    Well, the train was actually quite small, with only Sart and Wonko ever voting me. Neither feels especially evil to me (or at least, not in any trustworthy way) and I do agree with Stick that Wonko rejecting her village read of him is villagery. If you expand that to include everyone who pinged/quoted me in that sequence it's more likely, obviously. Conclusions?

    You yourself have given out two village reads so far, but I’ll ignore that I suppose. In a 3 cycle QF, reads have to come fast. Talked myself out of Experience. Will get a vote down in the next few hours but I will be absent for the last hour and a half of the turn again. I lean on agreeing with a lot of Stick’s takes, but not really the Wonko one.

    The ironic thing about all of this is that I actually lean village on you more that I did last night when I sent that PM But if people vote me based on that then I don’t know what to say.

Which is too bad, because otherwise I could have v!read him for wasting an action :P. + @|TJ| @_Stick_ @Ashbringer @Sart @Wonko the Sane @whoever else You don’t need to vote me to coerce me into sharing smh I was at xc and couldn’t respond till now :p. But this is how rumors get started, because as Exp will back me up on once he rereads the PM, all I said was that I think Ash is softing a weird/crazy role, (what with the “what have you done to me” and “I could make it up to you”) but didn’t think he’d be that careless to post those things as the jabberwocky. But more to the point, I also said that my Ash read was vaguely negative. Frankly, the pileup on me over this is quite weird and I’d like to not be C1d twice in the same game lol Sart, not sure how that would be pocketing. It’s not like I told Ash (or anyone) that I v!read him. Would you say that anytime someone v!reads anyone it’s a pocket attempt?

    Take another look at that doc. I was the Cheshire Cat, don't you remember? He made a show about deciding whether or not I was trying to pocket him (even though he's the one who PMd me), and while I could cite some other things in honesty that's the only real one. The others would probably be mostly confbias. Experience :P. Attention brought :P. In all seriousness, the soft-elim-read-that-doesn't-get-a-vote is something I do all the time, in both alignments, so read me whatever off of it I guess. I have a history of misreading you and didn't want to do it again /shrug This vote probably won't stick but we'll see Not 'lately' in the sense of the past year, but 'lately' in the sense of Exp's recent games iirc I just jump to e read him faster than I should, kinda like how I did with Alpha when he first started playing

Ideally we focus on discussing the players actually playing— that was what I was getting at in the post Quinn flagged C1, where I said I didn’t like how much discussion was focused on inactives and self centered votes. We were completely ignoring the people who were posting until one in particular stopped posting but it was a faction (mini)game so that’s forgivable. Here though, reads should be made. I’m okay with the Exp vote based on PM vibes. Reserving judgement since I feel like I hop on Exp too quickly too often but he feels to me like he’s trying too hard to appear to be Not Elim.

    Special powers C4. Normal powers for those with roles after, assuming you’re right about roles existing. Which is likely. I’d lean more towards two, as betting balance on a CS shooting right isn’t a reliable game design. But that wasn’t what was advertised for this game, so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Edit: @Fifth Scholar pretty sure that the purple faction should be People and not Animals in the writeup

    Are PMs still closed off unless with action? You could tell me there if not. Or just out everyone, yeah I don’t think it really matters but some might like to preserve secrecy. I know at least two non public ones.

    Well, Ash, maybe you shouldn’t apologize, because I’m lacking in victory points and having the most is probably the ultimate goal I’m personally in favor of a mass claim from last minigame but obviously I’m biased in that regard :P.

I forget I was exed while afk for maybe being a role that might exist and could be bad, while being a really active poster during a turn where 90% of the discussion was about how good an idea CCing was, and you forget how passive aggressive this paragraph is /jk This, I think, could count as breaking my elim streak, but only kinda. (That’s not an SK soft, sorry :P) But this should be a more standardish game minus the brilig madness @Wonko the Sane well done with your play, almost pulled it through for us @|TJ| on a scale of 1-10, rate your enjoyment of Wit choosing four separate colors in the cards doc :eyes: How much does last minigame affect this one? I was expecting zero but Ash gives me pause.

    I’m pretty sure that somewhere in the Intentionally Blank database Brandon and Dan talk about a bad story idea where a guy had a suitcase full of eldritch beings. I can’t find it, though. That’s all I can remember about it, and I’ve been combing through the episodes in vain. Please help :| Am not sure if it is an official bad story idea or just a random thing that was mentioned as a one-off, but if anyone at least remembers that this exists that would be useful ;-;

    The amount of agreement on a CC is troubling to me. And the amount of voting that is purely survival based is weird. Both probably factors of us having very little info. I think advancing to the MU mafia championship counts as playing :P.

    That's not what I meant, no. A CC is fine, I just thought it was interesting that Sart went straight there considering the last LG's rampant inactivity problems without a single mention of a CC from him (or any other player) Probably nothing, but who knows. (And yeah, Exp, CC = Contribution Crusade, which is basically killing inactives as an incentive to be active. Happened a lot in the early days, before my time, has come up a few times since then, mostly isn't actually used effectively. Personally I wouldn't CC a new player on C1, but that might be just me)

    At the very least, I certainly want you to think that Sart immediately going for the CC when he never even thought to do it last LG, where I'd argue the situation was much more appropriate for. Noted.

    Yeah how do bottles/cake work? I was wondering that Like does a bottle shrink you during rollover if you have one? Unexeable is a good theory My inkling is that PMs shouldn't be used casually :P. There are likely factions going on, and there may or may not be factions with information on their teammates-- I don't think anyone would be sad about saving their PM. Or using a different action entirely. If they have one. Bottom line is we know nothing and while cute animal pics are awesome they don't help anyone learn anything about the game Aman because I didn't want to double vote TJ

    Wonder if we have the same wincon I would also say mine favors a yeet, but I’d asterisk that more than you did. But as for no votes, that ship has probably sailed :P.

    I had the same thought regarding the hesitance. But whenever I make a C1 read like that it’s wrong, so :P. I think I agree though. What do people think the factions are? Just a village and elim? Even that? More than two?

    Essentially my thoughts, yeah xD The three minigames thing is interesting. And I guess this is basically FFA. I don’t think this counts as me breaking my elim streak due to its weirdness, though, which is honestly too bad :P.
