sooooo many regulars? I derped so hard this game lmaoo xD i thought it was role-madness, which is why I claimed I had role in D1, and almost claimed what the role was then. Well, I think this is the first elim sweep I've been a part of, so that's been fun, finding elims with almost no connections to each other xD Also, it was an exercise in restraint as I usually always use my role, even vote manip, each cycle. So knowing when to hold back as a villager is v important. Good game guys, and yes Arelene doc was v fun to hang around with the lads.

Kas, I'mma need you to stop looking at my actions as 'could be possibly evil' and start taking actions and then reading alignment off them. Less "hey he could have done this if he was evil too" and more "okay he has done this, now what does it say about his alignment". I was lurking at the end of D1 too, because again, I wanted to look till the last minute to decide if I should vote-shift or not. You'll recall that I asked you and shadow to stop talking in the doc immediately after the cycle was over because you guys were talking into the rollover. Another thing is there were like 8-9 players viewing the thread during EoD2 (didn't observe keenly on who among them were still playing) but still a large enough pool for e!me to take a bet on killing multiple player once and/or saving Illwei. There's no way elim!me not protect Illwei after not protecting Archer in the previous cycle. And not protect shadow on top of that. That's just purely self-destructive elim-play. If I understand correctly Tani target-scanned Baker last cycle and came up with nothing. And one Fjordell scanner scanned another Fjordell player and came up empty? My PoE right now is <Bort, JNV> , <Baker, Sibling>, <Tani, Devotary>, <Mat, Kas> Let me know about my Forging. Currently leaning towards shifting a side-train vote onto JNV to make it 4-4. Edit: Wait, what? xD I thought it was so I could shift votes from the 4 to the 2 to make it 3-3-3 to clear players xDD

Okay my re-read has been a mess, it's all over the place but I'll just tag stuff whenever I need to comment on them and not make a huge multi-quote mess, so first - This does not look e/e with Illwei, imo. (+ I want to say that the stuff about Tani hunting for the player typing stuff in wrong color and voting on them feels village)

I'm a village Forger, showing restraint not to use my action to go against consensus because I wasn't confident enough in my votes. If I was an elim Forger I could have saved 3 elims in each of the 3 cycles. In addition to that, I could have killed 3 more players in D2 with a single vote-shift (which is the reason I was observing EoD stuff carefully, so that if I do send in an order to shift votes and there are some last minute vote changes in thread, it could have lead to multiple players dying). There's no proof that I am a Forger, but I can easily prove that in this cycle. I think I've already mentioned this xD but yes Kas' strong village read on Orlok is what added probably 20% of the 80% I mentioned I was sure that Orlok is village. (Except for D1 vote) I work with content bro. I discern guilt from volume of content, and Illwei basically had barebones of content compared to Mat. I wasn't clear given the time constraints but I was looking for her reasons to vote on Archer and her opinion on Illwei specifically, so I was confined to a D1 and D2 content search. She stated in the thread (and in the doc) that she had flagged certain stuff from Archer which she found suspicious, so I was search for these things she had flagged but I couldn't find it anywhere. And yes I was in the doc at near-EoD, but I was on the Docs app on the phone, so I donno if it makes a difference in terms of visibility.

Okay, no. Need more time to read shadow and don't wanna cannibalize into my own doc. I'm gonna go for pure bad vibe vote on Bort cause I don't know what to do anymore.

I've been arguing against e!Aman the entire day in the doc. You can ask Kas and Orlok. Mat, agreed that shadow is the player I trust the least in the doc but it's possible that our doc is uncompromised.

Okay, seriously. Where's the logic in this? If you believe Aman is village and you're village you just want to cost the village 2 of our own?

We've been discussing Aman for like 24 hours and I'm probably the least convinced out of the four of us, so I've been playing the role of devil's advocate. And honestly, they have a response for any issue I've brought up and I've come up empty more than a few times at things that show e!Aman, their reasonings make sense. I don't sense any maliciousness in their arguments in the doc. It doesn't seem to come from an elim mindset i.e. it doesn't feel like a witch hunt. I'm very very sure that Kas is village, a bit less sure about Orlok but I'd say I'm 80% sure he's village. And since I trust them, there are no better players to read Aman accurately than them. So I'm backing them in this, I trust their ability to read Aman more than I trust mine.

Kill Thaid "too"? All tied vote deaths weren't a thing when you voted Thaid in D1. Which means you're lying about your intentions. Striker

I tried quoting this on mobile and it all quoted like one jumbled mess but @Orlok Tsubodai, this is pertaining to post #64 - Devotary's. Why is she villager in 'Perceived AI' column? You've only used 'villager' when describing confirmed villagers' posts.

