Hmm this has been episode two of Mat forgetting parts of the rules (or at least not considering everything) Yeah, scans would make sense in that regard. But like I also think it’s obvious what I was referring to :P. Like, I’m sure you didn’t think that I wouldn’t want an evil scan to be shot down. What were your two pings? I see one.- 123 replies

…Right, forgot about the Bodyguard role. Even though I just had mentioned it. Cool. I maintain there’s no reason to claim a green scan unless the green scan is in danger, though. Huh- 123 replies

Quick-Fix 57 - The Infiltrators of Elantris
Mat replied to The Unknown Medallion's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Not being the first one to post feels weird. It's nice though, good job. Miscellaneous: Village streak continues, I won't tunnel this time. Probably. The elims being purple and not red is throwing me for a loop .-. especially since the Monks have red armor, no? At least Hrathen does. I guess he's not a monk but he is Fjorden or whatever. The elims' replication abilities are basically useless since the only ability that actually is useful for them to replicate is the one they aren't able to. @The Unknown Aon Szeth is Szeth_Pancakes, not Facepalm. And you should probably put that it's Cycle One in the thread title. Role recommendations: Death: Don't. Ever. There's so few players that it's a bad idea, and it messes with the alignment scans. Just don't. Wisdom: Standard protect, so try to IKYK out who the elims are gonna attack. That kind of thing, have fun trying to figure it out :P. Justice: Go go go, please. Quickly. Only reveal if you have like multiple village ones, or an elim. But I wouldn't claim C2 with a village scan unless we're about to misexe them. Maybe not even then. Watchfulness: Also useful cause it can catch kills. 3/4 roles are super helpful for the village lol Guess on Distro: Kinda just think there's one of each role on the village side, if even that. Death/Justice might be left out altogether. If a role has two, it's Wisdom. It doesn't matter if the elims have a role, because I doubt they have Death and the others are useless to them. Actually, they might have Death for the extra kill, and 2 elims. That seems balanced. Huh. I think there's no chance there's 1 and a small chance there's 3 if they're like all vanilla or something Hot takes: Shard of Reading Danex is village (though I would laugh if this is e/e) Don't ask me about Szeth- 123 replies

LG82: Night Three: A Good Idea As it is with all wars, the Scadrian feud between Allomancers and Feruchemists had ups and downs for both sides. No one was dying at first (interesting that it was expected to be easy to kill a user of the Metallic Arts) but eventually people started to fall. The first fatality was mr lowercase, a blow to the Feruchemy side of things. But a few quick Allomancer deaths soon followed. Luthadel hadn't seen excitement like that in years, and it showed no sign of stopping. The voice of the people had proven to be strong, but the even the strong have their weaknesses. At the time, it had seemed like a good idea to apprehend Danex, whom no one had seen since he was nearly killed in the alleyway a few nights ago. At the time, it seemed like his desire to hide from the Allomancers was keeping him away. It wasn't a good idea. It wasn't what was keeping him away. But it's too late now. Danex was executed! He was an Allomancer! Vote Count: Mage (2): Szeth_Pancakes, Tani Danex (3): Araris Valerian, Mage, Kasimir Szeth_Pancakes (1): Danex Night Three has begun, and will last about 24 hours. It will end on Friday, December 10th, at 10am PST. Don't forget about any actions that may be possible to take! PMs are closed. Player List:

The QF starts tomorrow, so… two weeks? It only has seven players, so if you can manage it I think TUO would appreciate that. You know, just if that works for you. Welcome back!

I would write any form of survival in the same way, yes. A roleblock wouldn't show up at all though (which is normal, but I've felt the need to clarify this ever since I messed this up when I ran my first game :P) This is not a confirmation that protects, roleblocks, or any role or ability at all is in the game, etc, etc, blah blah blah. Thanks.

I think that the GM ought to have some fun when running the game, or else they may never do it again. In this case watching the game suffices for me But if you have actual questions I’d be happy to answer them.

All kills happen simultaneously. I’m PAFOing this. Tani is correct.

LG82: Day Three: Murder Thrice Mirrored It was normal, for circumstances such as this (two separate parties unhappy with one another) to attempt to solve the problem by way of calm discussion during daylight hours. All across the cosmere, throughout its history and many iterations, groups have done just that. More often than not, however, the calm discussion turned into murder. Every time! It happened almost every time. The success rate of the strategy wasn't as high as it could be, but since it was much higher than not doing anything at all, there was no reason to start doing anything different now. These Scadrians, these silly Scadrians, were so close to correctly following the pattern. They all got together, sure, but there was one crucial difference in their method. They gathered in the courtyard when the moon was high and the sun was low. It had taken some convincing to get a few of them out when the mist was looming in the alleyways, but since everyone here aligned with a Metallic Art they weren't as scared as common skaa would have been. (Danex in particular was thrilled). They circled up to discuss the death of the Feruchemist known only as mr lowercase, and what his past mannerisms could mean. They theorized the abilities of the people standing next to them. For some reason, they didn't demand everyone roll up their sleeves. That would have solved the problem much, much quicker. Perhaps they would have, if not for the rude interruption of three attacks. They came independent of each other, but the last happened only seconds after the first. The first came via spear, hefted from five feet away. It caught Illwei in the side and she crumpled instantly. The assailant fled before anyone even knew they were there. The second was in the form of an arrow, shot from a nearby rooftop. It flew true, striking Brawnze in the back. He hardly made a sound as he joined the leatherworker. The archer on the roof stayed only long enough to assure his target was dead. The third attack was the jab of a knife, aimed at Reva's neck. The glint of steel caught in the moonlight just before the swing was made, and several gasps echoed one another. At the sound of them, Reva turned, and the knife flew past her nose, nicking the tip of it. Reva touched the wound, raising a hand to brush her face, and her finger came back a little red. Quickly, Reva swept the feet out from under the attacker, not intending to let a third get away. He collapsed on the ground and she pulled him into the light cast by the moon. He was no one Reva had ever seen. She understood what had happened, now. As Reva looked around the circle, she knew that three of them, anticipating the meeting, had hired assassins to do the dirty work they couldn't. Skaa nobodies who would kill for a few boxings. Two had succeeded, and now two of them were dead. Illwei has died! She was an Allomancer! Archer has died! He was an Allomancer! Tani was attacked, but survived! Day Three has begun, and will last for about 48 hours, ending on Thursday, December 9th, at 10am PST. There will be an execution today, with a 1 vote minimum. Ties will result in RNG deciding between the tied parties. PMs are closed. Player List:

