  1. I'm sure I don't have to explain why this is annoying to me but on the v read point, yes I v read xino and Kas, but so did like everyone else :P. Alv I had that point about a derp clear but that was only half a real read and no one had him as elim either. So I guess you can make that point about me but it applies to the rest of the player list too. Do you think they should? I guess it depends what happens today. No one in thread was using full usernames either :P.
  2. I... don't think I did? :P. I outlined why the fake claim was plausible (never did get a response to that, alas) but then Cin's megapost won me over :P. I don't see how that's AI in the slightest. The only thing I'd say is that Silver isn't e/e with you, I guess.
  3. I would like to hear a reasoning or two behind the vote on me, since I don't think I've seen that all game. It'd be appreciated, we don't want to make Shining's D1 post a self-fulfilling prophesy :P. I know it was a gut list, but it's still mildly interesting to me that your PoE today is your second tier from EoD D3: And like, looking at it I kinda can get why; shadow and JNV are dead and Illwei shot Wiz, and xino's dead, but what changed with regards to Archer, Cin, Conq, and Bookwyrm? I could ask a similar thing to Archer. Not that I'm complaining, since my PoE aligns better with yours now, but it just kind of caught me off guard :P. Fwiw, I do lean vil on Cin, but the elim case against them would be that the claim is fake, not that they're an e!Coinshot. Can someone tell me why Silver deserves to be village read? I haven't seen a reason. First person to do so will receive a response post from me explaining why Bookwyrm deserves to be village read. A look at the VCs: D1 Ash (4): Shining, Cinnamon, xino, Bookwyrm xino (3): Mat, Ash, Conq TUN (1): TUN Mat (1): Dannnnnnex Silvereye (1): Stick The trains being confirmed as v/v just makes this one less spicy; the loooow temperature of the turn to me indicates that no elims were really in danger (which could be as interpreted as a point towards v!TUN, but, well, the exe didn't end there and we have a lot of unknowns in the top two trains). D2 Turtle (5): Mat, shadow, Archivist, Xino, Stick Stick (4): Wizard, Illwei, Silver, Dannex Book (2): Shining, Devo/Archer Mat (1): JNV Cinnamon (1): Book Devo/Archer (1): Alvron The trains being v/v here is more interesting, but again the focus was mostly just on them so I suppose the elims weren't in danger yet again? I forget who was pressured besides me/turtle/Stick. Wiz ending on Stick and the sheer amount of villagers on Turtle makes me wonder if the elims pushed Stick as their preferred mix of the two. I don't know how much I believe the Turtle train was pure and this by itself might bump Archivist down from null. D3 shadow (4): Mat, Shining, Archer, Bookwyrm Bookwyrm (2): Silvereye, xino Mat (2): Illwei, shadow JNV (1): Dannnnnnex We can't be this far off track, maybe Bookwyrm is evil >> in that case I think it points to e!Archer though I'd have to check the timing of the exact votes. Shining voted in a more saving way I suppose. Silver voting on the secondary train twice in a row catches my eye, perhaps wanting to be involved but not get backlash when a villager flips? Idk, still looking for a reason to v read them since apparently everyone else leans that way. I v read Archer as much as the next guy but I don't think we should chalk him up as clear. Illwei can be clear, but not Archer. Or Cin. That narrows our PoE too much. Current VC: Mat (1): Illwei Bookwyrm (2): Dannex, Silver Dannex (3): Archer, TUN, Shining Is it cowardly to leave it as is?
  4. Once a PM is created, it can be messaged as much as you want and will remain for the rest of the game. So you can make a PM with your bro TJ during C1 that will suit your needs, just not anyone else till D2
  5. If you have them you should be able to spell them out JNV was in the tie for a few minutes before it switched over to shadow
  6. It normally is, tbf
  7. PMs are still open. The driving force behind my shadow vote was my village read of Bookwyrm more than anything else but Archer’s assessment of her turtle vote seemed fine to me. I wasn’t sure what I leaned there but I knew I village read Bookwyrm.
  8. Maybe I should stop messing with ties close to EoD >> Shining, yes I would have rather gone for JNV but next time don’t ask me at 1:59:30ish xD
  9. I can’t say I do shadow, I’m trusting past me and my v!Bookwyrm read and voting here. I think the tie is fine though I don’t feel as strong about this as I did with Stick. I’ll read your spoiler boxes during the Night turn provided I survive
  10. @The Bookwyrm how do you feel about JNV?
