Cycle Seven - Guess Who's Back! Illwei rubbed her eyes as she woke up and looked around. She was all alone and there was no one else on the ground. Her folks had left her behind again, when she could've been easily found. Oh well let's move, no time to mope, maybe they're over that mound? Let's hurry it up, and catch them soon and my family I will surround Or maybe this ends in a sad story, and they've fallen to the ocean and drowned! JNV was eliminated! They were a Regular Reckoner Ally! Thaidakar the Ghostblood was killed! He was the Reckoner Ally Epic - Bullseye! STINK was killed! He was the Corrupted Epic - Shadowtrap! Illwei is back! Please welcome her return to the game. Vote Count: JNV (6): Araris Valerian, Devotary of Spontaneity, STINK, Szeth_Pancakes, Thaidakar the Ghostblood, Orlok Tsubodai Araris Valerian (1): JNV Cycle 7 has begun and will end on February 24, at 22:30 IST [GMT + 05:30]. Hi Wei!!! Definitely won't ask you to reveal GM PM wordings because I did that once to a new player and felt v bad. Also I'll get banned I feel better about Steel for voting for my suspect (uhhh though now they say they voted for wrong reasons). I recall Drake and Archer both on Steel and both shifting to Thaid later. Votes on Steel all came at the beginning of the cycle and since 2 of them on Steel shifted to Thaid, it doesn't make sense for them to attempt to bus Steel so early in the cycle and then back off and shift to protect e!Steel. I'm reading the shift less likely to be v-e and more likely a v-v shift when elims realized they had a chance to send off the claimed Hazekiller.

@Kasimir, that train was so poor in reasoning - retaliatory poke from Szeth, retaliatory poke from Fifth, and a vote from Thaidakar without reasoning. Add in the fact Stick's train was in the front for around 24 hours and no attempts were made to move any votes. And I preferred to vote out TUA over Stick because I did think TUA's post was weirdly aggressive, but I didn't mention anything and dismissed it as I thought it was my personal bias speaking. But Stick mentioning it as well added to the fact too.

Will reply to stuff later but first, did you not vote on Biplet for the same thing? I might have misunderstood that vote. Also, I don't read it so much as starting a new train as much as staying quiet/under the radar but while voting. Also also, when looking at the train - I'm village, I was reading Thaid as village, talked about Fifth/Stick more likely to be v/v than e/e. On Stick's train, TUA flipped green, that leaves Szeth.... which was a retaliatory poke and I don't know what to make of it. So, where are the elims?? They've got to be no-voting or side-voting. So it's not that starting a new train is in itself elim indicative, it's that in this game, in the first cycle, the circumstances dictate that elims are likely to be voting there. And from there onwards it's assumptions and PoE which I explained in the post I voted.

Basically this ^ Uh, no I voted for you because you're one of the players who started a side-train after the main trains were developed. Understanding the context here, and going back to re-check the conversation surrounding the post, I'm willing to think this explanation is genuine, and that it wasn't likely a slip. Can understand the hypothetical situation explained here. I'm finding it hard to get into the game and RL schedule isn't helping. I need to wake up early tomorrow, so I'll likely be on for the rollover. I'm happy with the vote on Archer, however. Didn't like their vote on Thaidakar either.

Cycle Six - Annie Without An E Blasting those pesky Reckoners away was smartly done, but she wasn't clear. She'd thought she was, but no, she had underestimated just how annoyingly persistent they were, even without the ones she'd killed. She needed more time for her plan to work, she needed - The doors burst open and Vexcave came running in. "Anni, they're here. They're - " "HOW MANY TIMES HAVE I TOLD YOU NOT TO USE THAT NAME" Vexcave cowered, but continued. "Alexis. He's here and he's coming for you!" "Have we figured out what he can do? HOW IS THERE NO ONE WHO KNOWS WHAT HIS EPIC POWERS ARE??" "No. Temperate is trying his best, but even then, he can only do so much." "Fine, I'll deal with him. Charge is nowhere near enough, but I'll try, take cov-" And just like that, without a hint, Annihilation fell to the ground just as Alexis stormed in, with rage and tear-filled eyes and he gave everything he had to avenge the death of his loved ones at her hands. _Stick_ was eliminated. She was the Corrupted Epic - Annihilation! Illwei was killed! She was a Regular! Dannnex was removed from the game [he was attacked as well!]. He was the Reckoner Ally Epic - Big Bully BroncoBuster! Vote Count: _Stick_ (4): Araris Valerian, Devotary of Spontaneity, STINK, Orlok Tsubodai Illwei (1): _Stick_ Araris Valerian (1): JNV Devotary of Spontaneity (1): Thaidakar the Ghostblood Szeth_Pancakes (1): Illwei Cycle 6 has begun and will end on February 22, at 22:30 IST [GMT + 05:30]. Quick points, because I'm travelling and might lose connection [will be busy tomorrow and might be free only after my game's rollover] This is something I noticed and was waiting to see if someone else did - Nitpicky, but I find this glaring, and think @Steeldancer has elim-slipped here. I found it very weird they used the term 'team-mate' instead of 'village' in the sentence. @Matrim's Dice was hypothesizing Stick/Fifth as e/e. I wondered about it myself, but then you'd have to ask where are the other elims? Why did it come to the point of e!Fifth having to retract a poke vote on e!Stick to save her?If Case-A is Fifth/Stick e/e, then case-B in case case-A is wrong is general apathy from the elims when it came to D1 lynch. In this case, I'm looking at players who voted in side-trains AFTER the two main trains [TUA-Stick] developed - players being Steel [on Matrim], Biplet [on Tani] and Archer [on Biplet]. Less elim credence on Biplet because there was a post in which she asked people to join on her, which shows more involvement than the other two. Steeldancer has already accumulated a lot of votes but no one else seems to have caught the slip, so would appreciate opinions on that. Archer Edit: Now that it's sent, the post may seem hasty as it was rushed to hit send before losing connection

