Suddenly the rock below Tyrian gained a shiny quality, and his Division-powered tunneling suddenly halted. Tyrian froze, then pounded on the wall in frustration. It was metal, now. Probably aluminum, a metal his abilities could not affect, for some reason. Tyrian went back into his smoky pit and looked up to see the Elsecaller standing above, watching, yelling something about innocence. Well, she was hardly innocent, she- What had she done? Cinder flew and sat in the air next to him. "She does have a point. You didn't need to bore a hole through an apartment complex." "I didn't have much choice. And don't you dare say 'there's always a choice'. There's not, and-" Tyrian felt a sharp pain in his back. He slammed himself into the metal wall. What was the point of all of this? He could either fight the Radiants like the duels mans, in which he had his two metal aluminum sickles against three Shardbearers. He could use Division, but so could the Skybreaker, and who knows what powers - why was he even thinking about this? He was just frustrated, this was all hopless, those people could be Feruchemists, Allomancers, Voidbinders - Allomancers. Tyrian tried to rack his brain. Wasn't there some way for Allomancy to affect people's thoughts? Did it really matter? He couldn't fight it, whatever it was, just like he couldn't fight the Radiants. But at the same time, his anger and Stormlight propelled him to move, to act. It felt like it was tearing his spirit apart. "AHHH!" Tyrian screeched, throwing himself at the ground of his pit, trying to dig further in any direction, to get somewhere, anywhere. "Where ARE YOU!" @bees? @Sorana @I think I am here.

Uhhh... yeah. At the very least you should have told the village that you weren't doing it... I'll try to analyze Mage and TJ, since we seem to have forgotten about suspecting them. I'm suspicious of Ventyl again, to some degree. But both times I've lead a lynch starting on my suspicions, we missed, so I'd rather follow the grouping on this one. ... Raow stared at the tense set of people. They had just discovered two more hunt victims around the building the humans seemed to be stuck in. For ones trapped by hunters, they didn’t seem to be focusing on escape. Raow wondered if they had their priorities messed up: he had already found at least one escape hole. Yes, it required a sewer pipe, a 11-inch diameter hole, and pitch darkness, but Raow thought that the humans could manage. It was a starting point, at least. Raow started to paw at a person standing near the group. He was still trying to figure out what was going on, and his landlord was still here. He didn’t want to leave unless he knew why people weren’t leaving. This place was a very interesting location to live in, and Raow wanted to hang around a little bit longer. It was highly unlikely that anyone would ever pay attention to a little kitten wandering around the building. It wasn’t like anyone would think he was a Loyalist spy; he wasn’t even in the PRE roster of members*. Raow yawned. “Mraow?” he asked, trying to get the attention of the assorted individuals. He could use a little attention sometimes. If they knew there was a kitten, they would be less inclined to notice him later. At least, Raow thought that was how it worked. (*Again, this applies to Raow, not Faleast or me.)

Lord Faleast stared at the bodies they had found. On the first night, only one person had died. The next, three. Today two, except the Faceless Immortal shouldn't even be active today. That means that there was another killer loose in this mess, and while they were probably working for the PRE, they also didn't seem to be a very good job of hunting down Loyalists. No offense, he thought, in case there was a mind-reading Coinshot somewhere in this crowd. At this point, people seemed to be more worried about how many Loyalists there were than who they happened to be. Ah well, that could wait for a while until more people were around to actually talk, instead of groggily complain about their current perdicament and groggliy check to see which ones of them had a dagger wounds in their chests. Faleast was suprised that he was so awake; he was also suprised that he wasn't dead. Then again, he was usually suprised that he didn't wake up dead, daggers or no. He was fairly certain that he'd said that already. No, he'd thought that before. Okay, now he was confused. If there was a mind-reading Coinshot somewhere in this crowd, either Faleast would have died a long time ago or the Coinshot would have gone completely insane. (I think way too much about people reading my mind and then reading my mind thinking about people reading my mind. Go figure .)

I was more thinking that Ventyl claims exactly Village Leecher, with no extra roles, which would make him identical to Elkanah. (Or at least, he claimed in my PM not to be a Feruchemist. Could be Thief/Hemalurgist.) But yeah, I forgot about Reading also being a Leecher.

