    They would have had like a full 24 hours before Devo claimed, and I dare say I think Aman and Archer could have figured out the possibility :P. I spy an elim slip? Silver Bones is an ability, not a role. To me this looks like e!SE Araris wanting to claim to have his e!Writer teammate’s role while adding a bonus defense, but he forgot that SB isn’t a role as he had full SE abilities.

    It’s the second. I don’t really think that’s a counter because I was in the unique position of having just been exed, meaning I was claiming anyway. That would have made a difference, whereas the unclaimed SE would have had to come out of nowhere.

    That’s a bad argument because it applies to literally everyone except for Kas. Only one SE claimed, so the other obviously didn’t. So? My claim was so far in advance of all of these stipulations that there wasn’t really a downside for e!me claiming SE. Your claim, on the other hand, wasn’t.

    You might as well say the same for me claiming Silver Bones— from your pov what’s the functional difference for an elim when in the last run of this game there was a village of both? I think the PM exclusive claim, the one that had to be outed, is the more iffy one. Claiming SE would have saved Aman because he would have known he was RBd from the start of the cycle. I could have claimed to have protected him before Devo ever claimed, and she might not have ever claimed at all. Edit: Suddenly am wondering about the possibility of a Steel/Illwei team Maybe shove Walin in there too

    Would e!Illwei with a palid mask have come back with the same result? Actually, considering the amount of protection we've seen, I could totally buy that. 2 pendants, 2 masks, 2 sets of silver bones, Kas' protection, and any items Fae could have found is... a lot. Even with e!SE!Araris. It fell apart, yeah, when I told him how bad it was :P. A weak push doesn't mean it's e/e, just that it was a weak push. I guess your point is that it does >> Or maybe it's just me being more aware of my meta after the last game. This, like above, isn't something that's defendable because my defense is 'uh, no' lol That's like, super surface level distancing though. He wanted me dead :P. Araris

    I don’t really think it is. You started with ‘the problems with e!Mat are’ and then highlighted my interactions with Archer, implying that we don’t look e/e. You mentioned the tunnel thing, but again, I’ve explained myself multiple times there. It didn’t look like a tunnel to you because it was internal and I was actively trying to suppress it. What about Aman’s play makes that clear? I don’t recall him ever pushing Archer very hard. And yeah, mostly am waiting for an answer on why DeTess cleared JNV and I want to clear out the mech pool as there’s a guaranteed elim there (whereas you’re less guaranteed) but resolving you would be fine with me. Exeing someone with an extra life would be annoying but I suppose you don’t necessarily have to have that.

    My D1 I refused to move off of Archer, and got heavily pushed by both Aman and Archer. I've already explained why I said my Archer read was a tunnel. I can't really do anything about Araris voting me in spite of all that because he's voting me purely for mech reasons. Why are we sure JNV isn't evil? That would make the N3 killer Illwei.

    3 years is kinda wild. Doesn't feel like that long but also time is weird so it feels... longer? Idk. Thanks for being awesome, everyone, for however long my brain perceived the time ^_^ Now join SE

    Also, just saw that Dragonsteel Con 2023 is gonna be the same time I'm in Utah this Fall so I'll probably get to go. Anyone else?

    Hmm. I think he'd be the elim SE, then. Because last game's distro had a village SE, and a village SB. From all of your PoV, the elim SE isn't me because as Kas mentioned earlier in the game, I would have just claimed SE as opposed to SB-- that would have saved Aman. From my PoV I know it's not me, so :P. So [Araris, JNV/Illwei] with the outside chance of Alv? I guess Araris could just be vanilla evil and claiming that as a way to make people not want to exe him / incriminate those with extra lives and such.

    Would that really make a difference, though? Kas was a Shade Expert, which is as bad if not worse for the elims as a RBer. Running into Kas’ protection would have resulted in their immediate death, as opposed to a RB which requires a subsequent exe, as we saw with Aman. The fact that they offered that is enough for me to village read them, especially since they followed through. No one forced them to offer their item. If a villager gets VitCd I think we’d be able to tell who the elims are. imo if they’re forced into that position that’s a win for us because it’s not like we’re close to exlo. I don’t think that’d be a bad thing.

    Because Alpha passed Devo a palid mask. I’ve said that before; I don’t think it’s reasonable for an elim to give the conf roleblocker an item that makes them really hard to kill when you consider that they likely have to get the villagers down to one before they win.

    Were there two PMs created? That seems like an important piece of that puzzle to me. I mean, Devotary has a palid mask, right? Because Alpha passed her one. That would explain why they didn’t kill Devotary. That’s also why I’m v!reading Alpha, and not suspecting them for having had a mask. e!them would have kept it while quietly submitting kills, especially since the elims are apparently without SE protection. As for saving Archer, Ash’s vote did basically the same thing, so I’ll vote there over JNV.
