    This will be an interesting game. Straw, are your personalities going to repeat, or will there be a new one every post? I understand this, but also think it probably won't be that easy :P. SE never is... though for C1 it's a solid place to start. I mean, the Pracs will only be really suspicious of the people in the Jeskeri doc but will probably throw some Korathi into their in-thread suspect list because a. There are cultists not in the Jeskeri doc and b. To appear more villagery I doubt the cultists will kill too many practitioners to end the game. They know who all of them are But in essence, true. As for first impression reads on those two posts go, uh, Straw's is interesting because of the !!! but that seems pretty null to me so far. TJ's I have a slight off read of, don't know if that's a Prac or Cult off read, but I'm mostly dismissing it as I've had a gut elim read on TJ (sometimes briefly) the past like 3 games and been wrong every single time :P. And there has only been 2 posts so far. So while it's there it's veeeery subtle.

    This sort of shines some light on the 3 arcs we've been hearing this book has: Main arc- flying ship to Herdaz, with Dalinar/Navani/Kaladin/Bridge Four/Lirin etc Second arc- Shallan investigating the Sons of Honor, with Shallan/Adolin/Someone else etc Of course that leaves the third arc open, though there's been speculation on a Horneater Peaks arc. Oh yeah, and Venli is the MC of the book, it's her book, and she doesn't fit in either of those arcs. So that's something... any thoughts on her place in all this?

    This is definitely a new thing, but I tried to edit my signature to get it up to date on what I was reading, and upon clicking 'save' received this message: Unable to retrieve signature image dimensions for https://www.17thshard.com/forum/uploads/emoticons/default_ph34r.png, please try another image The image in question is this: Which was included as the last thing on the last line of my sig and now doesn't work. Anyone know how to fix this?

    @Elbereth, upon my first read of the rules, I understood that the Cultists hidden among the Korathi were not known to the other Cultists. I reread the rules and now think that's not right, they have access to the Cultist doc but not the Jeskeri doc. Clarification?

    @Illwei was the Truthwatcher!!!!! Very good first game. I spent the entirety of the game being thoroughly confused Mostly due to the inactivity and size of the elim team... Props to @Frozen Mint and @Lord_Silberfarben for being the two active elims I had read as village, and to the rest of the team for winning. Thanks Straw for running!

    I guess it could be that each surge is present, not each Radiant.

    I’m decently sure it was generally agreed that the elims has some vote manip, probably Windrunner, as balance, and that the vote manip in question was inactive for C1. That does raise some questions on who that is, though, as the inactivity rates have only gone up. From this springs my meta theory that shanerockes is the elim vote manip that was originally Fifth, but I have literally no evidence for that. I doubt they used their charges for no reason, especially since there is stilll another night before the Highstorm. Maybe the village vote manip still alive- my guess would be TJ’s squire, following the one of each Radiant in the game theory- thinks I am good. (Thanks) So the elim Windrunner soothed a vote off elim!you, and the village Bondsmith squire (or Stoneward, I guess) soothed a vote off me. Imo that’s the most likely possibility. Edit: Now that I think about it, we’ve gotten insanely lucky with our mislynches. Most have been vanilla. There are probably 7 Radiants left- one for each order not already dead- and with 13 people left that’s over half, plus squires.

    That’s what I’m assuming. I can’t think of any reason the elims would use the vote manip on me, other then to cast suspicion.

    Smh. What did I say... Oh well. Assuming 4 elims left, we are at 9-4 which isn’t terrible. But that leaves only 2 more mislynches before lylo. So we need to lynch an elim next cycle. Edit: Also, a vote was soothed both off Araris and off me. Not sure what that means, but it’s probably safe to say one if those was elim.