lg82: night two: mr lowercase of all the inconspicuous characters in luthadel, none were more so than mr lowercase. appearing in town only recently (at least as far as anyone could remember), mr lowercase tended to hang about, trading boxings and never speaking his first name no matter how much he was asked it. his opinions were strong, and noir music followed his every move. the townsfolk seemed to know something was up with him, though. luthadel was primarily a home of allomancers, and while ordinary terrismen were nice enough the aggressive feruchemist interlopers were on everyone's mind. it didn't take long to realize mr lowercase's long sleeve shirt was bunchy around the forearms, more so than was typical of a shirt. he disregarded the initial comments and questions about it, but soon had to start blaming his launderer and make other such excuses. but the interest didn't stop. finally, it was too much. mr lowercase rolled up his sleeves and showed the world why his sleeves were so bunchy. arm bracers. the feruchemy kind. he tried to explain that he was the nice kind of terrisman, but it didn't take a genius to know that a nice terrisman wouldn't have hidden that he was, in fact, a terrisman. and just like that, mr lowercase was no more. sart has been executed! he was a feruchemist! vote count: sart (2): araris valerian, illwei araris valerian (1): szeth_pancakes mage (2): kasimir, archer archer (1): mage szeth_pancakes (1): sart night two has begun, and will conclude in about 24 hours, on tuesday, december 7th, at 10am pst. don't forget any actions! pms are closed. player list:

LG82: Day Two: Leather and Mist Everybody knew that Illwei could be found at the leatherwork shop, working late every night. Her craft was one that took time, and despite the long hours, she loved her work. Better than being a skaa left on the streets. At least she had a legal way to make boxings. Illwei liked the routine the job offered. She knew where to be and when to be there. Life was easy and free from confusion. These days, especially for a person such as Illwei, the less confusion the better. There already was so much of it; she didn't need it in the workplace. Unfortunately for Illwei, the routine she so cherished would betray her in the end. For everybody knew that Illwei could be found at the leatherwork shop, including those who Illwei would rather not know. She was bent over a piece of cloth, the room only lit by a candle, when she was suddenly put in a choke hold from behind. She felt her lungs constricting, and panic instinctively bubbled up inside of her. Her limited vision started to blur, and in a final, desperate burst of strength she reached out with her arm and grabbed the candle she had been working by only moments before. Hot wax dripped onto her fingers, but she didn't have breath to scream. In her final moments, Illwei whipped back her arm with all her strength, aiming the flame for where she thought her attacker's head was. Illwei was released, and she gasped for breath, falling to her knees. She blacked out before she hit the floor. * * * On that same night, Danex decided it was a nice evening for a stroll. Unlike most folks around town, he didn't believe the superstitions spoken about the mist. It wasn't scary, helpful, harmful, any of that. It was just mist. A lot of the times, Danex liked to walk through the mist, since he thought the coolness on his face felt nice. Others thought he was crazy, a spawn of evil, a Mistborn... he had heard enough rumors to last him a lifetime. He just liked mist. As he walked, Danex considered the buzz going around town. Something about Allomancers and Feruchemists having it out for each other? Danex knew he should probably be more concerned, but it wasn't as if it was dangerous to walk around in the dark, alone, in situations like this, right? Wait. That didn't seem right. I kind of want to live. Danex thought to himself. I bet that one street down, someone with a knife is waiting for me to walk past so they can stab me. So he turned around and went home. One street down, the person with the knife who was waiting for Danex to walk past so that they could stab him let out a quiet "Rusts!" Illwei was attacked, but survived! Danex was attacked, but survived! Day Two has begun, and will go for about 48 hours. It will end on Monday, December 6th, at 10am PST. There will be an execution today, with a 1 vote minimum. LG82: Night One: Bronze is Love, Bronze is Life Brawnze was new to Luthadel, but he didn't think that was any excuse for the behavior of the locals. They just didn't understand the bronze. Bronze was love, bronze was life. Bronze was not food. That was a pity, really. He was constantly forced to move from group to group as more and more people disregarded his bronze. Why didn't they understand? It was not hard to understand. Take the bronze, use the bronze, just don't eat the bronze. Maybe the people didn't like Brawnze's attempt at lunch. The crowd of people following him grew. Maybe Brawnze was being successful! But the people weren't taking the bronze. No. Brawnze was not successful until the people took the bronze. "Hey!" he shouted. "Take this bronze!" Brawnze gestured at the sled. "Use this bronze!" "We don't need more metal!" someone shouted. Other voices joined in. So loud. Brawnze couldn't tell what the loud people were saying. "Bronze!" he protested. An arrow suddenly flew from the left, and time seemed to slow to a crawl. Brawnze looked down at his chest, where he knew it would hit. Ping! Brawnze smiled wide, showing his teeth to the silenced crowd. He pulled back his shirt, revealing a dented metal breastplate underneath. "Bronze!" Archer was executed, but survived!
