimous one train elimination of the survivor so that cycle doesn't give that much info. Vote manip is always NAI because we always say (and this happens in every single game) "oh they could be elim protecting elim or well it also could be elim framing village" so all it creates it IKYK. Just getting my two cents on the topic out. I'm in fact reading Striker as village. Agreeing a lot with both Quinn and Striker, to be honest. Felt exactly how Striker felt about Whysper. And agreed with them on Araris and Elandera. Araris: When I say I agree with the read on Araris, my initial thoughts were like that. But I started thinking more and that lead to deviation from the reads given by Striker and Quinn. Elim!Araris Stab votes are always always on a villager (if someone recalls different do tell me, I've been trying to remember) and elim!Araris is always content with with his stab votes if someone else votes along with him (look "I stab voted but someone else joined me so I found no reason to change the vote). Analogous to how Araris did not shift off Reading when Illwei was up for elimination in LG74. Did someone ( @Quintessential :P) note the vote count when Araris shifted the vote? If I recall, Archer already had 3 votes, and Illwei had lesser? when he shifted from Araris to Illwei, so I don't know why he would shift there (unless along with a teammate). However, on the other hand, I do remember elim!Araris did change from the initial stab vote on... *checks LG67 sheet* Ventyl (and later Devo) and voted on me to try and save teammate Striker. So there's the other end of the argument as well. But point remains that if Archer had 3 votes at the time of shifting his vote, then I don't see why elim!Araris would shift. @Araris Valerian, what behavior Illwei's did you find similar to LG74? Don't think you answered this. My read on you will probably depend on the answer (and after going back and checking the vote count at the time of switching). If Dannex is evil, possibly evil with Elandera. Whysper: As I said, found my thoughts exactly similar to Strikers. I did find Whysper's response to him a bit odd (couldn't point it out), but then I just realised Whysper hasn't ever been under suspicion on here, has she? I don't think I ever remember her having to defend herself, so that maybe it. One of the points I'm reading her as village is because of the reasoning she gave for the suspicion on Dannex (shading misunderstandings) is exactly why I gut read Dannex as elim. Elandera: Other than her vote, I think she definitely played up how Illwei gave village reads. She said along the lines of "it was suspicious that Illwei have too many village reads too quickly" whereas it was only Araris, and Archer? Archer: Was reading Archer village in the beginning but as I caught up, he felt more and more like QF49 Archer hmmmm. Book: Probably my strongest elim read. There's something realllly off about them. The best I can explain is that they seem too eager to help about mechanics and rules to appear villagery, but have not actually given an reads and thoughts on players or the situation of the game. (Voting for Elandera because no one seems to be feeling the same about them) Gears: I remember something tiny nagging me from before when I was caught up with D1 during D1, but I can't find what it was. Quinn: Village, but sorta feels like how I village read her in MR47 in the beginning before recalibrating my read. Moderate but wary village. Dannex: He said that he wasn't around for EoD to self pres, but the point remains that he did vote on Tani when it was 4-4, so if he knew he wasn't gonna be on later, why no self pres? My suspicion on Dannex was off a single line that Whysper mentioned. Infokill is necessary because there's zero indication of v!Dannex, but infokill cycles are not so much informative about the voters because everyone argues for an info kill and reasoning for the vote becomes NAI. RandBy: My vote on RandBy was pure CC. We always manage to vote out very active players early and that's not optimal, so the vote was an activity push. Hence, I tried conversing more after her initial reply, but to no avail. I meant to change it but I zoned out of the game. Ashbringer: Need to see more. As many argued - v!Dannex is NAI for Ash whereas e!Dannex is strong village for Ash. FMN: @forget me not, which of your teammate/s asked you to vote for Illwei? xD Okay more seriously, can you explain in some way why Illwei felt off to you? Striker: Posts seem village as I agree with him on more than one occasion. Action-wise the whole wanting a tie, breaking a tie, wanting a tie again makes sense only in a case where elim!Striker decides to bus teammate Dannex, then changed his mind... But...why would he break a tie to bus? Massive village cred at the cost of a team D1? I don't think so. And again, depending on Dannex flip. Tani: I'm not sure. Village cases say an elim would not advocate for no-vote D1 but while that maybe true... I don't know. Unsure. Rollover is at 5:30 am for me so this might be my last post for the cycle, I may come back in a couple of hours if I'm awake. Edit: Just saw all the ninjas. I do prefer to vote out Dannex over Whysper because... (I gotta go back and check other's reason) while Whysper did seem odd in that defence post, I don't know think that's enough of an elim indicative and at this point Dannex death gives us more information. I prefer Books and Elandera over the info kill though.