I don’t think we can have a dagger kill this turn. I don’t think that you can use an item the same turn you buy it, and no daggers were missing at the start of this night cycle. So I think the Coinshot missfired. Or maybe a Hemalurgist missfired/“miss”fired. I could see an ambitious Hemalurgist going after that Sparker ability, especially if Matrim was the Sparker Ventyl was talking about earlier (and therefore he had been sharing his role around). But yes, this is not good. Seven villagers down for one Elim and the Kandra’s bodyswap. Depending on how many Elims Striker threw at us (how many are there usually? Four? Five? Eight?) we may be close to half and half. And a Kandra on the loose, who doesn’t really help anybody besides being another kill we have to watch out for. Also, Elkanah was a Village Leecher. Is it odd for there to be two Village Leechers? Because Ventyl is supposed to be a Village Leecher. And he has bought at least one and possibly multiple Steel Traps. Just sayin’. @Walin, did Ventyl end up roleblocking you last night/last day? I couldn’t tell which one it was supposed to be in all the planning. I did not interfere, as far as I know.
-
I mean, I doubt either Araris or Striker expected the Kandra to get found so quickly, so he’s probably keeping any more info about the Kandra from leaking out to us. It could be the Kandra has another ability we don’t know about yet, like Bleeder’s scan or something. I read the rules to say Araris would have to self-destruct to choose a target, but who knows how it actually works? Also, is there any particular reason that Mage and Elandra (and to a lesser extent TJ and maybe Matrim) have had no real suspicions by anyone? I think everyone, including me, reads them as village, but based on how awfuly wrong I’ve been at reading people for the last few rounds I’m wondering if I’m making a mistake in that. Edit: ninja’d by Ventyl. Yeah, I’m still a little suspicious of you too. Athough I agree it’s more a mutual distrust at this point than suspicion based on any proven information. So I’m looking elsewhere for suspects next cycle.

Tyrian fell. But at least this time, Cinder had a plan. He fell, Abrasing through the air, aiming to land right on the nearest rooftop. A rooftop that was very quickly approaching. The Skybreaker was coming back, and he didn't have the ability to fight him in such open terrain. He'd have to land. "You'll live," Cinder replied to his silent question. "You're a Radiant. You always live." "That doesn't mean it's not going to-" He thrust out his arms as he hit the building's roof. And Tyrian Divided. The world disappeared from view as Stormlight whirled around him, knitting and reknitting together his hands and face and eye, breaking the wood and stone and who-knows-what-else within the building. Down and down he went, through one floor, then the next, then the rest. Sparks and blood and rubble and dust were all left in his wake. Finally, Tyrian came to a stop, Stormlight near exhausted, buried somewhere in the foundations of the building. He sucked in more, then erased himself a small hole to properly stand in. He looked up. Above him, he could see a long line of holes through the building leading up to a starry sky. An orange glow came from a few of the floors - it seemed as if his Division had caught the building on fire. Tyrian stared at the beautiful sight. Then he cleared his throat and yelled. "You win this round, Skybreaker. Here is your victory." He focused, then Divided, sending a small shower of smoke, sparks, and fire into the building, feeding the small flames. Then he turned toward the foundations and began to burn his way through the rock.

Tyrian and the Skybreaker shot into the sky. The sky. Tyrian’s eyes went wide as the world spun around him. He felt the Skybreaker lurch up with him, arm trapped by his hooked blade. But Tyrian barely saw it. He barely saw the Blade coming for him, barely deflected it through his arm instead of his chest. The storm within him healed the wound, but it still cost him. Of the Stormlight he had, aside from his last resort, this battle had eaten about a quarter of it. The Skybreaker finally ripped his arm free, floating to a stop as Stormlight reknit his sheared muscles. A part of Tyrian grinned, creating a lopsided grimmace. An arm for an arm, at least temporarily. The rest of him was falling. Falling up, yes, but falling. Falling. Falling. Falling. Falling... “Tyrian!” a voice shouted. Cinder rocketed toward his face, a blistering sprite in the wind. “Snap out of it!” The two came to a stop. “Hurry! Angle toward the buildings! Use the air resistance to guide you! Like we practiced! Hurry!” The rational part of Tyrian nodded. And together they started falling. Falling...

Same here. ... I’m beginning to consider something. With so many roles out there, and with evidence of duplicates (Drake and Xino both being Gaspers), it’s possible some roles aren’t actually in the player pool. If we’re looking for an Archivist or a rare Allomantic ability, maybe the spot to look is the Medallions or Spikes. Copper is the main medallion used in the real storyline (besides Brass), and it would be really cool for every player to get a chance to learn a random fact. Plus it’s easy on Striker to have as a Feruchemy medallion because it’s just an ability with no tapping/storing oddities. It would explain the seeming lack of an impusive Village Coinshot, but maybe that’s just not how a Village Coinshot’s supposed to play. There was only one kill N1. Either way, I think there’s going to be a lot of purchases tonight. And ignoring the Medallions may be a mistake. ... (Also, my guess/suggestion for normal Feruchemy medallions is that you can store as much as you want, but only tap it once. Besides F-Iron I think it’s feasible, but F-Nicrosil and F-Duralumin would be very brokenly powerful.) Edit: Hello? This thread has been very quiet by our usual standards.
-
It’s kinda interesting nobody bought any non-Traps last night. Medallions would have been easy to get. I guess everyone’s going for the lerasium. Why is it so quiet around now?