Bah, sorry guys. I really didn't put my all into the game, and basically did zero back-reading. Having said that, I'm glad I was able to change Mat's mind in the last cycle even though it didn't matter in the end. Smh I just wish I had stayed on the one paranoid theory I dismissed because that Orlok retraction was weird as heck xD Good game, elims! I don't think I had any of you figured out, and Mat was the one who pointed me in Aman's direction. Also there should be a rule that you don't survive a tie if you have survived a tie before in the game xD Sorry Stick and Archer for tunneling on you guys with the bus theory :P. This was one of the bad village games >>

Yes, that too, but I was v-reading you prior to D2 cycle based on your content I mentioned before that I had an MR57 reason for v-reading you but couldn't remember if I said it here too or just in the doc, so I thought I'd explain it here.

Broskis I'll be busy till Saturday, predominantly on phone with limited laptop access so I'll just be chipping in from the phone now and then. Current thoughts is I donno where we go from here because Mat's annoyance that he couldn't do more in D1 felt genuine and Devo... I really have no clue. With regards to the MR57 reason for not voting on Archer, it's because I tunnelled and almost got him MLed in that game, which made me want to be more careful and take more time to solve his slot accurately as I didn't want to ML him as early as D1 (stating this would have shown I was village in MR57, which is why I couldn't say this). I also think my village read on Aman is mainly due to how different he feels in this game when compared to MR57.

Any reason why your gut is going with Devotary? Gut reads come with reason too, because rn it looks awful lot like a Mat-protection vote because it's unprompted, sudden, and without a reason.

Okay huh, I did not know this. Probably missed this reveal somewhere but till now I was thinking Exp claimed elim without the knowledge of his doc-mates. Because point of reaction-testing is that no one knows as they don't manufacture reactions. Which... is a point for e!Matrim (because the logical assumption for anyone to make was that the point of reaction-testing was that no one knew, but the fact that he guessed it was a voted thing hints at TMI from Archer, like Aman is saying). But it also points at e!Devotary because she puts in a slam-dunk-no-questioned-asked vote on Exp after the reveal which hints at the wanting to generate a similar reaction to what Kas expected villagers to react to his AG8 gambit, which further shows she knew Exp claim was incoming, again hinting at TMI from Archer. And now I'm unsure because this shows Devotary and Mat to be e/e but their on-thread interactions are very much not e/e and now I'm just confused. xD

Okay okay I'm here omg, you know I do tend to get detached from games at times till D3 >> @Amanuensis and @Kasimir, with regards to my Devotary read, I'd like to be clear because it wasn't hedging or the sorts. Elim!Devotary has a very clear meta - be quite, don't gain attention, coast along the game by chipping in interesting seemingly-helpful tidbits now and then, which often ends up resulting in Devotary being the last standing member of her team. Bussing (especially D1) is also not a part of e!Devotary meta. Devotary busses only when the elimination is a foregone conclusion. In D1, she particularly saved e!Illwei when there was a tie in a fairly recent game. So, by hopping onto the elim claim, she immediately brought attention to herself - which is why I said it's a weird thing for e!Devotary to do. This means two things - either she's village or she's playing this evil game very different to her usual meta. And because I think it's latter rather than former, I placed her in my evil list. And I came here to vote on Mat, but then see he's defending me in last page smh >> I do think Mat's been suspicious because I've not seen him defending players like this before, and there seems to be no one he solidly suspects. Usually he'd be a bit more firm about his suspicions by now, but he does seem self-aware that he's been defending more than accusing. More self-awareness is a possible elim alignment indicative, I think. Mainly though, this is what triggered me in the first place - This re-affirmation looks very bad to me, like he was caught making a suspicious statement and when Devotary asked him in a way that it showed how ridiculous the statement was, he knew backing down would make it even more suspicious and he doubled down on it. Matrim's Dice Some other thoughts - I no longer v-read Striker. There's something weird going on between Striker/Araris/Tani and I'm not sure what. @StrikerEZ, why is Tani in your conf-V tier? And Kas, I really can't say why I wanted to take more time to read Archer without mentioning it in conjunction with MR57.

Sigh, I'm done. Like Kas says, thread-brawling with Aman is bound to be an L. My main points were towards Mat anyway. I'm just imploring you to make a careful decision. I feel I've done my best. Just for the record, I didn't get Mat to do anything, and don't shorten the reasons to just this. It was a combination of re-reading D1 and realizing Xino felt village + my next suspects on this list were Thaid, TUN, you and Mat, with TUN and you being the only votes that would get support, and I preferred to vote you out over CC-ing TUN. Mat PMed me asking how on boarding I'd be for Aman lynch, and asked to look at him if Mat was killed. I said I had him in second tier suspicion and that I was starting to look closely at him, then I re-read D1 and dismissed xino and decide to go for Aman among my list of suspects because of the above mentioned reasons. This reeks of Hyena btw.
