  1. Who's going to Dragonsteel? I need to gauge how lonely I'd be / whether or not to invite my dad

  2. We’re driving back from a band trip on the freeway, on the bus, and this car zips past us going maybe 20 over the speed limit, weaving through everybody, and disappears out of sight.

I think, ‘Maybe there’s a legit emergency to warrant that’.

Two minutes later, we pass the same car, now COMPLETELY totaled, in the middle of the freeway (pass as in slow to a crawl as everyone frantically merges into two lanes). There were some serious skid marks on the road, massive dents on the guardrail, and maybe two or three other cars that were stopped but didn’t look too damaged

And outside? A bunch of teenagers who definitely weren’t going anywhere important

    Drive safely, people >>

  3. Don't worry, we have LG95 next
  4. Was fun to spectate, even though I frequently had no idea what was going on Good game, village
  5. He entered Silverlight quietly, slipping through the many sets of doors during the portion of the night where activity was at its lowest point. I suppose here 'night' is only a term, he thought. It was an illusion, just as the kind faces he passed once inside were illusions. They were few, and he didn't recognize any of them, thankfully. The chance of that was low after all these years, but considering who he expected to be here, it was more possible than it had been in a long, long time. He wasn't quite sure what he was doing there. He'd been before, and always found it surprisingly distasteful. There was a sense of pride hanging in the air, a tangible status quo that seemed to be just out of reach. But he shrugged the feeling off, as he'd done during his previous visits, and focused his steps. No, he knew what he was doing there. An opportunity had been born, and for the first time since he'd lost the power of Ruin, he'd felt a desire to... go where it was. Not necessarily to reclaim the shard, as the reunion would be too bittersweet for his liking, but... well, quite simply, he found that he'd been around for too much of the cosmere's history to sit around as it came to its potential close. And so, the man pressed onward, towards Silverlight's center. Sir Arren Brockett had returned. * * * Okay okay okay I'm playing shhhh I guess we can go with the continuity of AG5 leading to AG7, as that's where Brockett originated from. Or I can just copy paste him into whatever version of the cosmere this is. Which I'd be fine with, as I really liked how his arc ended and would be quite pleased with calling this a multiversal duplicate... Ah, whatever. Doesn't matter. But the temptation of a game of this magnitude has officially become too strong to resist :P.
  6. Oh like two vessels in play? I thought that meant two vessels to make, total >> Like they start with two vessel charges, same as a conversion game Turns out I never understood how this game works at all, even though I thought I did But I’ve got it now surely
  7. I don’t know how much the rules being village sided will matter as there are zero elims in thread when the game starts, and they get the roles when they take over a player. That seems like it nullifies all meta gaming.
  8. Ahhh I see, I thought the team had two as a whole. That makes more sense to me. Also missed the part about the Aspects not getting an account. Looks cool to me!
  9. So… the elims don’t have a kill, but instead a 2-time use ratio-sway? If the standard ratio is 5-4, and a vessel is created, do the elims win (because the new ratio would be 4-5) or does only the vessel ratio count, making it 4-1? Does an Aspect who created a vessel get two accounts in the thread? Can they submit actions from either GM PM (provided the actions in question work with the initial role)?
  10. I'll add this caveat to my PHing-- if the signup period ends and you don't have your 20, you can switch me over to a player. There, now I don't have to make the decision whether to play or not, you guys get to decide for me :eyes:
  11. I feel extremely conflicted: I turned down Kas’ RP QF cause I’m too busy, and complication-wise this is leagues above that, so logically there’s no way I have time for this But also, Shard game How about this, put me down as PHer. Yeah.
  12. Ooooooh can you do foot pedals? Whenever I play organ I just click the button that fakes it lol
  13. A lot of it was banking on the village dropping off after we killed all the active people, which isn’t the most fulfilling strategy, let’s just say that. And VitC; VitC was a big part of it :P.
  14. So were all those alleged Elder Sign Pendants just crap or what I guess if we’d hit one the holder would have gone insane, giving us a free exe? Anyway @TheAlpha929 you’re a freaking legend @Amanuensis and @Archer too, legitimately nothing would have worked without the incredible levels of set up and distancing you two did It was only like yesterday when I was like “wait we could actually win” after a solid week of a complete lack of faith and I’m still not really sure how that happened >> There were bouts of stupidly lucky RNG (Alpha’s thieving, the exe just now) mixed with stupidly unlucky everything else (like not getting a successful kill until… N4?) and honestly am just relieved it’s over yknow Also I am an SE, that should probably be in the player list even though I lost my powers? Or not idk Edit: Steel had Ash’s pendant oh my gosh add that to the list of dumb luck >>
  15. So condense onto Illwei with me. You saw DeTess’ post, it’s not a 50/50 because Illwei is indisputably more aligned with the elims than I am.
  16. I mean, she was the one who was attacked. But I guess if WGG is a theory to consider there's no reason she couldn't have self-targeted I suppose
  17. It's clearly a setup considering it's lylo. There's no better way to assure a win here-- especially with the N3 mech pool otherwise down to one-- than setting someone else up to easily go over before you're mechanically revealed. Once I flip, Illwei will be mechanically revealed, but it'll also be too late. If you look at the past turns and compare my interactions with Archer/Aman, their interactions with me, and then do the same with Illwei, one is far more aligned with them than the others. And it's not me :P. More on that later though, if I have time
  18. The point is that it was before the reveal. It's logical to assume that the elims would want to do what they could beforehand. I think the overlap thing is the more interesting part of that, anyway.
  19. Rereading (first time for everything amiright) and came across this from D2. Context for that post is that it was before Devo revealed Aman was roleblocked, so they had a kind of advantage in knowing it was coming (cause Aman would have been told he was blocked) and they could prepare by laying groundwork or something like that. I think looking for signs of that would be useful. The reason I noticed that post, though, is because it directly followed one of Archer's where he quoted my Araris e read and more or less sheeped it, using it as a segue to vote. In that post, Illwei does nearly the same thing, but joins me on Ash instead of voting Araris. That to me looks like an attempt to get a real train going as soon as possible. At the very least, it's a pattern of similar behavior between Illwei/Archer. The other interesting thing there is that Illwei says that optimally, flipping a D1 train would be best, and that they think Ash/Archer are aligned. Archer was the overlap, yet Illwei voted Ash. Compare that to Illwei's play in recent turns, where they've been voting all the recent misexe trains entirely based on overlaps. It's a clear reversal from ignoring an overlap that would have killed an elim to obsessively citing overlaps that kill villagers, pointing to an agenda either way. That's all I have time for now but I'll read future things at some point.
  20. Right, so that leaves Illwei as the only confirmed elim from my PoV. So yeah I think I’ll stay here I can make a case probably so as to convince someone so that we don’t like misexe me and lose lol Later though
  21. I think just cause he’s outside of every sphere that exists I’d kill Alv I think?
