Long Game 78: The Legend of Zelda: The False Heroes
Mat replied to Biplet's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Ah, that explains the lack of comment of my first post That's a vote to execute someone. At the end of the turn (36 hours ish) whoever has the most votes is killed. -

Do have to agree that this is pretty much normal Illwei... maybe a bit more chaotic than usual, but I'm blaming that on her just coming off from MU Champs especially after pulling a slight urist -

Speaking of learning... It is technically against the rules to take out something while editing. Editing is fine if you're fixing grammar or adding something, but you can't change the actual content of something that's been posted. The part you took out is preserved in my quoting of it, so you can add that back in easily. No biggie -

It's not a Sanderson game, we're not in the cosmere, and unlike many other people I actually follow those rules -

Restating that I think it’s a bad idea to say in thread what we’re requesting :P. Welcome to the game, though! Edit: I’m ignoring every Zelda/Link claim besides Illwei’s because Illwei’s is the only one that has actual basis besides claiming for funsies. At least I presume she has a reason for claiming :P. Anyway it’s the only one I consider even remotely likely to be a serious claim. Leaning to not though. -

It makes it much harder for the elims if they don’t know who has protection, so claiming what item you’re trying to get (especially whether or not you get said item, claimed during the Night) isn’t too great of an idea in general. Really don’t claim if you get it or not. -

I'd rather assume nothing about meta alignment things like that. -

Still think it's a different tone but I do completely agree :P. Not necessarily that you're actually Zelda, but that you're village. I guess. -

That didn't sound like Illwei The voicing I mean Weird. Not sure what to think about the claim, because you think the elims aren't able to kill you tonight? I mean Kohga's kill exists but you're saying they wouldn't want to use it because they wouldn't want to waste it... hmm Ignoring it for now. Does that mean people can request Frogs though? Edit: Wonder who that vote counts for. I'm thinking Archer cause it's last. -

Yeah I totally didn't consider that as the logical other side of e!Beedle confirming elim requests :P. If there was any paranoia (which there was, thanks to the nature of the game, dang it) it's basically gone now. Reading Pyro as village. That's a lot of people viewing the thread. -

Define advertise. Because in thread sounds like a bad plan On a similar vein, replying to TUO’s ‘information free heavy because why not’, I can think of many reasons why not :P. But I’m not reading that elim atm because TUO Fair enough. I’d rather have double scans over double kills too :P. Hey when you roll elim 4 outta the last 5 games you’re glad when you roll village I’m assuming 5 cause of the player count but it could vary based on roles. Leaving my vote on Yeet cause while they posted a few times, they haven’t acknowledged it. Though I guess there’s not much to acknowledge. -

Mostly quoting this just to note that the differences between my and Archer's assessments, which I find somewhat interesting but also expected Archer, does realizing that the Sheikah are in fact the and not a make your guess different? Yeah, I agree that Zelda and probably Link should claim if up for the exe, but it still potentially could be nice if she scans an elim. Like I said, weigh the benefits if that happens. The Postman idea is a good point, seeing as an elim Postman who tries to do anything tricky would be immediately outed. It did occur to me that a smaller team with e!Beedle is a possibility, but I agree with you in that it probably isn't the case. I don't really love 'probably' though so I'll join the hordes in being cautious of this. If this is the plan, why choose Zelda to signal instead of Link? I mean I get the double scans but a single scan is still better than a dead Zelda :P. Mostly I'm curious just to see how many people will ignore this plan altogether. Like, there's no way for that curiosity to be fulfilled until the Aftermath and the GM spreadsheet, but I still wonder Yeah, that's why I said Beedle is very likely village, I just didn't mention exactly why I said that I guess. The way to balance it would be Beedle plus like one or two more, maybe both vanilla, so that their team is underpowered but gets free items. It's technically possible but unlikely. -

