  1. Oooh wow. Faleast must be a Spinner or something. The funny thing is, at that point even a rolescan would have done the trick - I had no “role” because my Pulsing was gone, which would have made it preeeeety obvious what had happened TJ, I bursted you because I needed to do some tracable action... although keeping my mouth shut about Brute storing and bursting Mage would have been a better play, but riskier. And you were usually going after inactives, especially since I thought you hit Elkanah instead of Matrim. The game was really balanced, I felt. Boxings were really fun. Maybe alter the charge requirements for some roles like Bloodmaker, buff Spinner/nerf Slider, and give the kandra something special... maybe give it a scan, or have it innately know alignments and has to play them off each other? In the meantime, Faleast and AraRaash are still alive and kicking, although they’ll have to get Faleast’s bones back. Perhaps they’ll go visit Roshar...
  2. I had figured Mist’s Village Core Elim had to be Pyro, because it couldn’t be TJ the Coinshot and Mage made no sense. I was trying to get you to confirm that by pushing his kill. I honestly didn’t mean to kill you Pyro. That’s what I was trying to tell Mist in my overly-cryptic message about my action failing. I submitted a kill on Pyro, then went to change it to Mage at the last minute (literally), only for someone IRL to ask me something and make me put my phone down... then as soon as I get the chance to type the little popup of Striker closing the turn came... Then I thought that would be a really wierd night with 4 attacks and survives (Pyro surviving my hit, me surviving Mage’s retribution, Mage surviving TJ’s hit, and Mist surviving the Elim hit.) But no, you died and then it was over for Mist. The result, however, is that me and Araris killed more Elims than the village put together Araris hit Xino (Kandra 1, PRE 0). Village!Me started the Ventyl lynch and Kandra!Me made sure to finish it (Kandra 2, PRE 0). Both me AND TJ hit Kynedath (Kandra 2.5, PRE 0.5). TJ hit Kidpen (Kandra 2.5, PRE 1.5). I hit Pyro (Kandra 3.5, PRE 1.5). Finally Mist, for a total of: Kandra 3.5, PRE 2.5
  3. Suprise! I'm the Kandra. Good to know that AraRaash survived all the chaos. Although I do have a bit of explaining to do for Mist... I'll get to that once I see how many "Wait, ASH is the KANDRA?!" 's there are in the spec doc... Kidding, mostly. This was awesome.
  4. Now that I think about it I may be stuck on mobile for most of the first few cycles, but I think I’ll manage.
  5. Hmm. Oracle is what Pyro told us. Skimmer storing is iron, but that makes sense... I think. So because your Skimming let you evade the action, the Oracle power couldn’t catch who did it? Did anyone use an action on Lahilt last night? I guess I’ll say my end of this. TJ wanted to be able to lynch Mist if needed, and he was worried that Mist was Thug/Skimmer, so I Pulsed him to prevent him possibly dodging the Coinshotting. There’s also [REDACTED], but I don’t think that matters anymore.
  6. You know... fair. I’ve always been up in the lynch for most cycles. You know who I Pulsed last night (or the one everyone was suggesting me to, if I didn’t say it outright in the PM), and it seems to have let the Flip go off correctly. Maybe Lahilt should just threadclaim? I feel like the role I think he has isn’t the same you think, unless you know his F-role.
  7. Ummm... I really don’t like this. This is weird and it came from nowhere. Is there even a reason we’re lynching Ventyl? Sorry Striker, but you’re my only lead and I need to put a vote somewhere.
  8. Now that I'm looking, I think Striker has been kinda suspicious. He voted on TJ with no real reason, and when asked by TJ why he only said he thought that TJ was "being defensive", which I don't see. In his last post he mentioned that he might be tunneling, but he's left his vote there so far with no other suspicions. I don't know if that's normal or not. Why would TJ not be defensive? Nobody really wants to get bandwagoned early in the cycle, Village or Elim, and since no one else was up for the lynch at that point it's not like he could do anything to shift the lynch off him aggressively. His only real course was to try and defend himself and offer another target (Mint), which is exactly what he did, and the Village accepted it. I think that's NAI.
