  1. "At first it was about the roar, you don't often hear a bear roar this time of year. And now I'm curious about your group. You are as mixed a group as common mercenaries, but you have scholars and children among you."
  2. "Curiosity and concern, I guess." Chrys looked at the man curiously. Something was a little off about him, though who was she to talk about looking odd? "A researcher? I'd love to chat, as long as I get to ask questions too." She laughed a little. "Though trying to contact me would be a little hard. We are a wandering folk, and don't stay long in one spot."
  3. I almost didn't want to answer this so we could find out if Tom Holland is on the forum... but nope. TPBM wants to build a snowman
  4. Just as Chrys was figuring out how best to help, the beast suddenly stopped, as if the life from it was extinguished like a candle flame. She couldn't tell whether someone had dealt the killing blow, or if something else was in play. Either way, I probably shouldn't just stand here. She carefully stepped into the clearing, hoping she didn't startle anyone. Cautiously she spoke up, hoping her gift didn't do more damage than good with this group. "Greetings. I feel like I've stumbled upon you at a bad time, but I am glad you were able to vanquish the beast. My name is Chrys, of the Draoidh clan."
  5. YES! Tchaikovsky is one of my favourite classic composers. TPBM finds it funny that the American way to spell to spell "favourite" is the one that spellcheck thinks is right, even though the rest of the English speaking world spells it "favourite" instead of "favorite".
  6. Chrys took her time walking back to camp, stopping to smell the roses and pick a couple mushrooms. It was a quite still day, she was enjoying the time away from the hustle and bustle of camp. Though it would be fun if something interesting hap... Her daydreaming was cut short by a load roar from somewhere else in the forest. What in Faro’s name!? Tossing care to the wind she ran towards the sound of the beast, hoping that she would be able to help whoever was out there, but not help the beast fill it’s stomach. Her steps slowed as she neared the clearing where the sound had come from. She could hear the sound of people, and was that an explosion? I’m an idiot for coming here. What did I think I could do against a beast? She paused before going into the clearing, making sure to stay out of the beasts sights, and figure out how she could help.
  7. Sandy Sanderson (AKA Moonwalker) fell down to crush another Nathline bookkeeper.

  9. Is it weird that I can read this perfectly fine? Yay!
  10. They are both delicious. But the best jam is my Grandma's strawberry freezer jam. Put that on fresh baked buns with a little bit of butter... mmm...
  11. Honestly I would prefer not, mainly because a lot of villains in recent media have been given a redemption arc, and while I love the concept of it I don't think every villain needs to become good in the end. It almost cheapens them. That saying, I would not complain about it if Brandon decided to give him one, if he could do it right, which I have confidence he has the abilities to do.
  12. I feel like such an idiot. :P I just read your username outloud, and realized I've been reading it wrong in my head this whole time. I love it.

    1. Flying

      Flying

Thanks. My last name is Weiss and there's so many random puns that I have for it, but the rice krispies one is my favorite :D

  13. Cloaks are fantastic. I have one (without sleeves so maybe it would be considered a cape...?) that has fur around the collar. Sometimes I put it on when I'm at home to feel like a viking. It's great fun. I can sew quilts, but cloaks have evaded my talents for a long time. I tried making one for Halloween one year when I wanted to be a Jedi... that didn't end well. I need to actually find a pattern and just do it.
  14. *stops to catch breath* I'm glad it's past three minutes. (Honestly I have the worst endurance ever unless it's for something very important) Now back to this initiation thing, I like the idea of candles and cloaks, though I think over-sized sweaters would be more along the lines of our cult. Just from personal experience.
  15. That is really cool. Almost makes me want to try 3D printing. And then I remember how hard it is. So I will just give you a rep point and kudos. Because that's impressive.
  16. Really nice looking patterns and colours, curious to know where its from. 7/10
  17. I know right? It's always so hard to find people like me, and then I remember people like me act like me. And I stay at home, even before all these travel restrictions... This is the way.
  18. There’s a dash because it’s not a Christmas tree, it’s a Chris-tmas tree. As in a tree with pictures of all the famous people named Chris (especially the ones from the Marvel movies) No, I do not. Though my siblings have been mistaken for my children on occasion. TPBM likes mint
  19. Mint is delicious. That’s why ice cream mishaps like that happen more often than you’d think in my house. Have you seen a rainbow recently?
  20. That's good. My day is slow and boring, but once evening comes I'm watching Mando, and that will make everything better. Last week I bought ice-cream for my brother. I thought I was doing a good thing... until I realized I bought mint ice cream. My brother hates mint. *sigh*
  21. Starting the conversation is always the hardest part. Hey Connie, how's the 11'th of December treating you?