Catching up and re-reading the thread - Considering that multiquote!Fifth ends up getting trusted too early too often and no one revaluates their reads and he ends up burning them, I consider this a good thing >> You object... to my village read? xD One, it's not that you're free with info, it's the type of info you're free with. Two, and more importantly, I was providing context to my gut read. How I felt when I read that post. Something Drake-ish is going on here xD Some more thoughts - I know you retracted this, but what does this exactly mean? A small but an important point in favor of JNV is - I believe Augury is more likely to come from a villager's mindset than an elim's. I was thinking about it myself, inspired by LG66 Magestar pulling something similar, but it's not likely JNV had this info. Not willing to vote for them in D1. Votes on Stick are... ret. poke, no reasoning aaand ret. poke :P. Not entertaining this too. Tani, you seem enough self-aware that you felt the need to clarify you were not an elim. Then why vote on Bort when we give leeway to returning players? It seemed like a joke vote at first, but it's been awhile now and it's still there. @Tani Edit: Started this post a while ago and had work in between and didn't click on "go to new message" things so there's ninjas - I was about to comment on that post and must have missed it, but yeah. I was gonna say that item claims should always be treated supplementary to post reads and vote analysis, not a primary and surefire way to suspect but more so to assist the reads we get from posts and vote situations.

Cycle Four - Skmurphy's Law Skmurph's had been caught and he had nowhere to go. He scampered, trying to get his things in order. He had to cover his tracks, burn them, burn it all down. The walls were closing in and he had to make sure there were no traces. "That's enough, Incinerator." Skmurph turned, transforming from a majestic polar bear to a thin, gangly man. "Mistress, I did everything that was from me mistress! I promise. I snuck in and burned everything down". "You gambled. You spoke one too many a lie. You have threatened our very existence." "NO! You are DONE! As soon as the Redeemer finishes with the - " Vexcave paused as if waiting for something. BOOM! "-that. Come it's your turn." *** Elsewhere nearby, a large glacier shifted, broke off, and swayed away from the mainland towards the cruel Southern Ocean, carrying it's occupants to a cold, frosty death. Archer was eliminated. He was the Corrupted Epic - Incinerator! Amanuensis was killed. He was a Regular Reckoner Ally! Kasimir was killed. He was the Reckoner Ally Epic - Cobb! Experience was killed. He was the Reckoner Ally Epic - D-Coy! StrikerEZ was killed. He was the Reckoner Ally Epic - Prestige! Devotary of Spontaneity was attacked, but survived! MintSilverTea has been removed due to inactivity. They were a Regular Reckoner Ally! Vote Count: Archer (10): Kasimir, Araris Valerian, Ashbringer, Tani, Devotary of Spontaneity, _Stick_, JNV, Amanuensis, Thaidakar the Ghostblood, Orlok Tsubodai Amanuensis (2): Illwei, Archer Cycle 4 has begun and will end on February 18, at 22:30 IST [GMT + 05:30]. Hi y'all I'm here. I'll be more focused on GMing so I might take time to catch up on stuff - but couple of thoughts That Thaidakar claim xD *sigh* I don't see it coming from an elim honestly. It - it just came off so naturally as a response to Mat's joke claim. Speaking of Mat - I read this in exactly the opposite of how I read e!TUA in LG73 [for context, TUA was very forthcoming of his actions and stated he'd be adding to the camps defense without prompt which I read as an attempt to appear villagery]. This post feels like the opposite end of that spectrum, so gut-reading Mat as village. Also - @StrikerEZ, what happens when you have Pewter and you're burning Aluminum and get attacked? xD Well..... [This is just a joke, and a chance to share one of my favorite songs in a musical, not revealing my item target ]
