  1. He asked Siri (not the Warbreaker character) for directions, which unsurprisingly, didn't go very well.
  2. Is this the proper mini roast length? Mine was too long xD
  3. Yes, I again have forgotten about the Korathi Cultist... Sorry :P. Though still, it isn't proof, as we don't know how vehement the JP are about finding the Korathi Cultist and the vote could likely be on someone in the doc just as likely as out of the doc.
  4. ...No? The JP don't really want the Korathi lynched. They want the Cultists lynched/dead. I'd say, if anything, that's more evidence you're not a Korathi.
  5. Even if it was just you thinking out loud, it's still a strange and oddly specific thing for you to be thinking.
  6. @Ghanderflaffle, what happens if nobody else posts?
  7. 'Oh dear' is a very good response to this xD. >:) That's me worried about balance. The blackout rules make that make a bit more sense, but can't help you there :P.
  8. So, biggest JP suspects: Devotary of Spontaneity and Illwei Devotary because of their vote/reasoning for said vote on Mint last cycle. Illwei for the strange JP question in their first post and other posts being like the last one, partial Gut. I also have in my notes that if Illwei is JP then Pyro also likely is, though I don't remember my reasoning for that. I'll look into that.
  9. I went crazy. COMPLETLEY CRAZY And made a Shattering of Adonalsium game: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1016hH-L2DkKsW8o715XGhzxVSaUtX-q7uqYguPAKK7M/edit?usp=sharing Please view/comment on it, though note it's mostly blackout. There is another link in the doc to a separate doc with all the secret mechanics and everything, and would like some feedback on that to. Because it is 100% broken, nearly guaranteed :P. Well, anyway, enjoy.
  10. Merciful Domi! Dasehe thought as she stared at the three bodies lining the floor that had just been discovered. Three dead, so soon... she shivered. She couldn't think about it, not now. Not during this specific expedition- though she had to. For poor, poor, Hinari was dead to her fellow Korathi, fueled by their desire to find the Jeskeri hidden among them. Fueled by a voiced comment that Dasehe had made the day before. She shivered. But the mob was right- there were Jeskeri among the party. The two other deaths proved that, but the interesting thing was, that a search of the fellow called Sun proved that he was not one of those crazy cultists. Meaning the Jeskeri had their own disagreement. Thank goodness. All they could to was press on. The secrets of the temple were there, in front of her, and Domi help her as long as she was alive, Dasehe would discover them. Well that's mildly unfortunate. At least the Jeskeri Inquisition killed off a Practitioner. I feel like the Mint lynch was pretty bandwagony at the end of the cycle. I'd be shocked if all the votes on her were Korathi, and I think an analysis on those votes is worth looking at, probably from someone who didn't vote Mint. Not sure what you mean. I just assumed he was killed because the Cultists would know the Jeskeri lynch would get a JP, so they went with a Korathi that was well trusted and would be an unlikely mislynch. And yeah, sad we only got to see one personality
  11. I mean, traditionally the flashback character is the MC, with viewpoints in every part, and we've already seen Part One has Venli as a viewpoint character. I believe Brandon has called Rhythm of War 'her book', her referring to Venli. And we all know how much Brandon likes symmetry in books, especially in SA . But true nonetheless.
  12. o_0 That's a lot of words. I'll read them all during rollover. Not sure how I feel about the lynch I suggested being the one happening and the possible shade it would throw on me in the case I'm wrong.
  13. Did I? I thought I just had an off gut read on the tone- that I mostly dismissed-, not specifically the content. And it's true, just maybe not to the extent you were implying. It... does? If the JP win we automatically lose :P. Am I misunderstanding the statement?
  14. Pyro asked me if I were a Cultist in a PM as well, to which I replied something along the lines of 'No, did you ask everybody that?' and got no reply back. So some strange interactions. Anyone else experience something similar as Hael?
