I don't know that I ever have said why, actually, though I have mentioned the read before. At a base level it's gut + me not understanding the e!case (which is a me problem, aka I haven't tried to understand it), but I also don't think e!Szeth has as many controversial points, I guess? Like going after Kas the way he did. I don't see e!Szeth doing that at all. Mainly has to do with this, where I thought his self pres was an overreaction and unnecessary, which I think could be indicative of a more-than-usual care of dying. Additionally, the last time he did that, he was evil (according to Kas/Elan, anyway) so there's a level of connection there. Plus, I think it'd be useful to resolve the trains from yesterday, as a bonus. Edit: I also kind of think xino is Autonomy which is likely a bad read but there you go

That Archer post feels hypocritical for a few reasons that I may outline later, I noticed a few things he pointed out that he himself had been called out for doing this game :P. At the same time idk if that makes me e read him any more

Hi here's a low budget reads list; tiers are ordered Szeth, Drake, TBB Fadran, Elan, Kas Turtle, DeTess TJ, Archer, Fifth, Stink, Wiz, JNV Fae, Araris Walin, xino Explanations on the ones I think probably need them (edit: also feel free to ask if anything is unclear) Fadran: Engagement read, maybe I'm wrong but I feel Fadran with an interesting role would be more interested in the game. This is by far his least active game and I personally didn't find his one comment too weird. Elan: Just a read because I agree with e!xino Turtle/DeTess: Lumping them together because they're players who I feel like I village read but have legitimately nothing on, and feel I should (turtle because of their almost-train that sort of took off and DeTess because I originally e read them) Black is just null, like I have no idea and it's really annoying >> Fae is probably lower than deserved but actually what was their voting pattern (am ignoring the fact it was night) I don't think Araris going for PMs is v indicative Re-highlighting Walin being all 'Oh I'm going for an action, put that in your theories *wink wink*' and then apparently... doing nothing?? Dunno what the VC is, feel like it's not a lot and should be smh you people, I will start on xino. I wouldn't mind a resolution on yesterday's trains. It seems like we've been narrowly missing elims a lot lately. (Sorry for the shorthand and complete lack of grammar and formatting, I've developed a lovely mid-June cold for some reason >>)

Why would you shoot the piano avatar over the vocals one I didn’t even get to talk to it (I jest, mostly.) Is there anything important beyond Drake claiming Odium in the posts above mine? I’m having a real hard time parsing anything rn for some reason :/ I think this reflects on v!Drake if only because he was willing to claim right away, whereas I feel Hoid/Khriss & Co. would be more stingy about that. Could be a bad read idk

I certainly agree with DeTess regarding the grace period, especially given how many people don’t care too much about deeply understanding the rules, but I also don’t see why it matters as Alpha… died and flipped village :P. I’m increasingly sure of v!Szeth though, fwiw

I totally would name my avatars after music etc and then publicly appreciate it, I’ll give you that But it is a tad obvious for me (see: under my username) and honestly I don’t think I’d be that creative with my naming. Wish it were true though

More Alpha/xino than Fifth, but that's just because Fifth is dead null for me whereas I have something more negative on the other two. I think I would prefer xino over Alpha but I prefer a solid train over a not solid train more :P. I don't know who I'd pick if I had to choose Archer vs Fifth so don't ask xD Edit: @Kasimir @DeTess Buuuuut that being said if you guys wanna last second switch to xino I'd be down :P.

I’m more interested in xino being concerned enough with dying after one passing vote and no conversation regarding him. Were I in his shoes, I would not find self pres necessary. Almost makes me want to switch there tbh Edit: I guess I am in his shoes to an extent, lol. Retroactively proved myself right :P.

I think for now I'll hop onto Kas' train of thought (which he left behind? idk) and go Alpha; I don't have anything against Fifth I suppose but that works both ways and I at least agree with the Alpha read. I could at least see myself breaking a tie onto Fifth, which is more than I could say last turn :P. I feel nothing in regards to most exe options though so we'll see what happens lol Edit: Darn right I would >:( /jk but also yeah dont pls and thx

Oh— and re: Fae, I’d voted there in hopes of gaining any reaction as I didn’t like their posts last turn but am aware they aren’t necessarily AI. I obviously didn’t get one, and will find a new place to live this afternoon :P.

The reason I keep calling it a faction game has to do with the three elim factions being at odds with one another and is less about the mechanics of those factions, and I expect late game that the numbers in all four factions will grow close to equal. I think a decent chunk was also my brain latching onto the SD wincons more than I should have, which are more faction-gamey. But also I still stand by that train of thought and don’t think it really matters anyway ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I don’t believe he has, and to be honest I would be somewhat surprised if he’d ever read one like Drake suggested. But if I’m completely honest, I don’t remember what expectation you’re talking about here :P.
