  1. It works the same way as being elevated in a field-- more votes equals a higher chance of being disciplined. In other words, Szeth got lucky, we did not. Anyway. From his table in the corner, Francis couldn't see much. With a wall to his right and a support beam to his diagonal left, it was by far the most obscured spot in the common room. He didn't always prefer it that way, but today he did. Something about the first month at the University had worn him down. He was the first in his family to study there, and so had entered with no baseline for the level of work and memorization it would hold. It had been... brutal. Francis figured this next month would go better, as he'd fallen into a rhythm. It had only taken the Masters questioning him for his repeated tardies to whip him into shape. He snorted into his drink, then took a sip. Disgusting. But cheap, he reminded himself. That was the only silver lining, and it was a thin one. But it was there. When in as bad a financial situation as his, one had to take the small victories when they could. He brushed his mustache, then glanced at the ceiling towards his room, feeling his craft calling him. He'd initially wanted to study baking at the University, though that was before he learned the school was much more... scientifically focused. For a brief time, he worried that one of those two dreams would die. But that was foolish. Passions cannot be smothered. In a flash, he downed the rest of his drink, then left the cup on the table to seclude himself even further.
  2. That was like not cool you guys smh smh I’m poor as it is I don’t need this Also guess who got the rollover time wrong and didn’t submit any actions in time! :D. :D. :D. Was a really good start for me I know but at least I’m home now >> RP will be later tonight.
  3. Mat Dunno what you expected me to do tbh Archer’s voting pattern this far is giving me village vibes for no specific reason. Would rather not (kill? expel? report him to the principal?) him early (again). And yeah I have not read enough to be able to vote with any amount of confidence so that’s just not going to happen but hopefully this puts me above the PM line percentage cause apparently that’s a thing Here’s a question for y’all: how do I get money (besides posting). I’m poor and don’t recall the ways of the university ;-;
  4. I’m here, kind of. Not fully for another 40ish hours, and I actually mean that this time, it won’t be like when I say I’m busy, I’m actually busy I’ll do Archer’s job for him Mat On a different note, I’m finally village, so that’s cool >> RP will be once I get home. Edit: I have just discovered that the turn ends in 40ish hours. I guess I’ll find time to take the vote off before then, but I won’t promise it’ll end up somewhere else.
  5. You lost me at “and therefore is a soup” tbh Soups have more than just vegetables and meat (which is a stew anyway :eyes:). They have to be a soup in spirit. It’s why cereal isn’t a soup either.
  6. I’m pretty sure we don’t live remotely close to each other
  7. Sorry I used your play against you and then killed you before you could turn it around. Maybe shouldn’t have done that.
  8. No, but if I did, I wouldn't feel it or notice For some reason, that happens to me. TPBM is acutely aware of their left big toe. You're welcome! :D.
  9. Only if they kill correctly. The problem with an Assassin is that they can either not kill or kill villagers, making it a weird balance tool when there's a chance it shoots its team in the foot But yeah.
  10. I’m totally claiming that Dawnshard, sorry never mind the fact that my stats are very out of date GG all. We made a couple of weird plays (like sacrificing DeTess for… ultimately nothing except for a funny last second Ash PM) but I guess it worked out in the end. This game felt especially more like me faking bad village play than doing good elim play, if that makes sense, and makes me excited to actually be village one of these days I do think our team was a tad overpowered, though we didn’t end up using 2/3 of our roles. Also @archer I totally still stand by that not being a tell :P. I’m pretty sure it’s just that I happened to roll elim every single time I was busy this summer, a correlation does not equal causation scenario, but I don’t actually know because I haven’t been village recently xD So maybe it is a tell. We won’t know until I’m both village and busy at the same time :P. Also also @aman I wasn’t online to say it at the time but now I can say that this is a perfect example of why we don’t self vote >:P
  11. I could never figure this out either. Like, I don't know what the downside in killing you is in Aman's world, to be frank :P. TKN is out of commission, Aman claimed roleless, TJ would be e!fighter and he's pitching the IKYK at e!me. There's... nothing mechanically stopping the kill there :P. That being said, I'm definitely a bodyguard and will be protecting Ash tonight! :D. Chew on that actual IKYK, elims! My sarcasm has convinced me Aman
  12. Isn't there that other random thin one with the dramatically long *fantasy* title :eyes:
  13. ...Huh. Wonko claiming to Aman is strange to me. I don't think he deserved that much credit-- he wasn't flipped, he was exed, and that's it. @Amanuensis, did Wonko give a reason for claiming to you? Aman made it sound to me that reviving Wonko was a guaranteed win because of his role. I assumed that meant he was a bodyguard or fighter, not an assassin. I don't think a glass cannon is a safe bet. But I don't think e!Wonko is an assassin, and I don't think that's the role Aman chooses for his teammate if he's making stuff up. Unless he wants to pick the least elimmy role there is, I guess. TJ being fighter and not hitting Ash yesterday after he claimed to have been fought definitely makes me lean village, I will say. And TJ brings up a good point about PMs. I'll have to make a decision within the next two hours, unfortunately, as I work tonight, so there you go :P.
  14. And there is your problem But no, I will never forget that game >> enough that I somewhat disagree, I don't really get that vibe. Maybe that means I've been successfully pocketed but he doesn't seem like he's strongly working to pit us against each other. He is lightly casing you to me in our PM but it's pretty light and largely PoE which is a difference in intensity from that game that is preeetty substantial. Again though. Need to reread. Are you the fighter? If you are, that's a point in your favor imo as I don't know why an e!figher would hit three different people when they could be getting free kills.
  15. Technically, TKN could still hold the Dawnshard. It's an item, and he claimed a role.
  16. There's not a reason to anything TJ :P. He just hasn't been here. My vote last turn was more just me randomly picking a null because I don't like to not vote, and I'll definitely have to reread before I decide whether or not I feel like repeating that. Where's the gambit behind Aman being evil? He wasn't killed, he was exed. I've definitely confidently read people as village before. See AG and Croc (disregard the fact that Croc was evil) and probably a bunch of other less memorable times. I liked your tone C1. It felt village. Let me shrink my PoE ok ;-; Ash is another one where I need to reread before making a real decision. I'm inclined to agree with you re TJ but that is also baseless.
  17. Ah, my bad. I thought you were claiming to hold the Dawnshard
  18. Ha, I knew I village read you :P. Good thing we didn't flashwagon.
  19. How would that have happened? :P. No flip which makes our job harder. I will say though with DeTess not being rescued that I'm almost certain she's just village; an elim certainly wouldn't volunteer themselves to be more or less removed from the game when ratios really matter.
  20. Aaaa forgot about rollover and I haven’t voted uh *pulls up readslist* TJ #pointlessnullvoteforthewin