Excited for this game! I wrote the following like a week ago and then revised some things yesterday so this should be up to date in some way Zelda/Link, DON'T CLAIM. Link especially, ever. Zelda... there's a whole lot of ways you could think about this. I'm just going to give the simple advice of really, really think about if you want to claim, the only reason you ever should is if you scan an elim, but think- if there is a reasonable chance that elim could get exed in the future, imo it's not worth a claim but that's for you to judge and I don't want to suggest not claiming if you scan an elim because that doesn't make much sense :P. Just... think about it real hard if you want to. But Link never should, ever. Kohga's kill will probably be saved for if Zelda/Link do claim. I doubt they'll use it beforehand. All the name specific roles very likely only have one person with them, for obvious reasons. Postman/Sheikah/Knight could all have multiple people and probably do. There's nothing in the rules that say it's role madness so I'm assuming there's a few vanillas as well. It's dangerous to try to guess which roles the elims have, but I'm going to anyway I think Beedle is definitely village. Mipha, Daruk, and Revali also are likely village (Daruk most likely of the three, Revali least likely of the three). Rhoam and Urbosa are the two unique roles I think are most likely to be Yiga, though with Kohga's Kill as a mechanic Urbosa could be village just because of that. Really what I've discovered as I'm writing this is that there's no clear evil one of these which I guess is the point And really GMing trolling is a thing that very much exists so I guess this whole paragraph is irrelevant, but hey :P. It makes a lot of sense for the Yiga to have a Knight imo. I'd also not be entirely shocked if they have a Postman. They likely have 5 people, so maybe Kohga/Knight/Postman/Rhoam/vanilla? Switching out one of those roles for a vanilla maybe? Idk. Another irrelevant paragraph tbh. I don't think they have a Sheikah though cause scanning Zelda/Link is really OP. Link, I wouldn't be too kill happy? Though with your ban if you hit a villager it actually could be better than a normal CS idk. Do whatever you want, I just don't want you to hit Zelda :P. Not much I have to say about Beedle's shop tbh. It's items, yay Any more suggestions and things just turns into a huge IKYK for Beedle and I don't want to do that to them. Hyped to play! So many new players, that's cool, excited to play with Steel as well. And I'm glad I'm village this game, rolling elim that many times in a row was exhausting :P. Also, none of my RPs ever will have claims, soft or otherwise. It's all for flavor, always. YeetAroundABush Jaralph never thought he'd put aside the chair for another project before it was completed. It wasn't his style. When he put his mind to something, he was famously stubborn, and in his eye the chair was one of the most important things he could craft. But the Yiga, as usual, changed everything. Jaralph was firstly a carpenter- that would always be his one true love- but he dabbled in the occasional metalwork when he had the time. Or when in dire circumstances. He deemed the moment worth of a diversion from delicately carving the beautiful piece of furniture, and that alone should have told anyone paying attention how much the castle had been shook. Jaralph didn't simply stray from his chosen project for anything short of a life-threatening situation, which this definitely was. Twenty-six people in the castle. How many were traitors? How many would survive? Would the former of the two be larger than the latter? Bang. Jaralph hammered at the blade he was shaping, pounding his frustration into the white-hot metal. He curved it carefully, then dunked it in a bucket of water to allow it to blow off its steam. Jaralph blew off his steam as well. He stared at the blade still softly glowing in the water. In all his years serving at Hyrule Castle, he never before had cause to hold a weapon. But now with nowhere to run, he had no choice. -
But ma'am, traditionally wedding dresses are white, or cream, or some other color like that... You know, that went better in my head.

Because recurring characters are fun Ash and Faleast/AraRaash is the OG kandra recurring SE character. I think the rest of these are new except me and Philico but he’s a Sleepless, not a Kandra -
Finally watched Hamilton yesterday!

BUT IEYASU TOKUGAWA.
Also Ibn Battuta.
Hamilton was cool and all but he's just another white male American.
Oh, and you can't forget Theodora of the Byzantine Empire.

But he was one of the founding fathers and that kind of, at least to me, makes him American by default, even if he wasn't when he was younger.

There’s rule threads and introduction threads pinned in the Subforum page, but I’m sure Tani would like to post her thing as well
