  1. Today was the first time since I joined the Shard that I opened it in the morning and had zero notifications.

    What happened? :P

    1. The Unknown Medallion

      The Unknown Medallion

Thursdays are slow. I only got about six notifs, and they were from Boon and Bane and similar things.

  2. Well, this doctor doesn't really care about the second thing, but he would love the first thing... alright, noted for a hopeful draft 2
  3. That also goes for if there are some villagers left- like it's down to 1 Yiga, Link, and 3 villagers, the Yiga kills Link and Link kills the Yiga, so there are just 3 villagers alive. All the elims are dead, and Zelda and Link are dead, who wins? Still the Yiga?
  4. So, I wanted this to be my 4,000th post, but I won't get there for a few weeks and since I just finished Part One of this thing it seemed like a good place to post it. My book! Or the hopes and dreams of one. This thing has gone through so many versions; the plot has changed, the freaking basis of the thing has changed, but I think this is the best version of it. I'm 22k words in, so it had better be :P. Yes, that is a working title that is prone to changes. Might need one. It makes sense to me, who knows why it's called that, but it's not of huge significance until later so idk. Also it's kind of stereotypical, in a way? So yeah working title. Constructive criticism and/or grammar spelling check would be appreciated I don't actually care if anyone reads the whole thing or any at all but just thought I'd share anyway (Hopefully) enjoy Project Rosette! Prologue: One: Hope I got all those italics right after copying it over lost them all :P. I'll post more at some point, obviously that's not the whole thing (there's five more chapters, each about that long) but I both want to see if anyone is willing to actually read this thing and also I don't want to dump a lot onto someone who does. I want it to be approachable. And it takes a long time to reformat these and I don't want to do five more right now. Anyway, that's all for now! It gets more interesting I promise Two:
  5. Like, "Hey Fadran, do a thing about this" And then Fadran does a thing about that
  6. Man it's been a while since I've been Daziron. Guess there hasn't been a Roshar game that I didn't run in a long time MR53, I guess is the next one. The incessant pounding of hammers on wood, strangely, didn't drive Jaralph mad like it seemed to for so many others. Perhaps his ears had gotten used to the sound, blocked it out entirely, or maybe since it was by his own hands the noise was created he could stand it. He might even say it calmed him, on some days. The craftmanship certainly did. Placing a nail on the edge of a board at just the right angle, Jaralph held it in place near the bottom and swung back his free arm, which held a hammer of suitable size for the task at hand. A few quick bang, bangs later, and the nail was fully in place, concealed under a lip of sanded wood. Admiring his art, Jaralph stepped back, rubbing his trimmed beard and humming a tune in beat with his usual hammer stroke. The piece before him would soon be a chair, elegant and sturdy- not for King Rhoam, but for Jaralph himself. His current one, made by his father before him, was falling apart. Charming, but worth more in sentimental value than actual use. This new chair would be better than any before it, allowing a secure place for bottoms to rest for generations. "Jaralph, sir!" A voice called from the doorway. Jaralph turned, waving the messenger boy in. "Come in, lad. My chair is coming together!" The messenger boy smiled weakly, and Jaralph could tell it was forced. A frown creeped onto his grizzled face. "I'd love to," the boy continued, "but I told the King I'd spread the message far across the castle, to every room." "And what message is that?" Jaralph prompted, giving his full attention to the boy. The lad gulped. "Well, sir, it's just that we're on lockdown now." He looked side to side nervously. "A Yiga was discovered infiltrating the castle. No one is to leave." The message delivered, the boy scampered off. Well, at least Jaralph knew why the lad had seemed so nervous. A Yiga in the castle, and a lockdown. How about that. Well, Jaralph didn't mind. He hadn't been planning on leaving anyway, not when he was this close to finishing the chair. And maybe, this way, he could have a bit more excitement.
  7. I kind of was assuming the Blessings sufficiently Kandrafied someone on their own, but that was just an assumption. Right now Philico just has some Blessing spikes in his inventory.
  8. Admittedly I don't know how kandrafication actually... works. But yes I mean Blessings.
  9. You win :P. Plus, Philico's not actually a Kandra, just has some Kandra spikes. Not sure how that would affect him anyway, kandra spiking some hordelings. Huh. (By the way, Jaralph is a carpenter.)
  10. I’ve only played half of Breath of the Wild because it got overdue and I had to turn it back into the library
  11. I'll be Jaralph! Time to brush up on my Zelda lore and actually read the post
  12. I'm allowed to have one 8.5*11 sheet of notes paper for my Geometry final

Because I'm homeschooled (via an online program), create my own schedule, and procrastinate :P.

    4. Experience

      Experience

You should see my friends page. He writes so small that he could fit all that on a notecard.

  13. Not for a rerun, which is what it would be at this point
  14. Aren’t Hazekillers the guys that are trained to kill Allomancers? Them being the strongest of the roleblock roles at least makes sense in that regard.
  15. (I, for one, didn’t mind the other players being able to ignore me at the end there, but it still probably would be a good change )
  16. Well, yeah It has food in it. MarRiis is a good Kandra name. Yearly event is great!
