Chorale decided that the frontal approach wasn't working well. She stepped back and let the bubble fall. "I'm sorry," she offered. Once the Amal had let down its guard, she would follow it. But to do that, she would need to get the Amal to let down its guard. "I should have realized that the attacker wouldn't come inside the very settlement it was attacking. Is there anything I can do to apologize?"
Crescendo laughs. It's a low-pitched sound that rises in volume, and sounds rather pleasant. "Okay, now I want a turn!" She sits on the banister, keeping her hand on it, and slides down. "Woo hoo!"
I'm sure this is the first time this question has been asked but I'm going to ask what your first impression of me was.

The glass starts to slip out of Crescendo's hand as she is bumped into, but she raises the friction on the sides and it stops. "Hi!" says Crescendo. "Sorry about that."
Crescendo took the milk and bread, smiling at the cook. "Thank you so much! I should probably go to bed now." She turned and headed back up the stairs to her room.
