    Oh and the icing on the cake of my solo is that the song is too high for my range. We're all singing the same song (Homeward Bound) and it's available in three keys. The lowest one is in D, so the highest note is a D right above the C an octave about middle C. AND THAT"S RIGHT WHERE MY BREAK IS. So ugh.

    I just barely listened to a podcast where they were talking about Cats, and one of the guys owned the Cats original London performance on VHS. He took it to his college dorm and it got stolen by a robber. When the police came his room mate explicitly made sure to tell the police that it was his room mate's, not his. Also later in the episode they were talking about how the Book of Mormon musical is the best musical ever and I'm like hmmmmmmmm no anyway carry on.