  9. Blast, how did my brain look over this twice. I'm on it. As for anything else to say... Mage, why do you suddenly think I'm suspicious? I Pulsed last night as requested, and it appears to have worked. Also, isn't Lahilt's apparent role always self-target? Or did Pyro tell us different things?
  10. Okay, I managed to read through this a little earlier than usual (relatively speaking) (Nevermind, thank you Alleyverse), and here are some things that stuck out for me. -Lotus almost immediately voted for TJ. I still don't see where TJ's alignment has anything to do with Pyro's flipping Village, but people seem to be taking it either way. Lotus seemed to have a genuine, if perhaps faulted, reason to suspect TJ, but still is odd. Probably a new player excitement. -Gears posted right after TJ voted on Mint saying that he "must" vote on Mint. Gears, you seem to have been leading analysis for a while, and now you just follow TJ's vote. Same with Vapor to some degree. -Mint responded to a lynch train by voting on Shard of Reading, who will likely get killed by the inactivity filter. Gears and TJ are the main ones doing analysis for now, with honorable mentions to Straw and Striker. But TJ was in a tight spot no matter what his or Pyro's alignments, and I feel like he reacted as a Villager should. But I'm not really the one to ask. However, it seems like people are just using TJ's analysis in order to lynch Mint. Which doesn't bode well. ... and I waited too long to post this and everyone's already said this. I don't want to lynch Ventyl... again. I did that last time. I could be convinced to join a train, but I'd need to find a reason (Besides that it could be interesting for Clan Etteax and Clan Faleast to start a feud leading down to the era of LG66...). Mint, it seems like all the analysis is coming from TJ, which could be interesting when TJ's alignment is revealed but as of now is just kinda weird. But I also don't like quickly lynching a target who isn't on to defend themselves like Truthwatcher, and people "pledging" to lynch Truthwatcher without moving votes is also kinda weird. And the results are in: this is all setting off my this-is-weird detector. I will say, votes on Experience / Sparkrunner / maybe Shard? will do us no good in the end. I'll look at the targets to see where my vote goes.
  11. "We should have that, although they'll be intended for Feruchemy instead of Compounding. You may want something bigger," Poller said, hopping off of his chair. He grabbed his bronze staff - Cassie had made it for him, and it did fit him fairly well. A large chunk of bronze for metalmind standards, but Poller needed his abilities more than the average Sentry. He ran over to the aluminum section. "It should be... right... about... here... no, right here," he said, pulling out an aluminum bracelet. "15 chrysts apiece. If you want something bigger, we also have bracers somewhere in here, or Ms. Adama can Soulcast some to your liking. When she gets back."
  12. Byron looked at Aln, voice clamming up as she left with the man Folorian. "I... I'll..." Oh, what was the point. He had barely any idea where she was going, something about a garden, and he was free to stay or to go. Go galavanting off on another adventure where who knows what could go wrong, or stay in a place for scholars and people who stayed alive by reputable business instead of theivery and tenacity. Byron sat on a nearby bench, and held his head. He'd have to think about this. You could have everything you would ever need, but also have so many people to "watch over" you. His bubble slipped a few notches and the world's edges blurred. He needed to figure out this on his own.
  13. Lerasium would fix the missing Slider problem, although I don’t know if having used it would show up in the death role reveal. And I doubt Pyro or anyone could have bought the lerasium, used it to make himself a Slider, then use the Slider ability, all in one turn. And I don’t think any spikes besides mine were missing, although a sneaky Elim!Hemalurgist could manage to cover it up... Actually, now that I think about it, that could very well have happened. The Hemalurgists don’t start with an Uncharged Spike, they start with a kill that will put a spike in the shop. So a Hemalurgist could buy a spike the same turn they use their kill and none would be the wiser. Plus spikes were supposed to sometimes generate on player death, so maybe we do have a missing spike. Missing spike =/= Elim Slider, but it would explain some of the oddities going on around certain events. {Aborting tinfoil.exe} As for why I started suspecting Pyro so late, I didn’t get info until “so late”. Emi had PM’d me her role easily, which made our last lynch not make sense, and I had been thinking for a while there could be an Elim Tineye. I didn’t put it together what that meant until the leak suggested an Elim in our Village Core. Plus TBH I was still trying to figure out whether our “leak” was Pyro or you (Mage), or something else. I guess now we know.