  15. I mean, you said it yourself: The JP isn't a half-village, and more like half-elim. The JP and Cultists are both elim factions. But yeah... I believe I've mentioned this myself :P. The problem is I have 0 idea how to play this game and where to go off my reads, and if I read someone as 'elim' I'm not sure how to distinguish JP with Cultist. So I just go with who I find the most suspicious and who I find as least likely to be Korathi if I don't have any solid JP reads. Which I don't, because I'm not even sure how to tell someone is a JP at this stage. Which is a bad thing. And as TJ's mentioned, if we lynch a Cultist it's not a bad thing. They are trying to kill us after all - though we'd rather hit a JP over a Cultist, hitting a Cultist is much preferred over Korathi.
  16. Hmm, similar to TJ, disagree with the majority of these. Kasimir I'm not sure becasue a.) never played with them before and b.) they're playing by RP which is not the easiest to analyze/understand :P. Agree on Straw though. I wasn't sure about Illwei but after reading your reasoning in the spreadsheet it makes a bit of sense. You seemed to suspect me partly on the basis that I said I was going to vote but never did? In part that's kind of how I play. I've made similar statements in past games and been called out for it. Also, though, there wasn't a whole lot of posts when I said that (I believe only 10 ish?) but I also forgot how fast QF's move... Not sure what to make of this. They seem basically how I remember (though I didn't play MR43) so I have a slight disagree on this. This being a QF, it's fast :P. So I'll vote now that there's a decent enough number of posts to have a decent analysis on people. I will vote Frozen Mint. Why? Partly gut read on their posts, partly that they've been an elim the past 2 games and I can't see any major changes in their tone, partly they PM'd me with a question that very easily could've been asked in-thread and wasn't sensitive about anything. Would like to see more from @Lord_Silberfarben, who I've noticed does this thing a lot where they don't really say anything .
  17. Yeah, not sure what to make of it either. In a normal SE game I'd probably read it as mild-C1read-elim but this is not a normal SE game :P.
  18. Both, and here is why: I interpreted Straw's statement as that the JP have a set on who the targets are: They know who the Korathi are, and thus will be less prone to vote on them. I think that it's very possible the JP vote, both in their doc and in the thread, on who they think the Cultists are to double their speed of achieving their wincon. So I don't think it's odd. I do think the tone of your post and the idea of a bluff/post to generate discussion + your jump on Straw is odd. But... I don't necessarily think it's JP behavior, so I'll hold off voting on you for now.
  19. I think Ash is saying if a bunch of people suddenly vote on someone who turns out to be the Korathi Cultist, those people will probably include a large number of Practitioners.
  20. Dasehe didn't know what to think. She had expected this expedition to be more science-grounded, but now everyone was arguing over what religion was best- and the temple was being left alone. It was all very confusing and overwhelming, these arguments over the Jeskeri- Domi forbid! And whether to just leave that alone. Well. If there were Jeskeri among them, leaving that matter alone seemed like a bad idea to Dasehe. But she was just a farm girl, only here because of her faith and interest in archeological sites. She just wished the expedition would start. But no. The Jeskeri threat was too daunting. The secrets that could lie in the temple should only be shown to Korathi eyes and heard by Korathi ears. Dasehe sighed. It would seem that this trip would be a lot more dangerous then it had seemed on the surface. Agreed here.
  21. Figured it out: Yeah that. ^ That was it. Not having an in-lynch thread is a very Cultist strategy, and as I wish to lynch the Practitioners, I'll leave Sart alone.
  22. I mean... uh... yeah, I guess. There's a one vote minimum. But like something about this doesn't make sense... or something :/ I don't really want to do that. And I'll say it as well, I am a Korathi- 1. I think it's odd how many people have been implying that even if it's what everyone wants to appear as, and 2. not having a lynch just seems like it would make it easier for the Practitioners to get their win con. And that is not what we want. The Jeskeri are just gonna eat themselves out anyway and we could at least try to do something like any other SE game. And honestly the game would be pretty boring without a lynch. And please don't start the D1 lynch argument again So I'll probably be voting, but not yet, not this early. And you can vote on me if you wish, but it'll be worse than not voting at all.
