I remember in part three of OB Dalinar asks the Stormfather how spheres are recharged and he says this: I don't know if this helps, but it sounds like a perpendicularity to me?

I didn't think about clotting. I would hope that because of the investiture that wouldn't happen. Thats just wishful thinking though because a blood soul caster who doesn't have scabs would look so much cooler.

Yea. I Would guess that they would drip blood only after they have recently soulcast something into blood, so it doesn't just happen randomly. I also think that's why we don't really see blood soulcasters. They don't really seem to have a big purpose (I guess waters important, but we haven't really seen a shortage of water) and so are relatively rare, or they just stay away from people as much as they can.

The day I walk down the aisle, my father at my side and my love watching from the end. I wink at him, he rolls his eyes. When I get to him, my father kisses my cheek and lets go. I walk to my fiancé. You may kiss the bride" He does. Did it!!

Candles Six candles. She blows one out. The rest open their eyes. "Dead?" he said. "Me?! What I do?" "Dave, Have you ever seen yourself eat?" They guess who the Mafia is. They are wrong. Five candles. She blows another. Another friend gone. It's just a game right? Just a game. I took like 30 minutes trying to write a happy one. Kinda gave up.

Well, smoke doesn't hold a form either, but Kaza still turns into smoke, the smoke just floats away. I think its similar with the other gas/liquid essences, so if part of a blood soulcasters cheek turned into blood, it would just drip down their jaw or go into their mouth or something. The edges of the hole, with for Kaza were slightly translucent, would be blood red, or simply without skin, so if it were on their fingertips, you could see the bone and muscle of the edges of their fingers.

chapstick that's melted in a car and used by 18 other people The friendship bracelet of a long lost friend you haven't talked to in... Was it 11 years? 14? An email you're sending to a teacher that you've rewritten 30 times. Bonus weakness: Their one word response.

granted, But whenever you're in the high school you have to pee. Going to the bathroom doesn't help. I wish that whenever I buy something I have the amount of money I need in my pocket.

Gone Toothbrush. socks. pocket knife. Rations. Medication? Yes. Advil. Books won't fit. Tears fall as I leave them behind. All Packed. At the door, I glance behind me. I hate this place, but can I really leave? Memories flash, then creaking comes from above. Out the door. Through the woods. Run.

I agree. Id like to see where this goes. Having a herald that wasn't a bad dude from the start, and still isn't, but somewhere in the years of torture by himself he got corrupted without knowing it. Im not sure exactly what Odium could do with a sleeper agent, but regardless, the comeback arch of him having to forgive himself would be great in my opinion.

Mmmm mmm mm. I didn’t know this legendary thread existed until 5 minutes ago and oh gosh I can not express my love for A:tla in words. All the way man. Love it. Leaves from the vine? Go ahead rip my heart out. First time I watched secret tunnel? Tried for an hour to get my forehead as red as Sokkas. Zuko? Oh you little- perfect man I love you with my whole heart. Any scene with Iron ever? It’s alright, I didn’t need those tears anyway

I like this. A sleeper agent would be so cool! Maybe the sibling could do something like this? or one of the unmade that we don't know a lot about, Like Chemoarish who can be wrongly associated with the Nightwatcher. Maybe this is because they can do similar things? So Chemoarish could give him a "Boon" of going insane so that he could better deal with his pain (Kinda like a Reod Elantrian) and in exchange he would become like a sleeper agent, but wouldn't remember/ even know about the "Curse". Just and Idea. Anyways I think sleeper agent would be sweet.

If he really were "working" for odium, I feel like he would have been the one to break most often, giving odium more opportunities to win, or he could have abandoned the Oathpact first to weaken it, and the other 9, seeing that there was a quick way out of the torture, and knowing there was little reason to stay because the Oathpact was already weak, would have followed suit. Which didn't happen. It's a cool theory, defiantly cool to think about, and who knows it might be right, I just don't think Odium would have held back an advantage like a herald for so long.

@Aminar Ive been rereading OB, and in chapter 57 Odium says that he is more than just odium, but that he's passion itself. So I'm onboard the Passion train now. I don't think Rayse started out as a bad person, just pessimistic and hateful but the fact that he took the passion shard amplified that pessimistic and hateful view to make him "evil". He is considered "Odium" because that's the part of his personality that the shard happened to amplify. Just imagine if the philosopher Hobbes got the passion shard. He would not be a good man. This is mirrored by the fact that in the background of Dalinar and Odiums conversation, people who were kind moments earlier were killing each other for shards. Brandon probably chose to put their conversation during that vision to show that that's what happened to odium, like a backwards foreshadowing. And Odiums unmade show this too. They aren't hateful, but they make people passionate about specific things. Think of Ashertmarn, he makes people want to indulge. Or Nergaoul, who causes the thrill. These aren't hateful feelings, just passionate ones. It would be interesting to see the effects of odiums shard with someone else, like Kelsier or Vasher.

Okay so I know that places in the cognitive realm are closer together, which makes traveling between worlds easy, but how do worldhoppers actually get to the other worlds, is space just non existent? or does space become like a landmass that worldhoppers can just walk across? It seems like it wouldn't just go away, because its unlikely that no one in the cosmere thinks about space at all. Does anyone know how this works?