Tyrian watched with partial suprise as the Skybreaker managed to block both sickles with his Blade. He wasn’t expecting it to happen, but he had planned for it, to some degree. His sickles clashed on the blade’s surface, deflecting the blows, but Tyrian varied his blow. His right sickle cupped the blade, forcing it back while he allowed the left to glance off, sending it back into a ready position. As the Skybreaker reached out with his deadly touch, Tyrian slashed down, trying to impale the forearm as it hit his chest.

Tyrian quickly drew his other sickle to slash aside the Skybreaker's blow. He growled. He hadn't really expected his deathgrip to work on a trained Radiant; it worked better when he actually had the element of suprise. So he kept his sickles between the two Radiants, then spun, trying to hit both Radiants at once. He'd keep his Allomancy as a backup in case anything got out of hand. And then another Radiant fell out of the sky. He didn't seem like a Skybreaker, Tyrian noted. Too... clumsy? He didn't seem as adept with Gravitation as he should have been. Still, he was probably a Windrunner and possibly a Skybreaker. "I think this counts as out of hand," Cinder whispered. Three Radiants: one appeared to be summoning Plate, one was a Skybreaker, and the remaining was a very odd Windrunner. Well, when in doubt, go for the greatest threat. Tyrian jumped into the air, lunging at the Skybreaker with two crossing slashes.

Aye. I'm more suspicious of Ventyl for his reaction than data at this point, but I'll set that aside. I'm... not sure why I said this helped clear Karnage. I thought I had a reason, but I'm tired and may have just combined all my people-to-suspect into one. Edit: oh, because the votes today. Yeah, nothing here is a perfect clear, but it helps to some degree. This is the problem last-minute votes causes. Signing off.
-
Alright, so other than Matrim’s vote, which was probably storing, there’s no manipulation, and the pushback away from XP was likely not Elim organized. I think that helps clear Lahilt, Ventyl, and Karnage to some degree, since the shift from XP>Drake was Village>Village.
-
Oh. That’s not good. Did someone remove Matrim’s vote on me? ... Why? Or was that just storing.
-
? Not as I can see... Probably this will be my last post before rollover as well.
-
I think Matrim has a vote on me.
-
I mean, I seem to “need” a lot more Boxings than I “have” . Experience it is then. I can save my investigation of Ventyl for later. Edit: AHHH DOUBLE NINJA give me a sec. The lynch on XP is I think similar to the lynch on Karnage, except there’s a lot more people that we can get info from from XP, since two of the main pushers for Karnage/Hatz were Coda and Drake, who were Village. Final edit: if lynching XP goes nowhere I probably will move back to Ventyl, but for now I think XP is the better choice
-
Ventyl's still my main/only suspect, but I'd be down to move to an Experience lynch if more people move that direction. Knowing if she's Elim or Village (or Kandra?) will help determine if all the (literal) last-minute voting D2 was trying to save an Elim or just another weirditiy. And she's been kinda quiet through the whole Me vs Ventyl failed showdown. @Experience, any thoughts on all of this? Actually, that reminds me of something: @StrikerEZ, if an Elim became the Kandra, then died, would we know that the Kandra had been an Elim!Kandra? Would a Villager be known as a Village!Kandra? Or would all we know is that they were a Kandra, with no way of knowing their prior alignment? That could make things difficult to gain info from past actions. Although the Elims would know that one of their former member was killed. Don't have anything to say or time to think of it for my 200 words, so I'll leave it here. May edit or post again when I have time/brain capacity. Or I suppose I could keep rambling along this train of thought until I hit a quantity of words within a sequence that equals 200.

Huh. Well, I've raised enough defenses of my actions before, so I don't want to end up parroting myself, but I don't honestly have anything new to really share about what I've done. I realize that my main suspicion has been disproven by Emi, but I think it's reasonable that I thought I was right in this case since it took Emi so long to say she didn't have an action. I'm beginning to think that Karnage isn't as likely to be Elim as I've previously thought. It kinda seems like last turn's Drake lynch: there are plenty of people suspicious of him, but all their reasons for their suspicions are different. I'm still suspicious, but not for the same reasons that people tend to be saying. I'm still more suspicious of Ventyl, with his defense being a little unusual and Emi taking a while to clarify (maybe). So my vote stays, because I don't really have any other leads. It may be better to see how it all plays out at night, and see what happens with both me and Ventyl alive, but I have no idea. If one of us is an Elim, killing the other starts creating a whole lot of suspicion. (If this post is kinda rambley, I was trying to hit my 200 words without much actual content.) Edit: Flame on? Again? Really?

