Heya guys! It's been a while, I know... I just opened up the Shard on a whim, and I'm so grateful for everyone who didn't forget me while I was gone!

If anyone's got any favourite RPs that they're in, I'd love to join one or two, just to see if I can ease back into things. But most of all... hi!

So apparently I'm a Shard legend now? I need a screenshot of that. I like to sleep, but not on the same schedule as everyone else. There's no feeling like being awake at 3 am, although waking up at 2 pm is a bit irritating after a while.

Hi!
Today I had the thought (one I've had before) that I missed the community on the Shard and finally decided to act on it. So I'm back! I don't think I'll do much for now, I'm trying to ease back into it so I don't overwhelm myself. But just opening this gives me good feelings, so I hope to do so much with all the amazing people here!

As Ellis attacked her doubles, Melody kept as still as possible, moving the others around him and hoping he'd get close enough for her to snatch the amulet.

Aria smiled. New friends were her favourite. -
Melody gasped in pain, the breath causing even more agony. She fell backwards to the ground. What more could she do at this point? Ellis was so much stronger than her, she barely even had any sword training! It was probably hopeless... But she had to keep trying. One more attempt before she had to give up, Melody thought as she illusioned away her pain for the time being. Later she could hurt. She created 6 copies of herself as she stood, giving each of them - and herself - varying degrees of realism. As she moved around herself, Melody came up with a plan: As many copies as possible.

Hey there y'all.
Prom's today, I'm going stag, and so my friends, Vapor, and I went to savers for a "day date". It was a PARTY.
Also, I got an odd1sout hoodie that should be like $40 for $5 instead.
And $80 worth of books for less than $20.
I was so excited, y'all, savers has fabulous deals.

Aria raised her hand excitedly. "I want some hot chocolate!"

Melody gasped as she dropped to the ground, her sword falling out of her hand. That hurt. As Melody gritted her teeth and the pain was replaced with adrenaline, she jumped up and grabbed her sword's hilt with both hands. "Well, that wasn't the nicest. You should apologize... I'd accept that amulet!" Melody grinned and swung the sword towards Ellis again.

Melody swung again, this time yanking at her captured hand at the same time.

Melody wondered what that might be and... what if she could hide that too? There was no time for that, though, she had to get that amulet and she had to get it fast. And preferably without hurting Ellis. Melody swung her sword at Ellis's legs, hoping to gain enough movement that she could snatch the amulet anyway.

Melody reached toward the amulet hanging around Ellis's neck, hoping to steal it instead.

So for a reason, each of my siblings and I were given the opportunity to choose one new thing for our room with like a 50ish dollar limit. I'm so excited because mine came the other day It's like those couches that... like fold out and turn into a bed - a couch-a-bed? Anyway except it's not a couch, it's a chair. It's a chair-a-bed. I'm so stoked! So now I'm setting it up. Excited! Ok so I set it up and it is not my favourite colour, but it's blue at least. OMGoodness it's so comfy! it's even got armrests aaaaaaaaaaaaa I love it so much!!!!!

I've been obsessively re-reading The Q by Beth Brower. It's so good!!! Romance, though. If that's a turn-off, Beth Brower's books are not for you.

Here's what I'm thinking: doesn't Soulcasting cause, like... bad things to happen to the people who use Soulcasters? Obviously not if they've got their Nahel bond, but if they're using a Soulcaster, I'm pretty sure they start turning into that thing, which if I'm remembering right does cause pain...? I think as a non-vegan who obviously is nowhere near an expert, if I were trying to be vegan I would not count Soulcast meat, at least made by Soulcasters, as vegan.

Shannon Messenger has said we'll only get the Great Gulon Incident if it is a short story. I thought it might be in 8.5 because beforehand I was pretty sure that'd be a collection of short stories, but it wasn't, so we'll be waiting longer.