Cycle 7 - Rioter's Block Devotary had worked her magic like a charm, Rioting anger, frustration and rage among the Straff leading to mass carnage, and almost to the brink of Straff self-destruction. Almost. Of course, she didn't expect to go this far as she had to finish them off before they knew what was happening and got their Smokers to block her off. She was lucky though, she had found someone else. Lan MinRai was from the Ventures of course, but that didn't stop them from teaming up. On the battlefield with a common enemy and a common goal to survive, anyone can become your ally. And allies they were as they forced the Straff into a frenzy caused so many casualties. And then the Smokers had come in force, blocking off their emotional allomancy, and that was that. Devotary and Lan made their last stand and faced down the remaining Straffs till they couldn't. *** Obliteration was tired of this war, he was tired of this world too. Scadrial, where you can eat metals safely. He sighed, a simple breath from this Terrisman he inhabited. He was a good servant, even though he had an annoying accent. The waste of killing these mistborn was quite annoying, but that was how it was. When he strolled down an alley, he heard a clank. He turned quickly. Someone was in the alley, perhaps they would Obliterate this body? That would give him an excuse to leave without running away. Perfect. "Well, get over with." Someone moved. "Heh? What are you doing in my alley?" An old poor skaa was there. Obliteration walked forward and pushed him over. "Get out of my way," he said, much too late. He walked into the street, when he did so, he saw someone running towards him. "What is it? Have they finally decided who to Obliterate today?" He called. As the person got closer, he responded. "Yah, they decided." Obliteration nodded, annoyed as the person got close to him. "Who is it?" The man smiled for some inexplicable reason. "You." He stabbed forward and the body dropped. Obliteration rose, just a floating clump of Investiture now. Well, he thought, I guess I have an out. He teleported away. The Unknown Order was eliminated. He was a Terris Straff Mercenary! Flyingbooks was killed. They were a Venture Loyalist Rioter! Devotary of Spontaneity was killed. They were a Cett Opportunist Rioter! Vote Count: The Unknown Order (3): Flyingbooks, Ashbringer, Devotary of Spontaneity Devotary of Spontaneity (1): Illwei TUO's part of the RP was written by them, so go upvote them. Cycle 6 - R8 All hell broke lose. The Cett and the Straff had discovered the way to go further deeper into the palace from the main chamber, and they were fighting each other to death. Coins flying, mistings raging and calming, sword against sword, spears jutting out of bodies and wooden shield slamming onto faces. It was basically a bloodbath. Pisa was quietly lurking in a corner, watching the proceedings. Ventures had sent them of course, they had done a good job off turning their enemies on each other, talking advantage of their greed. And now to just watch and report. Pisa was wary though, the crowd was getting unruly by the second. They looked around for any danger, and satisfied that they did not have anything else to report got up leave. Just to face another smaller set of mobs trying to move closer. They looked around, trying to figure out a way through, to see if they could get around them but they found nothing. They backed away slowly, as the group advanced. They glanced back to look at the larger crowd. who seemed very close now. And with the mob ahead of them relentless, they knew they were trapped. They raised their hands in surrender and burned copper to show they were harmless. Sadly, it was to no avail, as Pisa was quickly overcome by the crowd. Biplet was eliminated. She was a Straff Mercenary Tineye! Shard of Reading was killed. He was a Cett Opportunist Seeker! PizzaPower55 was killed. They were a Venture Loyalist Smoker!