Aye. That's just Faleast's old-man-take on all of this. Edit: RP! Raow wandered through the legs of the wandering people. There seemed to be a great debate going on, while a ring of onlookers surrounded a cantankerous old man and another man who smelled of whiskey and... rainwater? There also seemed to be a lot of people searching around for someone. Suddenly the crowd parted for a girl. Someone called out something to her. Lorinne. That was her name, Raow supposed. She didn’t seem to say it much. She said something profound, that was not her name, and the crowds slowly dispersed. The two men were still standing off, staring at each other. Raow wandered over to them, twisting around the old man’s legs, then wandering over to the other and scratching his head on his boots. Faleast and Lafay, he thought their names were. They also didn’t say it much. He looked up at the two, rotating his head between the pair. There didn’t seem to be much keeping them at each other’s throats, now that the crowd was gone. He decided to twist around Lafay’s feet. He looked up. “Mroaw?” he asked him. He was curious to see what was going on, and there didn’t seem to be any beginning or end to this standoff.
-
That's fine. I just couldn't tell if you meant that you knew Emi didn't visit someone and were asking why Ventyl targeted Emi, or if you knew from somewhere out-of-thread both that Emi visited nobody and Ventyl visited Emi. Thanks for clearing it up. ... Faleast stood in a near-standoff. He'd decided he was done with playing the waiting game, and had accused Lafay Etteax of being a Loyalist. He'd had proof of a direct lie; he thought he'd found another with the evidence of a Steel Trap, but now he was aware that yes, someone had in fact bought something on the Black Market last night. What's the point of the Black Market if everyone knows when something's bought on it? It doesn't make any sense. Then came the evidence, from a girl named Lorinne. She had earlier testified that Lafay had never acted against her, as Lafay had earlier told him. Faleast had thought this meant that Lafay was a liar. Then Lorinne testified that she had, in fact, done nothing that Lafay could have acted against in the first place. The fight drooped from Faleast's limbs. He had been so sure, and, once again, he was wrong. Well, wrong in evidence. But he still suspected Lafay for the defense that had been given. It was now much more possible for Lafay to be innocent, but Faleast wasn't done yet. There was still the possibility that he was right; perhaps Lorinne had been in on it, or had chosen to defend who she saw as innocent. Faleast wasn't sure, but this whole situation was tainted by something.

Tyrian crouched, sickles at the ready. The Radiant didn't seem to be fooled by his attempt to ambush, and they still couldn't see each other. But just a few more steps, and she'd be within reach of an Abrasion-fueled lunge. Then another Radiant dropped out of the sky, Shardblade blazing in the night. Tyrian's eyes went wide with shock. Then he slapped a palm to his forehead, careful to keep his sickle away from his face. His ruby was still secure. Then Cinder popped out from his hiding place in the crook of the wall. "Is that what I..." Then the gleaming Radiant proclaimed the deadly words, "I'm a Skybreaker, stopping this crem is kind of my job." Tyrian sucked in as much of the dead guard's stormlight he could hold. Then he rushed at the pair, fragmented plan forgotten in an instant, moving with pure rage. Abrasion guiding his feet, he smootly returned his right sickle to his back, swung his left for the the first Radiant's midsection, and stretched for a deadly Dividing grip at the - "SKYBREAKER!!" :-:-:-:-:-: "What! Yeah, coming!" Byron replied, rushing to Aln's position and trying to get a grip on the man. "If you need to get more Stormlight, I can wait here and Pulse and keep him stable while you go find more spheres and - Then he heard a blood-curdling screech from where Althea had gone. Byron froze. Oh, he knew that voice. He'd forgotten it, as he'd forgotten many things. But he knew it! "Oh no," he whispered. Althea was in very grave danger.

I mean, if Emi never submitted an action than this whole thing kinda lacks a point, because there's no evidence to say whether Emi got roleblocked or not. I'm still not sure about alignments, but now one of us doesn't have to be elims for this situation to be possible. And I still think Ventyl is acting a little suspicious. I'm not planning on Pulsing anyone this cycle, or at least this night, because I don't want to end up messing up an attempted exoneration and I don't really have any more leads. Although I agree that Roleblocking as the Village says doesn't really prove anything, as I think everyone believes that you're a Leecher, its just whether you're a PRE or Loyalist Leecher. And Steel Traps do make it hard to prove. I, of course, may get Elim-killed this night for doing all of this if you are an Elim, but that devolves into a IKYK rabbit hole real quick. Hopefully tonight I can get a Vest or charged spike or something, but I don't know if Roleblocking will stop me from buying anything. TJ, did you have both Emi and Ventyl tracked last night? Or just Emi? It seems... convenient that you can back this up. NAI, but convenient.
