Devo is voting me. The difference is that you posted, then Shining, Devo, and Mark all voted me immediately. When I retaliated, Shining and Mark switched over more hesitantly. But that’s fair enough I suppose. I think I prefer Devo and Illwei to you, but I’ll stay where I have the best chance to live

Conq Okay with this after his switch onto me and the (albeit minimal) things I highlighted in my catch-up post. Are we officially in the cycle end danger zone? Edit: I think Shining’s reevaluation is villagery and that kinda kills me reading Mark as elim though his vote on me doesn’t look good on paper. Devo/Shining still a possible team on paper and her vote is eh. Conq is was the only one with reasoning but it was bad so idk Kinda also just voting where I’ll survive but the VC is a ? to me Trying to stop myself from just reading everyone voting me as elim lol. The sudden unrestricted train caught me off guard.

I don’t know what you think I’m manipulating, seeing as I didn’t even have solid reads until a few hours ago and have been among the bottom half as far as activity goes. I’m not a big thread voice this game. The shield metaphor doesn’t work since all I’m doing is sticking to my v Shining read. …Why would I want to save Illwei? I’m voting Illwei. If you’re thinking we’re teammates, then why do I vote them in the first place? As for ‘what about other players’, you said it yourself. The comment was specifically directed at Shining because the thread situation called for it. I think it’s funny you accuse me of fishing for votes when it would have been a better fish not to narrow the statement to Shining. The first two sentences in this paragraph are contradictory. Feels like Shining just betrayed me xD but hopefully this shows that no, Conq’s reasoning doesn’t hold. Like at all :P. Wasn’t your biggest suspicion Conq? I doubt that’s true @Shining Silhouette how do you feel about xino? Cause I sorta feel like it’s not useful to vote someone with as little posts but the same could be said in regards to Illwei, and at least xino has voted. Which is analyzable.

I think there’s info to be gained from your flip, but since a lot of people are linking us and I know I’m village, that lessens the amount of info for me. If that makes sense. In general, I’d rather vote elsewhere and watch how other people react to the train, then adjust if needed.

This game got away from me, sorry. I guess this goes to show I probably shouldn't play games during school, but it also isn't going to stop me in the future I'll do better in later games of keeping up with everything, hopefully. But now it's the weekend. Catch-up time! I honestly don't have reads on like anyone at this point, that's how out of the loop I am :/ and I don't like that. So here we go. Bulleted list of thoughts inside each cycle spoiler, plus a TL;DR inside each. C1: C2: C3: Current state of reads: Mark, Conq Shining Devo, xino, Illwei And that list just feels so ehhhh to me. But I think for now I'll go on Illwei. She's stayed out of bit interactions, hasn't voted, and prodded along the v trains in a decently discreet way. To me the only way Shining is elim is if he's teamed with Devo so that'll have to wait to be figured out... @ me with any questions about a bullet point in my summaries, I'll be happy to add more context to any of them. Theoretically will be around more today but you know.

Lol. When you put it like that it makes it obvious I wasn't thinking about it at all, doesn't it I voted Tani as an inactivity poke in response to a less than productive VC but you're right that those don't really correlate together.

Sorry, the cycle end window is directly during the one time of day I can’t be in the thread. Dunno what I would have done though. Much more sympathetic to Conq and Devo’s votes than before, I’ll give it another look.

Coming back from XC to find posts is a nice surprise I completely disagree on your first point. Maybe it counts for less since I'm self-metaing but I was much more active as an elim since I was more invested in the game (especially as the only starting elim) and you'll notice that in the LG my activity matches closer with this game. Saying I'm not acting like v!me is great and all but I'll ask you for some semi-specific examples, not because I don't believe you have something in mind but because I'm genuinely curious xD (EDIT: Also, (and I make this point as a joke), but the goal is for my elim game to feel like my village game so maybe that's what's happening and you're just seeing the effects backwards ) And I mean. I thought I made it pretty clear I v read Shining and e read you, I mentioned a v dannex lean multiple times, and I don't think you can call me out on something no one else has done either, yourself included. I say the following without fact checking it, but I'd be willing to bet e!me in the QF posted a reads list before v!me in the LG did, anyway. Just based off my aforementioned higher engagement in the QF. Legit did not even notice until right now. I got the notification twice and still didn't notice :P. Hard for me to see it as a fixation when nothing fundamental has happened for me to want to change my mind Never got around to rereading (busy) and I'm okay keeping my vote there after his recent posts. But thanks for the reminder not to tunnel, I should get around to looking at C1 again and making a proper reads list.

Doubtful. I also disagree that TUN was a strange kill, it’s just a by the book low info kill. Happy to add pressure to Wiz and I do want to reread C1, though something tells me that I won’t get much out of it due to how low temperature it was.

I am defending Shining, I’ll own up to that. I believe that Shining is village from what I’ve seen this turn, with a decent part of that read coming from his excitement from thinking up a (albeit flawed) village clearing plan. That reads genuine to me.