  14. For that matter, can someone explain how Pyro flipping Village says anything about TJ? It just seemed to be taken as a given.
  15. Sorry, I've been forced into bouncing between mobile and computer, and between the QF and other things. I believe TJ is Village, because him being the Coinshot makes sense and giving the Elims a Coinshot and not the Village makes no sense whatsoever. Mage could be faking a roleblock to incriminate Mist - perhaps as an Oracle rather than an Augur - but that's a tinfoil and a half. I need to trust that Mage is Village at this point, because otherwise our "Village Core" would be 50% Eliminators, and nothing he's directly done has been really suspicious besides outing himself as an Augur to the whole thread, which was a mistake. Pyro was the one I chose to reveal my plan to, and he did reveal it prematurely (and before Emi could clarify to me whether she had used an action or not) after I told him not to do that, which he shrugged off. But he also seemed very emphatic about bussing people: Hatz at the very beginning, Ventyl once enough confusion about him popped up, and maybe Kynedath. I feel like if Pyro, Ventyl, and I were all in on bussing Ventyl, there could have been a much more effective way of doing it than what I did. Karnage hasn't been active enough to post, but he's evidently reading the threads and he's active enough to submit actions. He could be the Kandra, or trying to feign disconnection as an Elim, but I have no idea what to think of him right now. He can wait. Lahilt I can't read. But we can do some work with process of elimination. (Pun semi-intended.) Mist I believe has been active enough to post as well, but hasn't posted even when under suspicion. Please say something. But if Mist isn't the Elim for targeting Mage, then I have no idea who it could be. Mage, I guess. Or maybe Lahilt/Karnage. I don't know who to trust besides TJ, but I also don't know who to not trust. My question is, what was Pyro doing with all his Boxings. He would be the most likely Elim to get the lerasium, but he also seemed to want other people to buy things for him (including TJ to buy the Bead, apparently). That doesn't make sense. Now that I think about it, Pyro was probably going to let Drake steal a bunch and then kill him for his Boxings to buy the lerasium, or just kill him once he got it. I guess that way Lorena Blackburn got the Last Laugh after all... Hopefully I can add some Faleast RP to this. He really did trust Pyria.
  16. Hmm. You said you would post a defense “later” about 2 hours ago, and when prompted again (all I can see is Gears asking, not saying you were refusing) all you did was vote TJ. That does actually make some sense, but like you said there isn’t really anyone else to vote for at this point.
  17. Another chance for me to tie the vote... Thanks, but no thanks. From what I can tell, people think that if one of TJ and Pyro flip Elim, the other is also elim? I don’t get where that is coming from. As far as I can tell the only reason that TJ is suspect is that he’s not posting much, which is probably due to the chaos LG66 was/is in. Plus I think he said last cycle that he would be asleep around reset. Pyro, on the other hand, has not defended himself after several requests. I can’t really see it, but I haven’t had the chance to see reads for a lot of things. While Gears commanding a lynch as a newbie is a little odd, its NAI I think. Plus I’ve definitely done that too... And ninja’d by Pyro voting on himself. Well, I’ll monitor to see if that changes anything, but I do need to vote for something. Edit: okay, ninja’d by a LOT of people.
  18. Mainly because I still wasn't sure what the protocol for ties were. In some of the games I've seen, ties can be useful as it gives vote manipulation a chance to visibly alter an outcome, or a chance to lynch multiple suspects at once. But here, all it does is give a random chance to lynch one suspect or the other. I also had very little time to analyze things due to a Father's Day party, and as far as I could read I didn't think either Silber or Pyro were acting overly D1 suspicious. Although Pyro has proved... multiple times that he can fool people of his alignment. So I didn't want to break the tie because I thought neither one was more suspicious than the other and didn't have the time or ability to make an informed judgement.
  19. To the one I PM’d to right around reset, I may have messed things up. I had some IRL stuff come up right at reset, so I was scrambling to send PMs and actions and I failed to adjust and respond to things in time. I also didn’t get a lot of information in until the last (almost literal) minute. Kinda like our D1 lynch... However... I think this night’s result makes this look a lot better for the village. But we’re not quite finished yet.