  11. ^ Except for the part about me having worked on a post :P. I… don’t really have an excuse for not backreading, but I suppose I just chose to do other things :P. General Thoughts: shadow is an elim lean for me, but I’m having trouble justifying it, yknow? I’d have to check and see if anyone has really defended her all that much. But it sorta seems like not? In my head either people elim lean her or say nothing about her, it’s like with me. Probably will end up self pressing here but I wish I didn’t have to ig Archer’s JNV arguments I can buy past my desire to effort clear them I think lol. Like I mentioned earlier that I thought their fixation on me for the their big reads post seemed planned, and there’s the thought that them backreading themself early game was weird. Cin I’ve elim read the entire game and there’s definitely reasons to doubt the claim but dang it I buy the village effort this turn. Even still if they are flipped I wouldn’t mind. Illwei is like the same but I’m more willing to get rid of the effort clear. She’s had contradiction after contradiction with xino and that thing I mentioned today and idk Still v read Bookwyrm but I couldn’t tell you why off the top of my head As village as I read Devo I think Archer’s way of pushing things is weird. Which. I agree with a lot of his points so idk what I’m saying >> There’s a peak into the mess that is my thoughts. No notes were referred back to in the making of this post :P. @dannnnnnex shadow isn’t new to forum mafia games, she’s an off-site player. Her second game here. @Shining Silhouette better to post 2/3 now imo JNV as an option I prefer over shadow but I’ll still self pres if I need to
  12. OoA has exe first and kills last, so if the elim being exed tries to submit the kill it will not go through.
  13. Uh, hi, sorry I didn’t do anything yesterday :P. The hours got away from me. I have church type things to do for awhile but the last two hours of the turn I should be around for sure. Sorry.
  14. That thought crossed my mind I kind of like it being a joke though. I wanted an excuse to low-effort the writeups but say it in a way that felt like a good intro
  15. Vinnie considered himself an expert on Shades. He did, after all, have a silvery knife in his hand and steel in his gaze. The night air was cold, blowing against his exposed biceps, and he lamented how out of fashion full coats were. It would keep him warm, but he was an explorer of dangerous forests and a denier of shades, and he had to look the part. He put the knife away as he emerged from the forest into the village, though there wasn't a reason to. Shades were just as likely to attack there as anywhere else, assuming the Simple Rules were violated. He trusted, though, that a township like this survived because it could keep them. Vinnie had been tasked with leading a group, a crew, across the forest. Their mission was of no importance to him, but their survival was. The crew he needed was in this town, somewhere... he just had to find out who was on board. Then, they'd be off, and with any luck at all would make it through. Following the Simple Rules was easy when you knew what they were. In theory. Welcome to Quick Fix 63: Simple Rules! I'll be the GM, and @Devotary of Spontaneity will be the IM. In this Threnody game, the death toll is high, but the writeups will be minimal. (Sorry). Signups will be open from now until Monday, November 7 at 10 AM, PST. The game will begin immediately after, with the normal rollover time being then. The rules can be found below, but there is also a docs version here. Housekeeping: Filters: Factions: Items: Order of Actions: Participants: Quicklinks: Do tell me if I've forgotten anything, it's been awhile since I've done this But other than that, I think that's everything!
  16. The more I see everyone post their reads the list more I realize literally everyone has me in ‘sliiiight elim’ and they’re either really noncommittal about it or they’re voting me with little reasoning Like there’s something there. I’ll post reads and a more betterer post this afternoon, I’m busy for the next few hours.
  17. How eloquent of you
  18. Your death would accomplish that :eyes:
  19. On mobile and haven’t backread since mid-D2, but off the top of my head my PoE would be like [JNV, shadow, Silvereye, dannex] with the next tier being [TUN, Conq]. Though that second group isn’t where I’d go today. Elims can be happy cruising people That’s my favorite way to be an elim
  20. Not… intentionally… :P. I would be legitimately shocked if that were the case I sympathize with Cin’s putting-the-read-they-want thing and I think I’m okay effort clearing that post unless anything else comes up. Like, as a new elim, lying about a Coinshot role under pressure, then putting that out? Coaching can help a new elim, but not to that extent. If this is e!Cin I don’t want to like underestimate their elim game cause I’d feel bad and also that won’t help us win but all I’m saying is I’d be very impressed :P. That being said I do want to look at my og e casing of Cin cause I don’t want to discredit that entirely
  21. Oh wow huh Do you think whoever killed Wiz should claim too? I'm kinda 50/50 about it personally, like it'd give us a clear but a clear is just an elim target :P. I suppose there's less danger now that the elim Rioter is dead. What do you think of Cin's claim? Because this is what I find interesting: In D2, Cin reads Wiz as vil with no explanation, just vibes. Which is fine. Later in the turn, Cin reiterates the v!Wiz read. Cin never mentions Wiz again, and now claims that out of the entire player list he was the one they thought was the best to go for. Like... I guess it's possible Cin reread things and changed their mind but that would be a complete 180 over the course of a day or less with no indication given, and that seems weird when Wiz was like the single village read Cin ever vocalized. @Cinnamon I'd appreciate you summing up your thought process of how you went from v reading Wiz to trying to kill him in the space of hours. *votes me, who voted turtle specifically to save Stick* I'll respond to your post made at the end of the night turn in a sec, but wanted to do the stuff from this thread first. Idk where the sudden burst of thread leader came from, but I like it
  22. Considering it’s been a week, I’ll send rules to the committee unless something else is already happening.
  23. Same tbh There’s no set number, but typically it’s around 25% with a margin for error either direction. So I’d say 5, but it could be 4 if they have more powerful roles. Probably not 6 but who knows Edit: and yeah I denied Stick the question clear earlier but that one seemed pretty natural. I could tinfoil coaching but I’d be kidding myself if I said it was anything but tinfoil
