Kills/Other actions Why is it evil? I also think a tie would be beneficial.
-
It’s scary because I’m voting him and I don’t know exactly I’ll try though. But @Sart probably could explain this better. At the beginning of a cycle he voted on Gears, a fact that I find random. He also asked weirdly specific questions about complicated Radiant mechanics. Like I’ve said multiple times none of my elim reads are better than ‘mild’ but I think TJ is more likely to be good so my vote lands on Striker.

I am continually astonished by the possibilities allowed by mobile data. As such, I am here from mobile, driving through the states. I only skimmed the posts since last night, but it seems like TJ and Striker are pulling ahead. I don’t really got that strong of a read on either, I’ll reiterate I’d rather lynch Striker, but I suppose I’d be fine with a tie. Last night I probably wouldn’t have been, but I have really liked El’s posts and her playstyle/tone this game, and her posts on TJ have swayed me enough to see a tie as a viable option. It would be interesting to see what vote manip would be used and what info we could get from that. I’ll leave my vote on Striker. Surprised and glad to be here

This is my final post for the cycle, just a heads up. I personally do not want a TJ lynch, at least not this cycle. I have a good gut village read coming from his latest post, so I'll answer the call to defend, however controversial. :/ Could someone point me to where this is? I don't see where this is. (Actually, don't bother xD I won't see it.) I would say pre-up for lynch TJ seemed normal. Post-up for lynch TJ is different, but he hasn't really been in this scenario before, unless you count the QF, and he was sort of frantic there as well. Now, you ask, what about my vote? I won't put it on TJ, or Ventyl. Those two I think it would be in our best interest to lynch later. I would rather lynch TJ today, as we would glean pretty good info from that, but I'd rather save that until later. This makes a difficult decision for me, as surely I'll receive some critique wherever it goes. But it'll probably be more if I don't vote, so I will try to think this through. How unprofessional is an elim read on someone because they have an elim read on someone you have a village read on? :P. Probably not the best reasoning. But I digress. StrikerEZ keeps ringing the bells for me. Their vote on Gears is weird, and I've read Gears as mild village. I would rather lynch Striker over TJ or Ventyl atm. I don't know, guys. I pretty much suck at D1 . I try, though. Reads: Mild Elim: Striker VERY Mild Elim: Orlok, Devotary Mild(ish) Village: Elbereth, Sart, Magestar, Mint, Gears Mild Village: Kynedath Null: Everyone else Have a good cycle end, guys, I'll rejoin in about 24 hours if I can. Good luck deciding on a lynch .

A surge ability, making an action unalterable. Ventyl is saying if the elims have access to that ability it wouldn't matter if he was being protected, because the elims would use Gravitation while killing him, making the protection useless.
-
Is no one talking about the capital 'L' This is a valid point, though.
-
To clarify: I don't think we should lynch you this cycle. It's just your playstyle of claiming willy-nilly is off putting.
-
Not saying anything is also an option. Not to attract suspicion my way by saying this, but *winces* This seems like a good way to discover if someone's a Radiant or not without squiring. El, before rollover: Don't squire I'm a Radiant Not that I think they would admit this, but still. TJ may have a point. First you claim Radiant, now you claim 1. You are squiring this turn 2. Who you're theoretically squiring. Something is off.
-
I don't know what to think about you just telling the thread.
-
Why wouldn't they be? @Straw Since when were there Honorblades in this game xD
-
I mean, I'm fine with this except Multiple people- you included, I might add- have Ventyl as their strongest/only village read The wording of "we will lynch Ventyl"- this is fine until he does something that makes him seem village. We need to be ready to abandon the plan if necessary.
-
Second, but his first was the vanilla QF.
-
Precisely. Hence my signature. You just need to do your best to pick out the truth, and vote on who you personally find suspicious- maybe work with others you trust, depending on the circumstances, (Do you have a doc to communicate with people?) and that will create the best results. THANK YOU I FINALLY UNDERSTAND WHAT THE HECK STRIKER WAS TALKING ABOUT. I don't know what my thought process was, but I think I thought that if I buddied up with someone who had just voted on me it might look bad, and I certainly don't want to be mislynched. It's unfortunate, because so far this game has had a stereotype of me not thinking through what I post before I do it, and getting elim read for it. Kynedath's post on me is the most reasonable read I've seen all cycle pertaining to me.
-
What about my wording was weird? I can't remember what I put :P. The funny thing was that I warned everyone to be careful as a way to agree with El, who I believe also warned everyone to be careful. Instead she voted on me That whole deal was weird. I was totally confused about Striker's wording, and the explanation he and Devotary gave didn't help. But I didn't want to force to issue on something that didn't matter D1, so I - yes - lied about understanding. Probably wasn't the best idea. Either way, when I saw I wasn't the only one with a suspicion on Striker I took the opportunity to vote. But it doesn't look like that's going anywhere at the moment, and with the resolution given I'll take my vote off StrikerEZ Edit: Ninja'd by El's multiquote. Will edit again in response :P. Edit 2: ^Very good point, IMO. This helps with my tendency to gut-read Ventyl as elim. The thing with TJ is that I've suspected elim!TJ the past two games in the dead doc and been wrong on both accounts, so I'm a bit skeptical on gunning for him. I wouldn't be opposed to his lynch, it probably would give us good info on Ventyl and the people lynching him, but he probably isn't where my vote will end up. Random question- What's tinfoiling? I will only be active in this cycle for about 8 more hours, unless I can figure out how to get mobile internet connection to work in a car traveling through the middle of nowhere Sorry for the ghost posts I may have caused anyone...
-
Well that explains the 1% difference between Windrunner and Edgedancer. I am a stick?
-
First off, I can confirm, both by the QF and prolonged dead-doc talking, that this is perfectly normal for Gears. Currently I read Gears as village. He is talking and making points very similar to the ones made in the QF, and none of the current votes on him are super convincing. Probably true, but for now it sticks. I appreciate the thread staying on the same page as it was last night... I was wondering this myself, actually. @StrikerEZ Sigh... I agree with the first part, I suppose, but every game someone points out the second part, and because that someone was me last LG I feel like it's my turn to correct you. That there is just Araris's playstyle, he takes his poke votes seriously. I would say that's NAI for him. Edit: Turns out TJ already corrected you, a fact that I missed while skimming the thread the first time. Eh.
-
Yes. This is the first part of Striker's post. The second part is why I'm confused: If we did this, and lynched the second player, Striker's original point would say that the second player is also village because an elim wouldn't counterclaim a village Division user. Of course we wouldn't do that- these points contradict each other. Am I the only one that's confused about this? xD @StrikerEZ Hellllllllllllllllllp.
-
I may be wrong, but I think this contradicts itself. "The elims are highly unlikely to ever be the counterclaim" to "we should always lynch the player who makes a counterclaim if the first player turns out to not be an elim". Can you explain my confusion? Quoting myself ^ I still don't get how what you said there isn't a direct contradiction to itself :P.

^That makes a lot of sense to me. And, I went back and read Striker's post that I was confused about again, and even though I said I understood it... I don't understand it. So, StrikerEZ for now.

Ah, I see, thanks. My bad... Also, on an OOG note, your reputation is at 666- Torturer of Heralds.
